What fantastic questions! And such sweet baby noises 😊 My favourite audio so far this year is How To Say Babylon by Safiya Sinclair, it's amazing, she reads it beautifully. I'm excited about Familiaris by David Wroblewski, the sequel to the girl with the louding voice, the new Anna James middle grade series and the new Sally Rooney 😊 x
Pterodactyl screeching baby in the background is the loveliest sound!! (to me, haha, i guess from up close the volume is a different story) I'm melting!!
Not me finding out after reading both The Mother and The Dream House that Richard Armitage narrates them!!! I've enjoyed going back into crime/mystery/thriller books through your recommendations. I had been in quite an extended reading slump but they've really got me excited about reading again! So thank you! And loved hearing your happy daughter ❤
Always enjoy your vlogs. I especially enjoy your discussion about children's books. Wish you could do an entire vlog about children's books. Your little one's squeals are always welcome!
Lovely to see your face! I just finished reading Antarctica and I think maybe Claire Keegan isn’t for me. It’s the third of hers I’ve read and they seem to shoot entirely over my head and out into space… I duno what that’s about 😂
I also didn't really like The Factory, but loved Weasels in the Attic. Personally I thought The Hole was more similar to Weasels in the Attic so hopefully you like it!
Can’t wait for when your little one is old enough to get you to read the same (initially cute) soporific books over and over. Can you count every time? 😂
Love catching up with your videos. If you are looking for a good crime series you should check out the Washington Poe series by M.W Craven. I love the characters xx
The videos are still there, if you want to watch them. We chat in the comments section, rather than chatting in realtime, so you can catch up whenever :) x
An update from Jen is a complete delight! Also I'm deaf and read your captions, thank you for your work making your content accessible!
Thanks for being here ☺ x
Congratulations on the little precious one! 🥰💋 we can hear her, but don’t apologize. It is sweet 💜🥰
I really missed your videos. There's no one quite like you! 😊
Foster made me absolutly sob! and don't worry about happy baby sounds, they are lovely!
Hi Jen,
It's lovely to see you and listen to you talking about books ❤
It makes me so happy to hear you talk about your daughter!
Take care

I do plan to do a picture book recommendation video at some point this year, as it's been a long time since I've done one of those. x
Lovely to have you back, Jen. I’m adding a few more books to my TBR so thank you. 😄💙

I’m so excited for the new Jacqueline Wilson book ❤
Fingers crossed we love it! x
Woohoo! I've been anticipating this like the new House of the Dragon season! Probably more actually. :D

Foster made me cry also
Good to see you Jen, excited to hear Sarah Moss and Evie Wyld have new books coming out. Hello to your little one!

Would be interesting to know if I'd still love her short stories as much if I read them for the first time now! x
Great video Jen
I love The Hole so much, just go in knowing that it's super super weird lol
Always here for weird! x
I loved Forrester

I thought you had some weird birds in the background. Or my dryer was on the way out down in the cellar 😆
I mean... fair, ha. x

Hi Jen! Did you ever read the Moomin books you bought? And did you talk about them on here? Thanks!
I read a couple in a reading vlog, autumn 2022. Will try to link.
I think this is one of the vlogs m.ruclips.net/video/6QJBk6D_IvE/видео.html
@@jenvcampbell Thank you so much!
Loved this catchup!
I missed the Book of Strange New Things book club, but I might still try to read it this year, I'm sure I would love it

@@jenvcampbell that’s true, I will! x
I would like to recommend you the best book I've read this year so far - "Bewilderment" by Richard Powers. I'm sure you may love it :)
Would be cool to see your spreadsheets if its not to personal. :D
It's nothing fancy at all - no formula or anything, just a list of things!
