I am on my weight loss journey, started in May 2024. I was 320 lbs and I lost 39 lbs so far because I am taking my time. Slow and steady. It is definitely a lifestyle change. You are inspiring
Would you be interested in sharing a day in the life / workout routine! we miss your vlogs and would love to watch them again if you’re be up for sharing
I should! My fear is that it would put you to sleep lol. Life is very calm and introspective these days 🤓 I do want to do cooking videos tho! I’ve been throwing down in the kitchen!
I've been watching you since I was a teenager, I'm 28 now and I'm just happy to see you again. I also have BED, I need to start today. No more excuses.
Why do you always show up when I need to hear from you the most girl! I started my wellness journey this summer due to knee issues at effen 32. No rush was the biggest take away here. It'll take as long as it needs to take as long as I'm enjoying the journey. ❤ You're glowing btw!
I truly believe you are such a beautiful soul. I've followed you since probably 2015 or 2016 and I'm SO proud of how far you've come. I am currently working to get sober from alcohol and I hate what it's done to me, the weight I've gained, how crappy I feel - you're such an inspiration to me .
I have never heard anyone talk like this about health journey, It's amazing and it give me another perspective instead of me feeling like a failure every time I feel like I failed myself and every time I think about losing weight and eat healthy It's stressful. I'm glad I found you and I hope I can find that freedom and peace with food and exercise.
I suggest reading a book Plate of Health by Ethan Parker if you want to know how to lose weight. Just follow everything writer suggests in there, it's one of the best reads I had in a while.
I'm soo happy for you! I've been a follower for years and related so much to your weight struggles. Currently stalled out at about 45 lbs of weight loss, but aiming for 60 by the end of the year hopefully!
Yayyyy!! Looking amazing girl!! I seriously can’t wait to lose my weight. I got clean off meth and just blew the fuck up! It’s been 5 years and I’m way over my normal weight ☹️
A few years ago I started Keto. I’m 5’10 and was also 245 lbs. currently 159. Trying to get that last few pounds off is rough! Started running and it’s starting to come off. I really need to start weight training. You look amazing and happy! Congratulations on your success!
Wow!! Congrats, that’s huge! And yes, it comes off so easy in the beginning, but as your body fat lowers it comes off much slower. I’ve had many plateaus over the years too!
OG follower, I am so here for your tremendous internal growth omg the mental shifts you’ve made are insane sis. It’s so wonderful to see you glowing mentally and physically ❤❤❤
I've been following your journey for years and I am so proud of you! Quitting drinking was the best decision I ever made, it's hard to see how much it's negatively effecting you until you quit-or at least take a few months off. I love lifting! It's so empowering and good for your body and mental health. " I am HABITUATED" yassss!
This! It took me a year to lose 30lbs. Once I was able to accept that your not going to lose weight quickly it all changed. Eat well most of the time, but enjoy living, and move regularly. Its not like this for everyone, but I feel like making changes and not expecting the weight to come off in weeks is the key.
This is what I needed to hear. I have just started my health and fitness journey again after neglecting myself for two years. Instead of white knuckling it, I am trying to take it slow and not expect myself to be where I was at before. My goals are small but I have faith in three years I will look back and realize how far I have come just like you have. Patience and kindness to yourself is key. Thank you for sharing your journey. PS Love the Brene Brown quote! She’s amazing.
Beautiful girl! I have been out of the loop and haven't seen you in forever. You look fabulous and great job going sober and eliminating binging! GOOD FOR YOU!
Im 14 years clean from opiates. When i first got clean i gained a massive amount of weight bur as I've aged, I'm 58, the weight just kind of balanced itself out. You look amazing sweet girl and I'm so proud of you!!!!
Congratulations on 14 years!! You’re amazing! When I first went into recovery I let myself eat as much sugar and junk food as I wanted and I have no regrets! Happy to hear a bit of your story, I’m thankful for you 🙏
I have so much respect for you!!!! You did this your way, on your timeline and now you are changing lives sharing your story. I am exponentially more motivated after watching your videos. You are just incredible!!!! I am in awe of you!
Would love to know what resources you think are good to get in to weightlifting (like how do I know which exercises to do? proper form? how many reps? etc). I love the idea of strength over skinny, and healthy over starving. I'm ready, it's just SO overwhelming to start - there's too much information out there! ps. it's so nice to know that it took over 3 years for you to do a proper push-up. that kind of information is NECESSARY for my brain bc otherwise I'd be expecting to do one within a couple months and upset that I still couldn't. thank you for this!
Hi! I used to use the Kelsey Wells PWR program on the sweat app. I loved the program and u can choose what level you want to start on. I train on my own now but I still check out RUclips videos here and there, but I would say now I focus more on mind body connection and feeling what feels right and when the muscles are engaged. Sometimes when I focus too much on how my form “should” be I end up getting hurt lol 😅
I remember the first time I watched your journey and I've been wondering how you were and if you got to where you wanted! It's so good to see your story now!
