Holy crap man!!! Your stuff is always awesome!!! This video blew me away, it is so well done from every aspect its hard to believe it this isn't a high dollar professional film. I can't say enough good things... thank you!
just watched this again with my four kids, they laughed most when you fell in the water, shouted at the front door and cuddled the box, so once again great video :-)
I'm glad you enjoyed it. For every clip in this vid, there was a totally different lighting set up, and a minimum of ten takes. It took forever. For just the clips I used, the hard drive space totals over 300 gigs.
I was thinking just last night that you hadn't uploaded in a while. It was well worth the wait, well done!....Now I'm SO gonna be singing that track all day now...the Chrome came back, la lala lalaaaaa...
Thanks for the tip. I even have a friend who does huge fireworks displays, but I wasn't able to get ahold of him before the day I shot this, so I improvised. I think it just makes it look even sillier. But that's me.
Wow I'm flattered. I'm very happy you enjoyed it so much. After a while I started to lose objectivity with it. At the time of upload I had no idea if it was good or if it sucked. Haha
I made sure to dry it out thoroughly each time which made a big difference. The pond itself was also not stagnant water, and it was unbelievably cold, so nothing was growing in it yet. After I knew I wasn't going back in, I took the pads out of my helmet and washed them very well. Then put everything back together and my helmet was cleaner than it has ever been.
Thanks man! It was fun doing this one. Even though I had to throw myself into a pond that was JUST barely above freezing about 9 times to get the various shots and angles etc.
This video really made my day. Very good storyline, very good editing, and the humor was just off the notch! I showed this video to my friends, and they laughed through the whole thing. ROKKIT44, do not stop making videos on RUclips! :-)
purely amazing man. :) Well done. that's quite a lot of time and work to put into a production! Loved all of the scenes, especially the dynamite scene :P I was like "This is badass..." :P
Thanks for the compliment. I like to think we all inspire one another. Being that almost all of us do this for the love of it and those who do get paid, get very little, it shouldn't be a competition. I prefer to think of it all as a collaboration on a global scale.
Nicely done!.! The editing reminds me of the Evil Dead trilogy. Especially at 4:34 when you grab the hammer, which seems to be contrasting when Bruce Campbell was fighting his hand.
I definitely did swim in it. I wouldn't recommend doing it often, but the helmet is mostly foam and fibre glass. I did however take the pads out and wash them when I was done.
Thank you 808! Hopefully people don't think of this stuff as a competition. It's all about collaboration. If it wasn't for DarkflightHD's vid I wouldn't have had this idea. And if it wasn't for Dafobra, this whole mirror saga wouldn't exist. And so on and so on. Each one of us stands on the shoulders of those before us. Okay, that's too deep for a Tuesday morning. Lol
Frickin Hilarious! Awesome job putting it together too! I laughed so hard milk came outta my nose and I wasn't even drinking any! hahahahaha!!! Well worth the wait :))))
++Liked ++Favorited ++Shared Excellent production Rokkit! I can only imagine how long this took to take from concept to completion. Very, very nice work sire ; ) Physical comedy = Spot on Creativity = solid Sound design = juicy and perfectly mixed Camera work = booyah! PS: nice mirror, I might have to get one for Athena ; )
Wow, that was weird, but really cool!! That editing and filming must have taken hours and hours! I have been going through your videos and really enjoying them!
Helmets are easy to dry out and leather can be protected. The tough part was falling into water that was only just above freezing. And then doing it 8 times.
absolutely brilliant :-) do much effort must have gone into that video, I can't imagine how long it must have taken to make, so talented, pure brilliance :-)
Actually it was 8 times over three separate occasions. The water was barely above freezing. But I had fun. A woman and her child were watching one of those times. The mother thought it was awesome. When her kid in the stroller was concerned, she said to him, "It's okay sweetie, he's being safe. He has a helmet," I laughed so hard after she left.
Thank you! As for process, I use Final Cut Pro X. Sound effects in it are pretty extensive, but I also found a few online and when I couldn't find what I was looking for I just made my own and recorded them on a mic. Hope that helps.
lol that was awesome! My mini me (he is 7) and I were watching this and he kept asking questions like "is that chrome really bad?" and "why is he running?" :D Nicely done by everyone involved :)
I hear ya @@ROKKIT44 . It was a lot of fun in the old days for sure, heck we could even get away with a little licensed music in your vids from time to time. I haven't watched a moto vlogger now regularly since 2013/2014 I'd say. Us gen 2 moto-vloggers we a great bunch! All the best man, make a video from time to time and I'll be sure to have a watch!
HAHAHA!!! Straight up hilarity! So much time and effort! This has got to be, hands down, the best video of the worst fake piece of chrome/plastic ever made. LOL. One of the best vids period! This better go in your portfolio for being a Hollywood film director. Michael Bay ain't got nuthin' on this! I feel for you and this song. I've been singing it all morning. You've got my whole household walking around singing it. Probably households around the world! That damn song!!!! lol. Simply awesome.
I was wondering about that. If you waited till there was no people around or if you had an audience. All the effects messed so well together from the stop animation to the green screen and even the little sound FX like hitting the floor. Magic in deed is what was achieved
I didn't need to storyboard anything as it was just me doing the shooting. I had what I wanted it to look like in my in excruciating detail. But I DID write out a super long shot-list to make sure I didn't miss anything when oot and aboot. Thank you for your thoughtful comment. I really appreciate it.
I started with the original and sliced it up, sang the lyrics in different voices and layered them all in with it. Every time the original said "cat" or "Mr. Johnson", I dipped the music and hid it under more of my version. It probably would have been easier to just get a few friends over and record it from scratch. But I wanted to spoof the original as close as possible. Anyway, I have A LOT to learn on the audio side, that's for sure.
Truly Hilarious Video! So Cartoon like...Ha Ha. I love the sound effects in the background, For example at beginning when he collects the package at the front door...That scene is so very freaking funny! Care to share what the recording process was....video editor, sounds...etc?
I sure did jump in. I was very careful to dry them out thoroughly each time. The water was so cold at that time, that even though it was a pond, the water was super clean. So that helped a lot.
Hay I really liked your small movie, story and plot was well taught out, kept me engaged till the end, did you storyboard or sketch the shots you wanted, I liked the shooting style and stop motion The multiple camera shots worked well to tell the story and keep it moving, the music and sound effects worked well to keep the comic element I also watch it without audio and it flowed very well I had no problem following the plot and what was going on..Very well done and I want to see more.
Holy crap man!!! Your stuff is always awesome!!! This video blew me away, it is so well done from every aspect its hard to believe it this isn't a high dollar professional film. I can't say enough good things...
thank you!
WOW, amazing. One of the BEST directed, produced & edited clip EVER.
Amazing work!
just watched this again with my four kids, they laughed most when you fell in the water, shouted at the front door and cuddled the box, so once again great video :-)
A studio would be fun... but expensive. Thank you to you and your wife for helping inspire this story.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. For every clip in this vid, there was a totally different lighting set up, and a minimum of ten takes. It took forever. For just the clips I used, the hard drive space totals over 300 gigs.

