You do realize that summer has been particularly mild the past few years of La Nina? El Nino will bring colder drier winters and hotter drier summers. Next summer will likely have as many August days when the temperature hits 100°F as is typical.

You cover the country the best with provide me with weather predictions in my area, though you dont do any specific local, which lets me know what i can expect as to weather. Yes!!! Cool temps in upstate SC I am ready to not sweat I hate to sweat , I live in call town called Cowpens SC an I can’t wait an I hope we get at least 2 snow flurry’s this winter an not any ice that can damage stuff but 2 or 3 snow flakes lol ❤
I believe in 93 we had a really great Indian summer at the end of October and decided to cut hay. No November 3 we baled some of the nicest green hay. On November 4 at 4:00am we were getting the cows in for milking with their backs covered in snow. Got 6 inches.
I cant remember a time in the past I dont know 6-7 years, if not 10yrs, where Pennsylvania has had temps forecasted to be below average in the 70s and low 80s for most of August. August is usually one of the most hot and humid months of summer. So I agree this is different and Im not complaining, because weve been very hot the entire summer with heat waves lasting over a week instead of 3-4 days. But it is odd. Hoping nothing changes anytime soon!

Thanks for your service. If you see this the Weather down here in the south-central part about 1 mile east of phenix city AL the Temperatures have been in the 70s to the low 70s at night. Kind of hot in the day. But not too humid, but it is getting cooler way down here already last few days.
Cool temps are welcome September onward. Hopefully it doesn't go from 80F to snow like its done before. I like to see the gradual change in seasons and fall is my favorite to experience.

Central NJ. I always try to put the play doh away immediately after the grandkids leave, or it dries out. I accidentally forgot last week,windows open, jungle humidity. It sat out overnight and was perfectly soft and pliable in the morning. I was amazed.
