Hello my friend you have done it again those fish cakes looked delicious I'm going to make them has we do like fish cakes thanks for the recipe the prawns wow bestwishes from Swansea South Wales
They look banging 👍👍 plenty filling , I would have lemon in with the sage , I’m not a sage lover but if I use it it has to be fresh , I don’t really like the flavour of most dried herbs . They did look great and with the salad a delicious meal 👍
I remember my Mom making fish cakes like that.American fish cakes don’t have potatoes, they have breadcrumbs, onion, green peppers, and eggs, then dipped as you did.Served with Tatar sauce.I make mine with the potatoes, and tinned salmon,I eat fresh fish just sautéed.Good night 😊
Hope you enjoy them, we used to make them as kids growing up always had fresh fish my dad had a small boat on the east Yorkshire coast at a place called Hornsea, used to catch and eat same day, happy memories 😊
Love how you made these, but I have to say you could save the poaching liquor for parsley sauce , then I seen why you had salad , and I would put parsley in mine 😊
Love fish cakes, used to make some Slimming World ones that were basically salmon, prawns, spring onions and an egg to bind, I'd add some chilli to taste and then you could just fry them in Fry Light, they were so tasty and no potatoes or bread crumbs, just tasty fish. My bestie is a massive fish cake fan and when we go out for a meal if there are fish cakes on the menu, she'll have them lol. Thanks for another good vid Ian :)
Like watching you both cook but something that makes my nerves on end is the way you both leave the handles of pans sticking out, very dangerous just a slight catch on your clothes and you have boiling water or food all down you, please take care and turn the handle sideways.x
Can't believe he threw away the poaching milk - would have made a beautiful parsley sauce- even if he didn't want the sauce he could have frozen it 😢 and why oh why does he have to vigorously bang every utensil against the side of the pot - sooo over the top his wife does the same 😖😖
Love these when i am on a Shift
These look lovely 😜
Thank you 😋

Thay look banging mate 👍🍻
Thanks 👍 they were lush 👌
Our kids will only be able to do this when they buy everything ready made from Lidl and use a microwave…..
Soft on the inside.... Crunchy on the outside..... Armadillo 🤣 Bet they were lovely bro, right up my street them... nice. 😘
😂
Maybe use your liquor and make a parsley sauce
Not keen on parsley sauce 😊
Oooh we have blue cheese and yogurt in the refrigerator right now, I’ll have a go at that dressing - is it roughly a 50:50 ratio?
Yes 👍
They look delicious, do you have to cook them straight away after crumbing or can you leave in the fridge for a while?
I would cook them straight away once you have crumbed them as they will go soft in the fridge
Hello i am here from your mrs channel
Hi and welcome thanks for subscribing 😊
Could you have used poaching liquid to make a parsley sauce
Probably but Im not over keen on it 😊

Thank you I will try lol 😂
Which oil did you use. Xx
