- It didn’t take long for us to find the bypass guys! In the one I will show you how to get back online with your PS3 console after this new 4.91 official firmware was randomly released by Sony. People with HEN/CFW jailbreaks on 4.90 will be able to get back online with this method! All is good my boy!

Well, the video is labeled as it works for both HEN and CFW, so that kind of explains it. I was just informing him in my comment that it doesn't for CFW. I did find one that does, though, so I'm covered 👍

just got a PS3. it has the firmware 4.91 update Now installing te jailbreak doesn't work. it does not accept the update via USB from the jailbrake 4.90.
You done screwed up, bud. You now have to wait for a 4.91 jailbreak to come out if/when it happens. This video was just for a workaround without actually updating. But it looks like you answered the question of whether the current jailbreak for 4.90 works on 4.91, which now the answer is No!!!!
you screwed up by updating it, you'll either have to wait or i think the creator might have a video on how to downgrade back to 4.90.

@@MrMafioza1995 yes i use HEN, and Multiman. Nothing happened automatically like what happened on the video. I even manually moved the file to the specified directory and nothing happened after I manually tried to sign on.

does this increase the risk for getting banned when playing online compared to having hen 4.91?
Don't think it would, this update only adds new Blu-ray keys and tries to brick consoles with Hen
It didn't work for me unfortunately. I've tried both ways: using the PKG and also doing it manually through MultiMAN. Guess I'll have to wait for the 4.91 HEN, right?

Mine was set to auto update nothing thinking about it, and it updated and screen went blank had to go to safe mode it's currently doing a restore. Using cfw don't update

Never update to the latest OFW if ur trying to jailbreak. U've got a better chance jailbreaking on older fw than newer ones.

Hey bro I have a few questions do have a ps5 and a steam deck …I like the ally but the price point is a little more than I planned I spending …I personally don’t have a ps5 but my daughters do and they let me remote play from it…it would be nice to have my own being that I always wanted my own ps5 but seeing that new steam deck oled then seeing the ally get new updates to get better and the steam deck is no sleeper lol I’m honestly confused on what to chose my main goal is to have something that would be future proof in the long run honestly could you help me with some advice anyone

Get an OLED Steam Deck. There's more reason to have a Steam Deck (and a lot more user freedom) than a PS5. If you already have a gaming PC then a Steam Deck is optional

USB not showing, it works on the pc and I can use the files stored on it, freshly formatted it to FAT32 to drop the file and it won't show now.
unfortunately some flash drives doesn't work on ps3 try changing to other brands

You'll need the 4.91 update on a usb it's about 197mb

hen and then log in to psn

open hen again. and select sign in .(sign in was not automatic on my system so i would advise to set up not automatic but after booting hen go online.Cheers

I installed the update without knowing that I shouldn't have and now I'm stuck on a screen where I can either try to restart the system (which hasn't worked) or connect storage media that contains update data of 4.91 or later to reinstall the software
I guess your only option is to activate *Recovery Mode*