Thanks for stopping by Chad. Glad you enjoyed it.
You know for a minuet there I thought I watched a man being chased my a mirror! I must be seeing things! Lol outstanding video!
Loving the journey's of the 2 mirrors. These are getting better and better each and every time.
Wow you did an awesome job with this video. These chrome video's just keep getting better and better!!
the time you put into these vids really shows through the end product's quality. Really well done! I gotta step up my motovlogging game now !
Thanks for the tip. I even have a friend who does huge fireworks displays, but I wasn't able to get ahold of him before the day I shot this, so I improvised. I think it just makes it look even sillier. But that's me.
Oh that was so Road runner / Coyote. Loved it. Nothing like starting your day with a great belly laugh. Well done my friend well done
Wow I'm flattered. I'm very happy you enjoyed it so much. After a while I started to lose objectivity with it. At the time of upload I had no idea if it was good or if it sucked. Haha
Dang you are good! As someone who vlogs I understand the time this took and the talent you have. Well done! My Family and I loved it.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was really hard to "emote" without facial expressions.
Man that funny. I appreciate the imagination, talent and production skills a video like this takes.
Thanks man! It was fun doing this one. Even though I had to throw myself into a pond that was JUST barely above freezing about 9 times to get the various shots and angles etc.

hey that was alot of fun man, i think your taking this motovlogging to another level. thank you sir for the fun!
The skills of you are insane in video editing, telling te story, just the whole package

