Archer Aviation ($ACHR) Signs $142 Million Contract to Deliver Six eVTOL Midnight Aircrafts

Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR), a leading producer of electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, has expanded its partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense through new contracts worth up to $142 million with the U.S. Air Force.
The Department of Defense recognizes the transformative potential of Archer's eVTOL aircraft for military purposes. This contract includes delivering up to six Midnight aircraft, sharing flight test data, pilot training, and developing maintenance operations. The aircraft offer advantages in rapid response, agility, and cost-effectiveness for various missions. Archer also formed a Government Services Advisory Board to engage with U.S. government agencies for commercializing its eVTOL aircraft.
Adam Goldstein, Archer’s Founder and CEO stated: “This historic agreement reflects the steadfast commitment by our Armed Forces to embrace the cutting-edge technology our eVTOL aircraft offer.”
