    Hello, Kevin!
    We did a similar video tutorial on frontside buttered pretzel and it sparked a huge conflict in our local Bulgarian snowboard community. Some people claim that this trick is actually a nose butter slide 270 pretzel out, others claim that pretzels are only the tricks that are done on rails and boxes. Can you please shed some light on this, because I am getting kinda confused!
    PS. Great vid, you are our inspiration for us do to something similar like you, but in Bulgarian for the Bulgarian people. Keep up the great work!

      +semipro6600 I'd say it's in the harder group of butter tricks at first. But easier than the butter spin or butter 180.

    • @missionbiker
      @missionbiker 7 лет назад +1

      Dario Bonk the main points are to be balanced, to use your shoulders to move slightly and felling the snow under you feet (you have to be willing to ride flat, not just trying to be as less on the edges as possible)

    But pretzel and bagel are the names for butter or boxes with regular aproaching... I mean, when performing those tricks on a street rail/box, a pretzel could be: a) Front nose 270, b) Back nose 270, c) Front lip 270, d)Back lip 270; and the same for bagels: a) Front tail 270, b) Back tail 270, c) Front blunt 270, d)Back blunt 270.
    Right?

    • @braydenabbott1235
      @braydenabbott1235 7 лет назад

      GewoonYord it all depends some people find u should go by weight others think you should go by height(that's what I think) and for height I like my boards going up to my nose. Ps it's different for different boards. EDIT: when I say different boards I mean Like park, all mountain, back country etc

    • @muzzyahoy1489
      @muzzyahoy1489 7 лет назад

      GewoonYord I'm 186cm, weigh 98kgs and ride a 158. Look at weight ratings as a guide. Board construction and flex play a big role. Your size and weight are fine for that size board, you'll just probably want to only use it in the park though.

      @Ryan-uk1vw 7 лет назад

      It needs to be flexy enough for you to hold a press so it really depends on you weight and strength. You should try tail presses and if they aren't too hard, that means you can do butter tricks

      Nope, you need edge and nose/tail control. Flex doesn't matter.
      vimeo.com/61475856

    • @BoardArchive
      @BoardArchive 7 лет назад

      A more flexible snowboard will allow you to bend the board more and get into a better looking press, but Joel is right flex doesn't really matter that much as long as you are aware of your edges while you try the butter tricks!
