In Vapour thrust's case it also gives it new properties on hit, and every special also gets a slight damage buff. Foudre arc is only -2 on stand block without shock state (which means he is punishable with a throw) and if the opponent is crouching or in shock state, he is plus.(saying safe here can be slightly misleading) 25:40 Dragon Install: it needs 30%, not 25% health. It's also important to mention that all his specials get more hits because when you combine that with the huge chip damage he does in DI, it chunks solid amounts of health if they don't FD. While you were right in saying that DI makes all his specials work as if he had shock state 24/7, it's also good to mention that shock state can't be applied anymore when he's in DI as well. You also didn't mention the movement speed buff DI gives. Also even though it didn't come up in the video, one of the larger DI buffs is making HVT have a different launch angle, making combos midscreen possible off of things like 2K > 2D. So originally I thought it was from Leo being in blockstun as well. But when I went and tested it out. The far slash pushes Ky far enough back that even if I waited a few seconds the grab would wiff. However if you run up and try to grab as fast as possible you will not get the grab because of the blockstun, but you would have to hit them almost as soon as you land to get the wiff grab from block stun. Oh damn I didn't notice that about the shock state when I looked it up on the dustloop wiki. Thanks for the in-depth explanation. I did realize the dragon install mistake and thought I fixed it since I did do a recording of me saying 30% but must of forgot to put it in. And I didn't know about H Vapor Thrust having a different launch angle. I really only play Ky to go into DI so this might help me out a bit. Thanks for taking the time to give all this information. Actually if you want to talk about another peak Ky, Tyurara recently won Battle Arena Melbourne 14 I believe which was a Gold tour for AWT. While it doesn't guarante him a spot, it almost essentially does because it's really hard to come across the necessary points to be in that upper echelon without winning one. The winners and grand finals that Ty played in were really hype
