- In this video I show you a simple bobbin lace fan pattern with half stitch technique.
Also, I show options you have to make the fan look better. Even though a pattern might have the specifications for thread size and number of bobbins you are the one who finally decide.

I am so inspired by your lace and teaching. I have just bought a lace making box. I couldn't get one from your store because you had run out. I'm sure I will buy things in future. Could you please tell me what the foam is called that you use? There are so many types of foam. I tried to buy some high density foam but it wasn't right. Ahh well, it will go into the workshop for something else no doubt! So glad to have found your channel.
It’s call foamy or “goma Eva” you will find it at Michaels’ , Walmart and schools supplies store. It’s use for kids projects. Comes in many sizes and colors. Many people are buying the box and by the time I am able to put one in the store is already Reserved for some. It’s nice to know that more and more people are interested in learning this art.

Where can I purchase a mundillo pillow like yours? I love the holes on the edges where you hang the bobbins to keep them in order and out of the way!

Right now, I'm using a kneepad that I bought at a garden store. (All hobby shops over here have been closed for months and I've finally decided to try to learn bobbin lace after tatting for years.) Je suis excité et très satisfait de savoir que je peux aider les gens même en France avec mes vidéos. La boîte que j'utilise dans les vidéos mesure 7 pouces de large, 8 pouces de haut et la circonférence du rouleau est de 12 pouces. Cette scène est en bois massif de Porto Rico. Les moins chères sont en contreplaqué de cèdre et je les vends dans ma boutique sur Etsy : MundilloLaceAndMore. Je suis en production de nouveaux mondes.