You inspire me so much! I can just feel how at peace you are compared to when I would watch you years ago. Your growth & evolution is phenomenal! Thank you for always sharing parts of your stories with us! ❤❤❤
I’m so happy to see that you are in this positive place in your life. I’ve been on this ride with you on social media and I know it’s been really hard at times for you. Keep up the good work. You are an inspiration to many of us including my self. Love ya💙!!!!
Cheering you on from WV! You are such a real, down to earth inspiration. Love your videos, your perspectives and relate to so much of your journey. Keep on kicking ass ❤
Omg Chrisspy I’ve been following since you started this journey and to see you know just gives me sooo much confidence and this can be done and I can finally be free from my food binge and addiction!!!! Thank you so much and I am so proud of you!!! ❤❤❤
Makeup look Please!! I am here for the diet & exercise - trust & believe - same starting weight, only 3 inches shorter than you! And the goal is the same! You look fabulous Chrisspy!! Not just bcse of the weight loss - you are truly glowing & have a contentedness about you that I admire!! Congratulations on choosing to take good care of yourself And thank you for sharing how you got to where you are!! 🧡💫
Girl I’ve been following your journey for over 10 years! I’m so happy for you. Not just because of the weight loss but also because you seem like such a beautiful and creative person. It’s nice to see another young woman from the Bay Area blossom. You should talk about your adventures in Mexico. I would love to hear all about it. ❤❤❤
I love to hear your story!! I'm on a similar journey. I have BED and last year I finally got the help I needed. It's been slow....slower than my previous weight loss attempts, but it feels so different this time around because my mindset has shifted. I started Aug 2023, and my highest weight last summer was 285 (i'm 5' 5.5") but now I'm down to 215. it's so weird, because I'm only halfway to my goal, but I'm happier than ever, and I love myself more than I ever have before (even when I was much smaller). congrats to you. It sounds like you're doing well too ❤
I resonate with that a lot 🙏 makes me happy to hear about more victories over BED. I thought I would never beat it. Congratulations on all your success! You’re an inspiration 💙✨
Chrisspy, you’re so beautiful! Always have been. Such an inspiration! I’ve followed you forever now. Started going to the gym about 2 months ago myself. No physical changes yet but getting stronger. 🙌🏻
Thank you!! Chrisspy! I followed you since forever and seeing your journey is sooo inspiring!! I struggle soooo much with diet and well I hope I can reach my goals, like you did as well ❤
Can you please talk about your journey off social media while tied into this? I’ve recently realized I’m basically addicted to social media/my phone and I’m in the lowest spot I’ve ever been mentally, doing the same cycle over and over, living the same year over and over and not actually living. I have over 80lbs to lose to be considered not obese anymore.. I’m miserable. I have been toying with the idea of going completely ghost and working on myself too, but I feel like it’s so scary to do even though I KNOW I need to!? I feel like only then will real change happen for me. I don’t have any substance abuse problems, but I’m definitely addicted to comparing myself and going down the social media rabbit hole. Your journey has been so so inspiring to me. Congratulations on becoming a healthier version of yourself!
Hi!! I’ve been doing somewhat of a digital detox myself, deleting Reddit (cuz I need IG and YT for work but I’m good about not scrolling on those). My friend and I made a pact and deleted at the same time (hers was IG). I say… do it! Delete them! Why not? Maybe try it for a week and see how u feel? Or there are AppBlockers that u can set time limits too, I’m thinking about trying that myself.
This was super helpful! I think I am learning that things you try to achieve really fast won't stick. I just recently realized that this is going to be a journey for the rest of my life. No rush!
Have watched you for years and always relate to you so much! I lost 45 lbs recently using a similar attitude and I’m so happy to learn more tricks from you as I also am a binder. You look AMAZING. Glowy queen
Idk if you’ve already made a video but would love to see how/ why you moved to Mexico and how it has been for you?? You are amazing and thank you for sharing all of this ❤
You are just so dope!!! Your personality has always been genuine and warm. I’m so happy for you. I would love to see a video on what you eat in a week. 🤗❤️
Thank you sharing this - you’re so inspiring! I’m on my health and spiritual journey too. I’m currently 203 days sober and not in a rush to drop all my weight (40lbs down now), I know it’ll come ☺️
Wowwww , thats Soo awesome ! I weigh like 235lbs & I'm 5 foot 5 inches tall , I wanna be 175lbs again. I even got the Sleeve procedure/surgery done in 2016 & got down to 205lbs & was good for a few yrs but eventually started eating things i shouldn't & the lack of moving around has anything i eat just sticking to me. I hate how i look now & it makes me not want to try to meet anyone to date. I've been single since my fiance Billy died in 2011. Haven't met anyone I've been interested in yet unfortunately. But being this big makes me feel soo crappy about my body & how i look. I am wasting away my life being this big & i don't want to wait too long & end up dying alone. I want to meet someone special again but looking how i do now i know it won't happen. I need the motivation to take action & do better. So thank you for sharing your story. Look forward to checking out your other videos. You look soo amazing girl. 🎉❤🎉
Don't be too hard on yourself my friend. This is your journey, you're not wasting your life, you've been through some hard times and healing happens at it's own pace. I believe that one day you will look back and see that everything worked out, it always does 🙏 Wishing you the best of luck on your journey, please keep me posted!! 💙💙💙
Love this!! Would you be willing to go further into the healing work and the mind body connection work that you did? I believe this is a key part to getting healthy and weight loss that is often skipped over. I appreciate you highlighting it!
