- Comedian (and athlete) Tom Segura broke his arm and ruptured his patellar tendon during a failed dunk attempt. As he went up for the dunk, his knee gave out from the ruptured tendon and then as he landed on his arm he broke the humerus in a truly unfortunate and wild sequence of events. With the help of Bert Kreischer setting his arm back in place, Seruga is on his way to recovery.

Can you make a video talking about the combat sport from Burma that the rules are borderline bare knuckle because the cloth they have over their hand are not that sturdy.You have to knock a person down at least four times in one round in order to win and if that doesn't happen even if you beat the person the entire time it's a draw so you can only win by KO. Lastly if you knock somebody out and it's within the four times they've been dropped the corner has two minutes to revive them they can do this up to twice in a match. I just want to know your thoughts on the health problems that they will be going through by being in that type of sport.

If he had only landed on the knee, it would have probably gotten amputated. He was smart, to spread out the injuries across multiple limbs. He should have finished stopping the fall with his neck

You can be an elite athlete and if you've never tried to dunk before you could fail miserably, just ask UFC fighter Jon Jones. Jon Jones is 6'4" with long arms and super athletic, you'd think he'd dunk with ease even if he never tried it before. But no he almost injured himself and the 🏀 hits him in the head and he falls down.

My son was an army ranger. One day he got to watch Delta force train in the field. One Delta force member fell 50 foot out of a tree and broke his arm. It had bone sticking out and he wouldn't let medics take him in the ambulance until he finished field stripping and cleaning his weapon. Now that was a true man in my book dedicated to the oath he took.
Right now there is a man in China with a podcast, replaying the video to every guest that comes on and laughing manically.

This is definitely by far the funniest thing Tom Segura has ever done
This one hits home, me turning 40, being overweight, and playing rec leagues and the way I play, helps me put things into perspective and deciding not to play anymore, time to hang up the kicks. It was a good 28 years, lot of trophies, game winners, miles and miles and injuries. It was a good run, hopefully Tom heals properly and gets to live a normal life going on.
I don’t know what a rec league means, but the doctor said Tom’s tendon is unused to the loaded stress, as in use it or lose it. So your probably fine if you conditioned yourself

I’ve torn both of my patellar tendons 9 years apart but never with a broken arm. I could not imagine having to compensate for moving to the bathroom. His first big victory will be to shower in comfort and without fear of slipping. I just remember feeling vulnerable with out the knee imobilizer on

I tore my patella tendon October 2016on a dunk attempt. I had just had large doses of cortisone 4 shots in the glute and packs of methylprednislone in like 14 days for poison ivy. If you get a cortisone shot dont do anything explosive. The rehab was real tough and I couldn't walk until late February. I can get up to nearly dunk again and am pain free thank god. Alot of hard work and constant rehabbing all since 2016.
