Great points. You should do another video about taking a passenger as a rider. Include points like setting up suspension for the extra load, max weight of the bike, braking distance, practice smooth braking so not to jerk the passenger around. Etc
whoamiuk1 Yeah, these are all of the basic tips I have used for years with any passenger. I even quiz them before they get on. If they miss anything important, I walk them through what they missed until they understand. It may seem pedantic, but I take my passenger’s safety seriously. As discussed in the video, sometimes their safety relies on things they do. So they need to know those parts well.
I do my best. Unfortunately you don’t give me enough of your money, so I have to spend some of my time working on things other than RUclips videos. Lol.
As a beginner passenger, I've been watching videos for a few days now and this is the most succinct one I have come across, so thank you.
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Finally, a video that explained things in common terms and not rider terminology.
Crystal clear communication is something I do on the daily. I’m glad you found it helpful.
Another masterpiece. You kill everything you do .
Motorcycle Zeal You’re too kind, my friend.
Great stuff! Headsets really help teach people how to ride pillion as you can talk to them, also fun! 😁
Totally! I always use a headset with a passenger. That said, this list was meant for the absolute minimum a passenger needs.
Jake Kirk ummm because he and I are buds. So... yeah. (namedrop with a mic drop)

Lol. Wonderful video. I just recommend passengers to act like a sack of potatoes. Seems to work alright 😁
flamebeard10339 Ha! As long as they’re tied down properly, that can work.
At 3:53 I lost it and had to pause for a minute.
Ha! Yeah, that still gets me.
Why dont you release videos regularly? I always expect so.

Why get on and off from the left side?
Here’s the best answer I could find. www.quora.com/Why-do-people-always-get-on-or-off-their-motorcycles-or-bicycles-mostly-from-the-left
The answer with the knights was pretty interesting.
