If you were good with your trowel you could coat 4’ of that bead with one stroke and no holidays ….maybe someday you’ll figure it out 😎

Found your channel and the video on bullnose edges. I'm searching for information and videos to know if it's possible as part of a renovation to round square wall corners on an existing build. Idea is to put more of a Southwest or Mexico-ish feel with well-rounded wall beads and curved doorways. Sort of like, cut away the existing square corner to the studs and fashion a wide bullnose edge for a well-rounded appearance. But I don't know what supports the contour I'm trying to build with the wide paper tape. Thoughts? Maybe a content idea for a future video??

Typically, on your corners you will have sheet rock underneath the corner bead, so if you purchase bullnose corners with paper tape on them (HomeDepot sell them), you will mud both side of the corner and stick the corner bullnose on and run you trowel down both side to set the bullnose then start to apply mud to make the edge of the bull nose feathered into the wall. It will look awesome

@@diydalemccrary678 Thanks, Dale. I'm trying to achieve a WIDE bullnose curve, more like three inches, not the 1" paper/vinyl tape bullnose.
I am thinking of cutting the outside corner sheetrock back at a 45 degree angle to the wood, or deeper and fashion a mud contour to be covered with a wide paper tape.
Ever heard of any technique remotely like this to achieve a 3" round contour?
