Another outstanding,high energy groove song from the Rodney Dangerfield's of Rock! On this track, you can feel Schenker's pure unfiltered joy. His Flying V expressions here are unharnessed musical freedom in its' most crystalline form. The riffs, runs, melodies & tones present on "Pushed to the Limit" run the entire gamut of guitar playing ideas...and that's just on a singular song. Yet, the emotion/warmth of his playing isn't compromised & even surpasses the considerable technical requirements.
At the studio when recording this, they had copies of Lights Out and Obsession on the console, so they could make sure it "sounded right". IT DOES! Michael BURNS on the solos to this one!
