To anyone automatically assuming that Kurow is Waka's Son. You need to remember, this game takes place 9 Months after the events of Okami. Not 9 Years.
I mean, he's technically a god, and gods are known to be shapeshifters, so we could just have a Hermes situation here (even though Hermes is a Greek god)
I love how everyone assumes Kurrow is Waka's son ^^ I did too when I first watched Chugga's let's play. Going back through it knowing the story, it's fun to see everyone who doesn't know stating what they assume. Really shows the plot twists in this game.

Funny thing popped into my head from seeing the endslate: the four partners chibi has had could be associated with each of the classic elements; kuni is earth, nanami is water, kagu is fire, and kurow is wind.
first time i saw the scholar i thought she was ugly and was confused how kurow was in love with her then i found out that the things that i thought where her eyebrows where her eyes and here eyes where her glasses

The reason that his name is Redbeard/Bluebeard despite having no actual beard is because in the Japanese language, there are not different words for beard and mustache. His name uses the word "Hige" which, by itself, is a blanket term for facial hair.

Kurow is actually supposed to be Crow. Dunno why they messed up on that. You can kinda tell just by saying it.
"Kami" itself can also mean "God". Thus meaning if its written "Okami" it means "Wolf" and if written as "O-kami" it means "Great God".
You can tell he is like waka because he has the flute and kurow looks like waka
