Thank you for sharing. This was great! I was searching and searching and searching instructions on how to actually get the image from Silhouette to print on my Epson 7720. This was so very helpful. Again great job.
You're so welcome Barbara. ..glad I could help. I appreciate you. Thank you for watching.
I am so glad you did this using the 7720 bc I have one collecting dust and starting the eco solvent journey as well. Didn't want to get a new printer just yet for that.. Thanks for this video. 🥰
Alisa I have 2 of the 7720's that I rarely used so I figured I would use one without having to purchase another one for Eco solvent. When you convert it just make sure you print something everyday so it won't clog up....Happy printing 🥰
What are the steps to convert it?
@@That2ThisCreations Good to know about printing daily. I was going to ask you about that. I thought eco solvent ink required less maintenance and was nice to printheads, or at least way less troublesome that dtf or sublimation with clogging issues.
@@dorseygirl120 Not sure if you already figured this out, but you just need refillable cartridges and the eco solvent ink. You can go with a ciss system or cartridges. They will have arc chips which will reset when you refill them so your printer thinks it's a new one. I am going with the cartridges over the ciss to start so I can control clogging issues better without worrying about the tubing. :)
Oh and you need to flush out the ink you previously used. A couple printhead cleanings or printing some purge files should take care of that. (just search for purge files for your printer model) Don't do too many printhead cleanings at once though or you might flood the waste tank and cause more problems for yourself.
Da Rica you brighten my day 🙋♀️💖
Awwww! Glad I could bring the sunshine..... thank you Heather 🥰
Great job looks beautiful. When I cut on my cameo pro I always use on the settings Heat transfer smooth
Blade 3
Force 6
Speed 8
And works pretty good for me
Your shirt looks beautiful. Great job.
Thank you Ozzy Heavens. I Will test those settings out for sure. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
@@That2ThisCreations You’re welcome. Have a beautiful day. I really love your work
I can’t wait to learn from you 🤗
Thank you for watching!!
Thanks for sharing. I saw someone reuse a t-shirt that had vinyl on it, by heating small sections up with a small iron and then peeling it off while it's hot. You might need to use your weeding tool to get underneath it, but the trick is getting at it while the adhesive is hot. It would cool too fast for large areas, so this is something that would take patience if it was a lot you wanted to remove. Also, it looked like there was a tiny bit of discoloration in the area he removed the vinyl, (probably a bit of a stain from the adhesive), but it was minimal and on a darker coloured fabric. I think you'd be fine with white and for such a tiny spot. That might help you fix that little piece or if it happens again. Either way, I thought it was handy to know in a pinch, so I'm sharing it with you. Also, I've done that too, where I accidentally don't select all the pieces before welding or moving it around in silhouette studio. Nice job all in all! I might convert mine to eco solvent ink. I just picked up a used one today from Craigslist. Can you share what you like about it compared to sublimation?
Thanks for sharing helpful tips. I like the fact that eco solvent can be used on colored shirts. Sublimation not so much. I love sublimation though Jane.
@@That2ThisCreations I really like sublimation too. Thanks for your reply. ❤️
awesome video 💕
Thank you @Lilys Simple Creations 🥰
Who said that you have to have a neck to look nice. 😂 Wow..turned out great with such beautiful colors!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 "neckless" lol...thank you Paula 🥰
Nice job Darika, I like it I am new to eco solvent and has issues getting it to stick to the stick paper, thanks for sharing
You'u
You're so welcome Crafting away...I believe it's going to be an exciting journey with ecosolvent. Way better than layering vinyl I believe.
@@That2ThisCreations Yes, can't wait to see more from you
It came out nice
Thank you Cheryl 🥰
Looks good thanks good video
Thank you Jessie 🥰
beautiful
Thank you @CHARMane 🥰
I am so glad that I saw this video. I have this printer in my basement because I gave up on sublimation. My printer heads kept clogging. Is clogging an issue with this method?
You have to make sure you print something everyday with it or it will clog Andrea. Even if you have to print on copy paper. Print something. Glad I could help. Thanks for watching.
I am so glad I came across your video,I have epson ecotank 15000 already converted to sublimation printer,I have only used it few times, can I still convert it to an eco solvent printer?.it’s just sitting there doing nothing.Thank you
Yes you can if you can get that sublimation ink out it may be some videos on RUclips that will show you how. Thank you 3ripleD
👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾 great job!
Thank you @allaina t!🥰
Thanks for making this video. I have a 7720 that has sublimation ink. How did you run the old ink out of your printer? Thanks so much.
Kristen I just put in a brand new set of cartridges with ecosolvent ink in them and printed like 4 pages of prints and the pigment ink was gone. I did that when I changed my 7720 from a sublimation printer to a pigment ink printer. Hope this helps. You're welcome.
What are your printer settings because those colors are everything! Also did you get the silhouette settings figured out? I’m about to covert my 7720 and buy me a silhouette all because of you! Thanks for the tutorial and the laughs🤣😂🤣
LaShay I print on Premium Presentation Matte....I haven't printed another print yet, I will tomorrow maybe and can let you know about the silhouette settings I find to use. Someone suggested using the iron on setting, I will try that one first. You're going to love the silhouette. Thank you for watching and remember to print something everyday to help prevent clogs.
Hello Madam, thank you for the video,it's a great video, however the website for the vynil says it's not for desktop printers, how can I use it for my wf7720? Thank you
Hello, You can still use it for the 7720.
