    Have you ever done this with sewing thread? I'm curious about what will happen. This video is awesome. Thank you for the tutorial. 😊

      As a pre-beginner I would like to see a video with the same pattern through out and really focus on the bobbin and that action over and over. Maybe using colored bobbins so I can absorb the basic motor skills. Thank you.

    This makes me think I can actually do bobbin lace. I have tried knitting lace but it makes my brain hurt and takes about an hour for every inch of lace. Thank you.

    Hello Diana
    Thank you for your comments, it is so good to know that the video is a help for others. I will certainly look at doing some ground video's as you are so right, they are difficult to get to grips with. Thank you.

      Lace bobbins are usually handmade wood turners. If you can't find any then you can use pencils.

    Hi reader ,I have a question how long does it take by scratch to make lace like a mouth or a week?

    • @LouWoo
      @LouWoo  7 лет назад

      Hello, this is a very difficult question, a bit like asking how much should I wind on a bobbin! There are many factors to take into account, the size (width/length) of the lace, how many pairs of bobbins you have to use, the type of lace and many more on top of that. Bobbin lace is not a fast hobby unless you have a deadline for a wedding garter but it is a very rewarding one.