Yes, I like to do body scan meditations, there are tons on RUclips! Anything that keeps the awareness in the body or the breath helps build new connections in the brain and calms our nervous system. I will do a video about my journey with this 💙
Wow!! Girl you are so inspiring - thank you for sharing in such a realistic way 💕 always an instant click when your videos pop up! & congratulations on your sobriety 💫💪❤️
Congratulations honey, you look sooooo amazing!! I suffer from binge eating disorder as well and have yoyo'd massively over the last few years with my weight. your huge accomplishment gives me so much hope! ❤❤❤
Hello, I watched a house tour video years ago and it’s so nice to see your video pop up again on my feed. Firstly so happy for you and your health in general. Being sober and living more intentionally is really hard but you won in the end💕. I am currently on my journey myself and I have also given myself realistically over a year time form now (I’m okay no matter how long it takes but I do hope 2 years will give me ample progress) My questions are : 1) do you mind talking a bit more in depth step by step how you overcame binge eating. Dealing with same issues but a lot of advice I’ve seen have not stuck long term 2) I am trying to focus more on having a balanced plate ratio rather than counting/logging calories. I have been using the hand measuring method for most meals . In your experience what did you do to make sure you were in the slight deficit needed to drop the weight. Thank you and looking forward to seeing more
You look amazing! I've been working out pretty consistently for just over two months now, and I haven't seen much of a shift in weight yet, but I'm proud of myself for embarking on this journey again. I also find I have to be flexible and give myself grace, or I'll be a lot more likely to binge!
Girl we have the same routine. I never limit myself either or I’ll binge eat, and I LOVE lifting heavy 😩 the key is to be consistent! If you stop, start again next day.
I have been talking myself out of getting a bob.. In my head I always thought it was not sexy or as appealing as long hair. But you look absolutely gorgeous with this cut and color! Legit feeling like I am going to take the plunge Nov 12, my next hair appointment. You look fantastic ❤
@@Chrisspy that’s what I want to do as well. I did some naughty things to my hair trying to get the no brass light beige look, on half Mexican but all the pigment hair that takes a days of work to lift 😂lol. I am trying to cut off the damage and create a whole era of new damage 😂😂! Your sobriety looks so sexy on you btw ♥️
This is so encouraging to hear, and proud you took your time over 3 years with a healthy diet and exercise, not taking the easy way out with weight loss injections. I have the same problem with alcohol and binging but I used have anorexia so it’s hard to have a good relationship with food…
You’re amazing ⭐️ congrats on your goal reaching weight loss. In March I started and like you taking it slow. I am seeing small changes in both my food choices and working out. Do want to start weights. Can join do a “what I eat in a day “ video ?
You look magnificent!!!! I love your progress, girl. You've really put in the work in all areas and it shows. Keep going and keep showing up for yourself. 💜
Thanks for the vids! You look great as always. Do you have a recommendations for working out at home? I jump rope and I want to lift but haven’t got the equipment yet. Any suggestions?
Just watched your video/podcast with Michelle Phan…Any advice for someone who wants to start their spiritual journey? Where do you start? What do you focus on?
Just the reminder that I’m going to be in my body for the rest of my life really hit home. As someone who’s struggled with self hatred my whole life, my goal really is to just be healthy and happy for my daughter.
Congratulations you look amazing! Could you make a video or give insight on how you heal your mind from binge eating? Cause to me that is the most challenging part.
Yes, that was the most challenging part for me too. I basically started doing body scan meditations. There’s tons on RUclips! Really, any meditation where you’re keeping your awareness in the body or breath is helpful. Meditation helps build new connections in the brain and calms the nervous system. When I fall out of the habit I just start with a 2 min morning meditation while still in bed because I’m all about reducing the scope and sticking to the schedule hehe. But I can’t stress enough how essential it’s been for my healing process.