You funny black queen you don't feel like looking for you tools ... 🤣to get the bubbles out... plus no neck this a funny tutorial😆🤣😂I still like it peace soul and happiness
Lol!! I know right, too funny...I tried though...she can't breathe without that neck...thank you for watching and supporting King Anthony!!
She busting 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
For show...Bussing!! Thank you for watching TeamSwint Customs LLC...
Hi, Can you explain how to convert the 7720 if you already been using regular pigment ink? I been using mines as a regular printer, I'm thinking I can just buy a cheaper epson for regular printing and convert my 7720 for eco solvent. Do you use new cartridges? How would you flush the pigment ink out? I've been looking for a detailed video on that process but haven't came across one yet. Love your video, I have liked and subscribed.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, we all appreciate it.
Hello Monique, you basically just get a brand new set of cartridges. Fill them with ecosolvent ink. Put them in your printer and print about 3-4 colorful prints of choice on regular paper. By then your pigment ink should be out the line. Just make sure your print something everyday afterwards or it will clog and not work. Hope this helps.
Hello, great tutorial. I'd like to know if an eco tank can be converted? If so ,do you know which model? Thank You
Yes any model Epson Eco Tank should work as long as it had CYMK ink channels
Hello beautiful! Great video. Do you think I could use an Epson Workforce 2850 for eco solvent printing?
Yes! I have 2850 converted to eco
Hello, did you have problem with printhead clogging? I'm using eco solvent ink on the same printer (WF7720) but seems like these inks damaged the entire printhead.
It worked fine when I was using the 7720...now I switched to Eco Tank...I hate cartridges.
The link you posted for the vinyl is for 14.5 wide and higher. Did you have to cut it down to fit the printer?
Yes I cut it down Keyanda.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
hey i got mine for sublimation, to convert it for Eco Solvent do i have to clean the print head before insert the Eco Solvent Cartridges or just insert it? TIA
You can run a cleaning after you change the cartridges if you would like. Thats what I did Victor.
I have a question, can Eco Solvent Ink (Water Based) print on glossy paper with water resistance, and is there white ink? Is it possible to print on a PVC sticker?
Mohammed I haven't tried to print on anything besides the color print easy from @Heat Transfer Warehouse. To be honest I'm not sure about the PVC sticker. I will try to find out though.
Awesome
Thank you @Evester Sutton
@@That2ThisCreations I converted my 7720 last month but having a problem printing on the right side and getting my registration Marks to read for the cameo 4 😂
But everything looks great colors are vibrant.
Thank you Blaquerose Experience-Houston.
I have a convertered ep 15000..What other projects, types of printable vinyl is everyone doing ,besides heat transfers?
Eco Solvent or sublimation conversion Jamie?
@@That2ThisCreations eco solvent..eco rush water based ink
How do you make your colors not look so muted? My colors come out a little dull and sometimes even a whole different color on my 7720
Print out a color chart on the ecosolvent film and them press it onto a shirt to help choose the color you are trying to get.
Heat Transfer says not for desk top printers will it still work?
Heads up! I started having issues with the ink and printer. I dont use it anymore.
Hello how are you doing? I would love to now which ink do you use for your eco-solvent?
Hello, honestly I got rid of that printer. It started to give me issues. I no longer recommend using it for ecosolvent printing. An Ecotank may work better for you.
@@That2ThisCreations So what printer do you use if you don't mind me asking
If I have converted my Epson WF-7710 to sublimation, can it be converted to ECO- Solvent?
Yes, mine was sublimation at first.
Hello where can I get the refillable cartridges ? Do you have a link by chance ?
Hello lowkey_kyah here is the link www.inkpro2day.com/4-refillable-cartridges-epson-workforce-wf-7210-wf-7710-wf-7720/
can use this ink for normal vinyl for making sticker ???
I'm not sure about that Jaber. If I had some I sure would test it to see. It won't hurt to try. If you happen to test it out let me know.
When printer your image what size is it going to come out the glossy are matted side, I placed my vinyl in glossy side up ,, and I do have the epson 7720 helpppp please I have messed up a lot of my vinyl
Place your vinyl in your printer with the glossy side face up. When the print comes out the printer the image should printed on the matte side.
@@That2ThisCreations that what I did I watch your video over several times, plus I keep getting paper jam. Thanks I will try again
Do you have the Siser Color Print Easy Vinyl?
@@That2ThisCreations yes
I have the sheets and mask
How do you like the silhouette? This cricut print size is annoying me I been eyeing the silhouette pro
I love the silhouette, I want to get the bigger one also Kash!!
@@That2ThisCreations yesss I’ve been looking at it so long I think I’m going to do it 😩
How do you put the ink in the cartridges please?
I use refillable cartridges Becci.
For the face think the white part was suppose to be weeded out. The neck was right the white part comes away.
Thank you, will keep that in mind next time Blaquerose Experience Houston.
hi
can i use eco solvent ink with my epson wf c5290 ?
I'm not sure about that printer. However I have sinced switched to ecotank. That one started giving me issues.
what kind of issues?@@That2ThisCreations
Can I do it with wf7840
I'm pretty sure you could Bossy Space..They are basically almost the same printers.
I also have pigmemt ink. Is eco solvent better thank pigment ink?
I like both, I think pigment ink is more vibrant to me though Beth.
Pigment ink is more vibrant to me but I like both beth corner.
@@That2ThisCreations what cleaning solution u use for eco solvent? Some uses alcohol and distilled water
@@That2ThisCreations i want to use the ecosolvent printer for printing stickers and decals. I already have a dtf printer for shirts

Hello...Thank you...Yes, you would just be limited on the size of your prints Andrea.
