    Heidi: Thanking you for the tour of your garden. Your sun patients are striking and if I was in the market for any flower to add an awesome border to my garden this is the flower! Really like your Miss Molly Butterfly Bush,Firelight Hydrangeas along with Milkweed. Also Proud Berry adds alot of unique interest to the garden and would stop and look at this shrub if I were visiting a garden center. The sedum are looking good and I have had them in another garden we had but might plant them again as they are a good performer.

    Hi Heidi 👋 Your gardens look absolutely GORGEOUS! I am loving the Wigilia, Peruvian Lillies, and the Phlox, and am wondering how they will grow here in zone 9b Texas Gulf Coast, pretty much full sun very hot and humid?🤔 🥵 I do grow Hibiscus and I have a PW Blue Chiffon Rose of Sharon. My daughter got me a mix of Sunpatiens basket this year, I am really interested in trying the PW brand this next Spring. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful garden with us.

    • @gardencrossings
      @gardencrossings  26 дней назад

      The weigela and the phlox are hardy up to zone 8, you may be a bit too warm with not enough of a cool spell for them. The Peruvian Lilies should be ok in your zone.

    Heidi, really enjoyed this video. Do you think it was very difficult to get the Fire Light hydrangea to be sturdy and full? I have one of the Fire Lights and the flowers have not been very large and the plant doesn't seem very strong. Thank you for the late summer garden tour!

    • @gardencrossings
      @gardencrossings  19 дней назад

      It take a few years for it to get mature and strong. Usually i say 3 years. We do trim by about 1/3 every year and then every 3-4 years we trim more drastically.