I used to go to the gym for 2-3 hours for weeks didn’t know what the hell i was doing and never lost any weight now I go and do 15-30 minutes in the treadmill with the right approach with a goal that is attainable i see more results in a day than I did weeks of doing long work outs at the gym
Hi Chrissy :) If you would be comfortable going into more detail about what sort of work you did for the mind body connection, that would be amazing. I too have a binge eating problem and would love to kick that to the curb. Thank you so much 🥰
Yesss.. been seeing a lot of comments about this and it’s something I’m passionate about because I struggled SO much with binge eating. I like to do body scan meditations. There’s lots of videos on RUclips. Meditation helps create new connections in the brain and calms our nervous system. It’s such a powerful tool 🙏
Thanks for sharing!! Im pregnant with my 2nd kid. I'm already 163 and I'm sure I'll gain more after the baby. So I'm definitely going to use your advice!!! ❤ thank u. And that's so 👏 good job
Can you share your experience with healing your binge eating, please? I need help with that. I need to see a professional but would love to hear your story. Thank you!

I will do a video about my journey with this 💙
@@Chrisspy yay!! Would love that. I think a lot of others will as well ❤️

You got this!
@@Chrisspy Thank you beautiful!! ❤❤❤
Hello,
I watched a house tour video years ago and it’s so nice to see your video pop up again on my feed. Firstly so happy for you and your health in general. Being sober and living more intentionally is really hard but you won in the end💕.
I am currently on my journey myself and I have also given myself realistically over a year time form now (I’m okay no matter how long it takes but I do hope 2 years will give me ample progress)
My questions are :
1) do you mind talking a bit more in depth step by step how you overcame binge eating. Dealing with same issues but a lot of advice I’ve seen have not stuck long term
2) I am trying to focus more on having a balanced plate ratio rather than counting/logging calories.
Thank you! I’m actually trying to grow my hair out after trimming it this length for about a year.. wish me luck!
Thank you for sharing your weight loss journey. I needed this reminder and motivation to keep at it and keep going. ❤
This is so encouraging to hear, and proud you took your time over 3 years with a healthy diet and exercise, not taking the easy way out with weight loss injections. I have the same problem with alcohol and binging but I used have anorexia so it’s hard to have a good relationship with food…
You will get there! I'm rooting for you!
@@Chrisspy ♥️
You’re amazing ⭐️ congrats on your goal reaching weight loss. In March I started and like you taking it slow. I am seeing small changes in both my food choices and working out. Do want to start weights. Can join do a “what I eat in a day “ video ?
you look amazing.. and glowing from within!! ❤️
Where have you been , girl! You look amazing!
I’m so so proud of you girl. U did THAT!
Thank you!! Much love coming your way!!! ❤😊
You look magnificent!!!! I love your progress, girl. You've really put in the work in all areas and it shows. Keep going and keep showing up for yourself. 💜
Thank you!
You look AMAZING! I totally agree working out has become part of my routine so no more dread!
I’m so happy for you Chrisspy!!
Thanks for the vids! You look great as always. Do you have a recommendations for working out at home? I jump rope and I want to lift but haven’t got the equipment yet. Any suggestions?
Thank you for these videos! 🫶🏽
Thank you for sharing and being so open ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your journey. I’ve truly have never been able to have a good relationship with food but you give me hope. ❤
I was the same way! Food ruled my life, but healing is possible. Just take it one little step at a time. You got this 🙏
I love you so much!! ❤ thank you for sharing your journey! ❤
Just watched your video/podcast with Michelle Phan…Any advice for someone who wants to start their spiritual journey? Where do you start? What do you focus on?
You are amazing ❤ thank you for sharing your journey!
I’m inspired. I appreciate this video beyond belief. ❤
You look and sound amazing 💖 so happy for you and your health journey!
you’re such an inspiration chrisspy ily 🫶🏽
You read my mind! I just finished watching the podcast with Michelle and was wondering on the deeds. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 thank you for sharing 🙏🏼
Yes 🙌🏽 so glad to see you girl..
Thank you so much for replying. I will definitely be giving that a try 😊
I used to go to the gym for 2-3 hours for weeks didn’t know what the hell i was doing and never lost any weight now I go and do 15-30 minutes in the treadmill with the right approach with a goal that is attainable i see more results in a day than I did weeks of doing long work outs at the gym
Chrissspppppyyyyyy omG! Soooo glad to see you! ❤❤❤
Wow after long time ❤ welcome again ❤🎉
So happy for you queen! You are beautiful at every size☺️🫶🏼
I love how relatable this is
Hi Chrissy :)
If you would be comfortable going into more detail about what sort of work you did for the mind body connection, that would be amazing.
I admire you so much! You are such an inspiration ❤🎉
