I agree. most youtubers just tell you to set everything at low and don't test the settings. anistroptic filtering for instance provides no performance loss but it also increases visual quality greatly. gpu control panels as well, like people tell you to set the texture filtering optimizations on however they dont research that its for older hardware and wont provide a performance boost.

Correction: Fullscreen obviously provides the best performance and likely the least amount of input-lag, while windowed made me drop 7 FPS
@HRWNgaming I'm getting exactly the same performance for both but I am aware that some people report heavy unput lag on Fullscreen Extended Window. Not sure why though.

Tech please take a minute to Try this one ; the ultimate way to gain FPS is changing the aspect ratio l as i play 16:9 i get 100-160 fps 1080p with ultra settings , now if i change my aspect ratio to 21:9 i can Rexach 200-240 fps Currently running on 8700/ gtx1080ti , 32:9 goes even further btw , altough it becomes unplayable if your monitor doesnt match resolution , 21:9 gets u the black bars aswell but you’re still able to see , and your FOV goes even further than 120 ( virtually )

Make sure you turn off the circuit breaker, I found best results sitting in the dark completely.
Loved this video. A rare one where you support your claims with facts. Also, you aren't like like other ytbers who are either, 'get a good card and pump all the settings' or ' disable everything and get max fps' . I too love quality in my games as much as the FPS, and I think this guide helped, like a lot. Then ofc, you also gave people the option to strip all the extensive settings for an FPS jacked game option. Kudos, this was a video well made, and a subscriber earned.
With the particle quality setting, I've noticed that low particle quality actually blurs things in game behind any transparent effects (For example, smoke, tinted windows) so definitely keep it on for better visual clarity
Pro tip: If you have a lower end CPU, turning your graphics down will offload some work to the CPU that the GPU would normally handle. This can cause your CPU to be overloaded and raising your graphics settings will improve performance in this case.

cory wilson I sadly have the Intel i5-9400f which doesn’t have integrated graphics and it’s paired with a GTX 1660ti
idk if my cpu is good or not, its a 7 2700 but i have an rtx 2070 and i notice in some games that highest setttings and lowest settings runs the same. Should i keep them up?
Imagine if this game had restart issue after applying new graphics setting.

sometimes it crashes when you change the settings, i have the same set up but with a i7 9700k,and i tried running ray tracing and lost my running ability lol, then the game crashed, it only happened once but it was related to me changing settings
It kinda did at lauch. Change too much while the game was running and it would crash and you'd have to restart to keep making changes.
well I thank you a lot the truth you saved my life with this since I do not have a good pc (8gb ram and a 1gb video card + an i5) and I was very slow and stuck but with the fov and some improvements That you explained, everything was solved for me, it was perfect without delays and it was excellent, from Argentina I send a greeting and thanks for taking the time, the truth you saved me a lot from the fov is incredible, I put it in 100 and it works very well + the cache activated without any problem

@@jessierabino822 Thanks, but I kinda feel like that makes the gun sounds really tough on the ears. It boosts the highs, so the gun shots always make me turn down the overall volume, so I end up hearing less of the footsteps overall. Studio seems best so far with an audio interface.

i was wondering what was dropping my frame rate so much, then i found out from this that raytracing was what was really hurting my fps. doubled it from 60 to 120

This is an excellent video of how to get your FPS back up where it can be the best possible. ALSO - I know a lot of people did the hot fix of disabling DX-12 to stop game crashes and freezes. With the latest update to Warzone, you should not have to do that anymore. I set all my setting as this video suggested, AND I let Warzone run as normal with DX-12. Played 10 games and had zero issues with the game misbehaving. My FPS was a lot better too. Well done "Tech Guides".

Perfekt,I used your settings, i disabled anti aliasing and have around 75 fps wich is perfekt with my 75 hz monitor.

Very low just enhanced visibility in some cases on my end... ;p Performance difference between low and high is negligible unless you've got severe VRAM issues indeed.

Yes this was also quite the surprise to me! It's as Daryl mentioned because far away objects are drawn with less details at higher FOV, thus giving better performance
me too, it improved my fps count. but my only problem is my OBS stream, there were 100% skipped framerates and idk why.
Its been this way for a while now contrary to popular belief, the only time it's going to really have drops is when there's allot happening close to the screen.

I've tinkered around with so many settings but it is always so hard to spot enemies, they just either blend with the environment or you just can't see them because the rooms are extremely dark and you can't see anyone through the windows. I wish that IW release a visual clarity patch for this Warzone but I doubt it.
10:09 "i like to have the clearest possible picture" and he adds a grease of Anti-aliasing on the screen.....
He's still right though. The lack of anti-aliasing introduces jagged edges which are actually counter to good gameplay, since they may interfere with silhouette recognition, and distance recognition of targets, standing still, or in motion.

Just remember if you use g-sync its better to enable fps limiter 3 fps under your max refreshrate. In this video it would be 167 while forcing vsync on through NVCPL.

*i learned this the hard way, always people with RTX2080 and i9 9900k, are the ones doing tutorials on boosting performance, so which means these shits wont work on low end PCs*
There is no point in doing performance benchmarks when you have a system which is bottle-necked by some components. But ah well....

For anyone watching, make sure you set particle quality to HIGH not LOW as the video states. In thick forest areas like Farmland or the mountainy areas above the Dam, the particle quality makes the lighting through trees look absolutely awful, and when you're pushing someone uphill it makes it extremely impossible to spot them.

well, i currently have a 1060 gtx gpu and this video has helped me to eliminate all stutters, lag etc, the game now keeps from 80FPS to 120 ish in situations where a lot a lot is happening but usually it will keep to 120 tops fps which is great on a 1060!!! Thank you sir! Also 1440p seems to work better than 1080p on this game with render resolutions set on lowest for me... what odd build of a game...