It's a great idea that was started. I think the only thing that will slow it down is when the mirror runs out of room for signatures.
Really enjoying following this chrome mirror around on RUclips! lol Awesome stuff!
Holy crap dude, absolutely amazing....first live video motovlogger cartoon ever! =)
holy crap, raised the bar once again, and also inspired me for another video! =] congrats, it was brilliant, and thanks!
Nicely done!.! The editing reminds me of the Evil Dead trilogy. Especially at 4:34 when you grab the hammer, which seems to be contrasting when Bruce Campbell was fighting his hand.
Your videos are great. Always amusing to watch, and exceptionally well done. Keep it up!
Absolutely awesome video from you again, you never fail to deliver!
Thank you sir. Four kids?! You must be breeding an army! Way ta go!
You sir, are by far the best videographer of this motovlogging community...Bravo! Excellent work!! =)
A pleasure as always watching your vids, the edits are always wild.
Very Funny! I can't believe you jumped in the water full gear! Not once but twice!!! Thanks for the Laughs!
Thank you! It means a lot to hear that. I keep pushing myself to try things that challenge what I know how to do.
Thank you very much man! I love your work so it's always a treat to see your thoughts on something I've done. Aloha.
Bean was one of my favorite physical comedy actors. That guy is a genius.
I love how this story keeps building. Cant wait to see where it goes next!
All your videos are great but I'm especially digging your commitment to this one!
this was great, excellent editing and audio was spot on. bravo rokkit, bravo.
Merci! It was a lot of work, but I had a blast filming it.
I definitely did swim in it. I wouldn't recommend doing it often, but the helmet is mostly foam and fibre glass. I did however take the pads out and wash them when I was done.

That was a freakin' masterpiece. Great job, man.
Well it was a lot of work but I had fun. Thanks for both the sub AND the comment.
Glad to have ya back man!
I'm glad you did! Keep your eye out for something in the next month or so.
*Stands and Applauds* Sooooo much fun that was to watch!
absolutely brilliant :-) do much effort must have gone into that video, I can't imagine how long it must have taken to make, so talented, pure brilliance :-)
Not everyone gets this sense of humor. Glad you got it.

Probably the greatest motorcycle related video on the platform :D
Ha! Well it was a lot of fun to make.
It kinda felt like I had been working on it since then. Thank you for your comment.
Haha. Thanks man! It's so much easier to find what you're looking for when it's organized.
That just made my day...now I hope I never have a chrome mirror show up at my door step.
This should be entered into some kind of short film comp. It's great.
lol that was awesome! My mini me (he is 7) and I were watching this and he kept asking questions like "is that chrome really bad?" and "why is he running?" :D
Nicely done by everyone involved :)
Just watched this today in a fit of nostalgia. This was so great dude. I hope you're doing well! Cheers! -NLRider1979 /2012
Hey! Still kickin'. It was a fun video to make. I must admit, I miss the old yt where it was more about the community than the algorithm. Oh well.

This would make an excellent PBS kids short. :p Also, great vid! Amazing work on editing and production.

I figured I'd leave that up in the air and not spoil the surprise until the flick was done. Thank you.
The music was definitely one of the more challenging parts of this project.
Well we're glad to have you join the ROKKIT Nation. I'll do my best to keep it up.
It was fun learning how to make it. But I doubt I will ever make a video where I have to run in motorcycle gear.
It's been a busy time in my life. I have been doing a few things on the side that should come out sooner than later. Stay tuned bro!
I was wondering about that. If you waited till there was no people around or if you had an audience. All the effects messed so well together from the stop animation to the green screen and even the little sound FX like hitting the floor.

That is a perfect depiction of the story! Poor Ryan, and poor any one else who is to be the victim of this chrome!
Props for jumping in the water with all your gear on....I would hate doing that :) Great Video!
lol that was awesome. just made my morning worthwhile. Great job!
Awesome stuff dude!!! This is the 1st vid of yours I've seen. Instant sub. Now to spend a few hours going through your other stuff. Xp
I started with the original and sliced it up, sang the lyrics in different voices and layered them all in with it. Well thats good was worried for a min!
Cannot choose words that explain how frikin unbelievable this video is!

It was a riot making. thanks!

Great, now I got that song stuck in my head!........ LOVED IT
That has to be the A-#1 funniest thing that I have seen in a long time!!
Wow dude, very impressed, hilarious stuff, and you wrote your own song for it :o job well done :)
I sure did jump in. I was very careful to dry them out thoroughly each time. The water was so cold at that time, that even though it was a pond, the water was super clean. So that helped a lot.
I do what I can my friend. Thanks for your support.
wow dedication; you went into the water with your helmet and leather. props to you!
Thanks man! Life sometimes gets in the way of yt. Took a little break and before I knew it, the summer was over.
ROFL! I wish I had 10% of your creativity. Awesome video.
Happy to have you watch my friend.
