    I’m scheduled for my first laser treatment session in three weeks! I’m praying that by the Grace of God it will
    be my go to hair removal method and that I have excellent results! Facial hair can be so stressful especially on us lighter skin folks lol😂🤦🏽‍♀️

      Patch testing should be done 48hrs prior to the start to check the skin reaction and that should be documented.

    I got laser done and it burned my pigmentation instead of my hairs and it’s been a week and it’s slowly healing. I just want a method that will eliminate my hair so I won’t have to suffer with my hairs giving me hyperpigmentation from scratching or plucking

      @@maalikserebryakov I’m not sure what laser was used but they said that the laser is safe for my dark skin. My first treatment it went well. But my second session went horribly and it was so painful. My skin swelled up and a couple hours later every part where I had laser darkened up. It attacked my skin pigment than my actual hairs on my chin.

      @Rwak777 I went to the dermatologists to get mine done. The consultation was $150 and they did a sample to make sure your skin can handle it. I am carmel complextion. Well Honeyyyy I felt like I didn't need to good back after that. Hair was gone but not all the way there were a few stragglers. She also gave me some cream(triluma) for the hyperpigmentation. After the consultation the visits were $200. She said it would take 3-6 visits. I've done 2 visits so far 3 including the 1st consultation. My chin is cleared up. It was like a miracle. I'm going to do 1 more visit. I told the doctor that will be my last visit. I wish I could insert before and after pics. My results were seen in 1 month. Also with the triluma I used hydroquione 4%...my chin is $200 but if I wanted to get something else done(mustache, underarm, bikini line) it would be an additional $100 for each..also they offer for you to be numbed. I didn't want it. It doesn't hurt to me. It feels like a light prick..hope this helped.

    Wasn’t she supposed to shave 24 hours prior the treatment? This is torturing the client. I don’t trust this clinic

    • @IamKellyOG
      @IamKellyOG  10 месяцев назад +2

      For some people if you shave 24 hours prior you wouldn’t actually see hair to laser, so she trimmed 72 hours before so it’s possible to laser . Shaving is not advised as it is not helpful ln your treatment process but trimming does help.

    • @laurianapmanuel
      @laurianapmanuel 10 месяцев назад +7

      That’s add.
      I’ve never heard that before that you need to see some hair in order to laser. The laser should be able to detected the hair even if your eyes can’t see. From my own experience, when I don’t shave well and still have some hair visible I feel more pain, when I shave properly 24 prior my treatment I feel less pain and it doesn’t have any impact on the results besides the pain.
      So I really can’t relate to this information you just shared, but thanks for the reply

      You can't shave 24 hours before the treatment because the hair will already start to grow back. You have to shave on the day of the treatment

      The electrologist I see in my city is an African-American woman who's been doing electrolysis for many years. I still experience scars and pigmentation (because of how dark and coarse my hair is unfortunately), but I usually use ahas/retinol, and LOTS of sunscreen on the areas. Thank you very much for responding!
