The best thing to do is to let the heat die down and try to work things out. Dotty was still upset and didn't seem to accept Ethan's aplogoy. I get it he broke her promise but perhaps there is more to why he did it so much than what she originally thought. Ethan is now feeling sad and upset about this, despite Filbert cheering him up he still felt bad, not to mention even Isabelle thinks this whole thing was blown of proportion.
This short hits me so hard because it reminds me of apologizing to my former friend for my horrible deeds but they didn't want to forgive me. Well done on this animation, by the way! 😔

This is the first animal crossing animation I've ever seen from this channel, and the moment I saw the reason why she was mad at Ethan, I was expecting this video to be nothing more than just a silly animal crossing animation considering she's mad at him because he went overboard with trying to show him all the cool stuff he made that I would get a laugh out of. What I DIDN'T expect is that this video would actually bring me into tears, because holy hell man, Ethan being so regretful and depressed about Dotty never wanting to see him again hits WAY too hard for me, as someone who in the past lost quite a number of people who used to be my best friends, this was certainly very relatable to the point of me crying. Knowing that it didn't get better for either of them after seeing the conclusion video is even worse because I too have been in situations like that where I tried to make amends in hopes of restoring my friendship with them, only for them to continue to reject me. :'( You certainly succeeded in making someone like me burst into tears after watching this, well done man. Also Filbert is the type of friend we ALL need.

Great animation every time I'm Japanese and can't read English very well, but the subtitle translation is very helpful. This animation seems like a story similar to a deep setting like the old Animal Crossing. It's fresh. I like it, it's like a different movie or drama than usual. It is very interesting. Part 2 (Good Ending): After Isabelle talks to Dotty, she realizes how cruel she has been to Ethan. She got angry and considered moving out just because Ethan invited him. The next day, Dotty goes up to Ethan's house and apologizes to Ethan. Ethan forgives her and it all works out in the end. I only wrote this because I saw the conclusion to this video and it made me emotional, so if you're looking for a good ending to this video then here it is!
Mostly. I use Blender for retargeting the ingame animations and doing complicated animations, like Ethan falling to his knees. For more simple animations, I just do it within Unity [which is the render engine used here]. I do NOT recommend using Unity unless you got lots of prior experience with it.
Well, I primarily use retargeted animation ripped directly from the game. I then import them into Unity and render out the scenes. Though, if you do not have prior experience with Unity, I recommend against using Unity and sticking with Blender. You can join my Discord server if you'd like to know more details.
