Is it true there is a new version of this bike? So you can’t unlock it? And the throttle only people’s at 4mph? Did you get it from the actual engwe uk website?

@Cryptogames16 I bought mine end.of last year. I have a review in the engine X on here. Mine unlocks and does 27mph. Throttle can easily be turned on too 🙂

Should of got the vitilan 17pro, probably the best quality fat tire folding bike for the price

@LJ2K2025 I'm not really sure about your claim. I mean it's not actually a direct rival to rhe Engine X. As it is £250 more expensive. It's £300 more then the Ep2 pro. It seems it was a rival to the Engine pro but the Engine pro is £50 cheaper rrp. Although the I7 pro has a bigger ah battery.
I'm not sure why you say the best quality as doesn't look like it's built any different. Like sane design really. So what is it that makes you feel its better quality?
Personally new used one so don't know, but couldn't recommend the I7 pro for purchase as just like the Engine pro, the motors make them illegal to use on public land in the UK 🙂

@noob-ebike-guy they're all illegal really, most the "250" Watts are actually more and unrestricted go over 25 mph, and everybody unlocks the throttle even though its illegal, most placrs the police don't care, so if I'm gonna spend over a grand for a bike i want 1 that atleast has the capability of going over 30mph with pedal assist and something powerful enough to fly up hills, 250 Watts don't cut it and being slower on the road is more dangerous than faster, as for vitilan I7 pro I'd say its most comparable with the Engine pro, but it's just faster and better in my opinion

@LJ2K2025 sounds the same speed to me lol. I get what you're saying, but I'm not responsible for knowing anything. Like Engwe say my Engine X is 250w. Very unlikely it isn't but I can physically show it's legal and the police would have to prove Engine lied. But yours they can legally just take. The going faster argument doesn't apply because legally you're only allowed to do 15.5mph. So again if mine was unrestricted it wouldn't be road legal. I k ow mine will do 27mph unlocked. 🙂

@noob-ebike-guy I've seen many reviews and comparisons and the vitilan is more torque, good for hills especially compared to all others in the same class and price range, as for legality, the police aren't gonna stop you unless you're riding reckless, if you're wearing a helmet and pedal at normal speed when they're there, they shouldn't bother you and if they try stop you, the speed helps getting away 😂

@LJ2K2025 I just feel that it just take one officer in a bad mood on the wrong day and your £1000+ ebike is gone. Then there is points on licence and a fine. O don't like putting my trust in not bumping into that officer. I mean on all honesty I posted my rife along 3 video, about how I completely disagree with the ebike rules. Personally opinion wise we seem similar. I mean who are you hurting rideming at 30mph (if the road is a 30? If you are sober and in control then it's not really unsafe.
Definitely agree 80nm torque is far more helpful. The 20ah battery too (rather then 16ah on the engine pro) 🙂
