The turn right around 1:13 looks incredible. I bet it's awesome flying that close to the ground before you pull up into the cobra roll

It really is. I went on Katun dozens of times and I never have enough. That turn and the cobra roll are worth the entire ride. Not to mention the 45 m drop…
I live in Rimini which is about 30 minutes from Mirabilandia, i go there every year.. It's awesome! I love katun ♥
È incredibile questo inverted. In prima fila è un'esperienza bellissima. Forza G mai aggressiva, liscio, delicato, quasi balsamico per la schiena quando scendi e ti senti super leggero.

@@trmusear8177 si ma poi forza g mai aggressiva non credo. Non l’ho mai provato quindi di persona non lo posso sapere ma chi l’ha provato mi ha detto che la forza g è abbastanza pesante… quella dell’ispeed credo ancora di più (mi pare sia 4.9G) però mai aggressiva non credo proprio

Ragazzi avrei bisogno di un consiglio: io ho fatto a Gardaland sia il Blue Tornado che Raptor che Magic Mountain, mentre non ho fatto Oblivion e Ispeed perché ho paura dell'altezza...secondo voi potrei fare "Katun" o è meglio evitare?
Boh il katun raggiunge un altezza massima di 52m ispeed 55m ed oblivion mi sembra intorno ai 40 m, vedi tu

American Friend Beh la differenza per quanto banale è enorme, Blue Tornado, un slc, è un coaster che basa la sua caratteristica sulla compattezza e anche sulla modesta altezza, Katun di madre B&M, ha una altezza molto molto più elevata rispetto a un vekoma slc, oltretutto katun si sviluppa per quasi un minuto ad altezze considerevoli a differenza di BT.
Sebbene tu soffra di vertigini ti consiglio vivamente di farlo!Le emozioni che ti farà provare sono molto diverse da BT o da Raptor, sono migliori!
Torno a Mirabilandia ogni anno solo per provare questa attrazione. La prima volta casuale, la seconda front seat verso il tramonto 😎

I remember visiting Mirabilandia as a kid long ago, I ended up riding katun like 20 times in one day. And this lift that falls down was also cool.

@@davidjellis Yeah, it was like 15 years ago, i was just a kid from poland on a vacation camp. We didnt have Amusement parks like that back in that day in Poland. It was one of the best days of my childhood and i still remember it fondly. Thanks Italy.

Ragazzi nulla da dire spettacolare la mia giostra preferita a Mirabilandia senza dubbio tre volte meglio dell' ispeed. Bellissimo ve lo consiglio,andateci subito quando avete la possibilità. Lo provato in prima fila domenica scorsa senza mio babbo ed é stata una esperienza unica.mi é dispiaciuto per mio babbo ma lo rifarò sicuro in prima fila con lui

Tornata da Mirabilandia proprio oggi, io e la mia amica abbiamo letteralmente sforato i dieci giri con Katun e iSpeed in un giorno e mezzo. Adoriamo le attrazioni adrenaliniche.
Per come la vedo preferisco il Katun, soprattutto dalla prima fila!

Possibly the best B&M Inverted coaster in the world. Only Pyrenees at Parque Espana, Japan gives it a run for its money IMO.

Great ride, everyone tends to forget about this one. Definitely one of the best with Oziris being my favourite. I feel I should get over to Italy to ride this but I feel that my next stop will probably be Spain for Port Aventura.
Port Aventura is a lovely park - but Katun is a really good inverter...powerful g forces!
You should try iSpeed, which is also in Mirabilandia. I think it is waaay scarier than Katun, like... i was really shocked after that one
MultiFandom iSpeed was built since my last visit, so haven't tried it yet! I have heard lots of good things about it :-)

Io sabato tornerò a mirabilandia sabato dopo 12 anni che non ci vado... Sono cambiate un sacco di cose dall'ultima volta che sono andata. Gardaland e Mirabilandia sono un pezzo di infanzia ma in particolare modo quest'ultima. L'ultima volta che ci sono andata avevo 10 anni e ora che ne ho 22 mi sento entusiasta come allora.

ma come cavolo hai fatto a registrare la sopra? ci sono andata oggi ora è leggermente diverso e più veloce . CON QUALE CORAGGIO METTIAMO CHE CADEVA IL TELEFONO(VIDEOCAMERA)
La videocamera è stata fissata con un cinturino ed è stata girata quando il parco è stato chiuso al pubblico, quindi la gestione del viaggio è stata felice di aver usato la mia videocamera.

Not sure of the exact theming plans - but it does have a stargate!
In its concept it should have been, but it's actually about Mayan ruins.
Is katun painful?
Not in my experience - I consider it one of the best inverted coasters in the world

There's one at the start as well, and at night they light up turquoise on the inside like the Pegasus gates, as well. Not sure why there's two random stargates since the ride is themed on Mayans.
