- The Baker family is pretty much synonymous with Resident Evil 7. Though Ethan Winters served as the game's protagonist, though the Molded and Eveline were the primary antagonists, and though there were plenty of typical Resident Evil shadowy corporate dealings going on in the story behind the scenes, the Bakers were, without the shadow of a doubt, the stars of the show.

And as a story unfolds it's crazy to find out that the Baker family were innocent people.

Man I felt so bad for Jack and his family after first seeing that scene. They had their lives stolen from them.

I think Eveline really wanted a family but since she wasn't completely human she didn't how things worked or ever witnessed how they worked,taking everything by force seemed completely normal for her.
felt kinda sorry for her at the end of the game when she broke down 'Why does everyone hate me?'

At first I thought the entire Baker family was insane, but after learning what happened to them was tragic, Jack and Marguerite were just trying to do the right thing and save Eve without knowing she was a B.O.W. wanting a family, the Baker's are innocent accept for Lucas, they were just victims of the "Connections" organization.
When jack finally calms down and talks to ethan i really like jack

I love Jack's story arc, all told, I ended up feeling for the guy. Great story telling from team RE.
I love RE7 and I wish there was a way we could've saved Jack and Marguerite especially in that scene when jack is talking to Ethan and he says"Ethan free my Family please"

That dream sequence makes sense now, due to the nature of the megamycyte their memories are still intact in the mold and ethan being already infected proves that the scene could definitely happen.
The bakers were just a genuine proper family who fell victims unfortunately.

Video games rarely make me emotional but that Jack Baker explanation scene really took a tear outta me.
I feel for the Bakers. Jack and Marguerite were good people who took in strangers into their home and cared for them. But their kindness backfired in such a tragic way. After hearing Jack ask for Ethan's help I was even more motivated to put an end to his suffering by stopping Evie. Even after everything that Evie has put them through Jack was still understanding and understood that Eveline was just a child who wanted a family of her own and to be loved. Jack is a good guy. After all this time when I hear the soundtrack of Resident Evil 7 I feel such nostalgia. It's so haunting yet so beautiful. It has a much different feel than RE8 and I like the seventh one more. This game was dark, fascinating, fun, and engrossing. I wish the 8th one was more like seven. Thanks for making this video and breaking things down, I appreciate it!

The Baker family resembles the family from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Resident Evil games are my favorite and this seventh of the series was terrifying. I nearly soiled myself while playing.
The Bakers are some of the best, and some my favorite villains ever. RE7 is my favorite horror game ever. I really hope RE Village is as good as RE7

Mother Miranda and them are the connections that Mia work for that's why you can see a picture of the old witch lady in village in resident evil 7 in the Lucas Baker's portion
Knocked unconscious? Nope, Now we know that Jack killed Ethan in their initial encounter, and Ethan is one of the most powerful bio weapons.
I forget all this madness (Ethan's journey at the Baker's house) happened in one night!
i finished it on Saturday/Sunday and when i was done i said “that was all in one night?”
The scene with the Bakers talking to Ethan about Eva makes so much more sense after playing Village. Ethan was a Mold all along which makes this scene so much more impactful they were all infected, all connected. Beautiful series!!

I love resident evil 7, everytime I boot it up and the aunt rody song starts I am reminded every time just how fantastic this game is. Also I recommend the VR mode aswell ( whole new experience). This game 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

VR is a must. The first time I played RE7 I was a little underwhelmed but once you play it in VR... WOW. Game changer.

Neither Zoe nor Joe ever appear in RE8, but Rose Winters is basically Eveline but in a more complete and far more powerful form form according to Miranda in RE8. Both Mia and Ethan become molded, but for some reason Ethan is able to resist full infection. He and Mia are still infected at the start of Village and their daughter Rosemary is born "infected" which is why Miranda kidnaps her. Apparently Eveline was actually supposed to be the reborn daughter of Miranda, but the attempt was a failure.

Got this game for less than the price of a movie ticket. It's so worth it, especially with all the bonus content.

can anyone explain, how big baker house is, and basement, hope made video about baker family house and Property, by detail, im confuse, can real life house can be big like this, and have big underground basement full with equipment and thing. or maybe other family house combine. i know some real house can have big land, 2-3storey house, pool, jetty and boat, with treehouse, horse stable, and farm. but house big like baker house is almost non. maybe just a games. re8 castle more logical.
RE7 and RE8 are some of my favorite games of all time.
Till this day, I can't help but think that such a lovely and nice family got turn into a malicious maneating maniacs. They open their arms to Evelyn and this is the consequences of trying to help.

I really like this game. The last part of the game wasn't as good.though. turned into an action game lol. It was nice to.have tons of ammo though
I honestly didn't mind that since are earlier games had a similar end battle, The Tyrant in one, Birkin in two , and Nemesis in three.

That's possible. While taking out Mia is reasonable, there's still no explanation for why he also kidnapped Ethans daughter. Maybe it's because both parents were exposed to the virus?

idk i almost teared up durring jacks speech. we had countless battles with this crazed cannibal tyrant. to find out he was actually a very sweet guy. the fact that the gator crew said they where quiet and not backwood was obviously a first hint at it. i just didnt really believe him or catch on to it until the end.

It would be cool if we got a game where another Baker learns about the way the mold has a memory of all its hosts, who then tries to bring back their family using it. It would be interesting to go back to Dulvey in the aftermath of the Baker incident.
That would be cool and the other baker would probably Joe who is all about his own family
@@shortking1792 I think it would be Joe Baker’s son/daughter, if he has one, but not Joe himself. He was perfectly comfortable “putting him down” when he found out Jack was the swamp monster, so I think he would be fine knowing his family’s all gone. A person who grew up only knowing the good parts of the bakers, however, would absolutely be willing to do whatever it takes to bring them back, if they knew they could.
Just completed Re7 on Madhouse. Easy 3 hours 39 minutes, Madhouse 13 hours 49 minutes. All special items unlocked too.
I tried Madhouse but gave up. The repearing cutscenes got too annoying with the lack of saves.

The most unrealistic part of this game isn’t the infected baker family, the molded or any other monstrosity. The most unrealistic part is that an old couple from Louisiana would name their daughter Zoe.
You are correct they would use the French spelling Zoé instead of the English Zoe. Since Louisiana’s culture is mainly based on Old French peasant culture.
Or saving/continuing your marriage with the person who cut your hand off....

Naw not really...only to know who Chris Redfield is....but you can look that up...Ethan and the Bakers Family was a completely new story to the Franchise unless later on they make connections

VR version of this game is an absolute killer. It is easily the best video game experience I ever had in my life. To those of you who play Elden ring and think that’s the top of the mountain, you do not know shit.

@@immew8249 Well so far, this is still a new developing story in the whole series, with Chris red field involved; the situation may eventually reach global threat-levels. Then we could see the return of characters such as Jill and Leon. For now, it's still a minor situation with Ethan, and Chris in the mix.
And to be honest, I hope Ethan becomes the next iconic figure of the series just like Jill, Leon, and Chris (if he lives that long).
