It's helpful but I would really appreciate more of a real-life example. Not sure I'm understanding what a manager and an agent are in a real-life situation. Otherwise, it was greatly explained.
Manager is an actual computer(PC/Workstation) in charge of keeping track of netwrok devices (AGents) AGents are routers, switches, hubs etc that are made by cisco only.

Yes
Snmp manager : Orion (manager app)
Snmp agents : Devices (routers switches etc) also called as nodes
