@@bphubli2023 that's a know problem and it can be fixed top just need to adjust taper play.. but you have to be sure that's the noise first.. service center guys should help doing it if not raise a complaint against them
Biggest problem with Dominor 400 is Fuel tank capacity / milege. Atleast they should have given 17 ltr tank. Presently in 13 ltr tank, only 10ltr is usable. More visits to refill.
Bhai mene abhi recently ecu update kraya apni bike ka.. uske baad se bike 90+ jaate hi rpm drop kr rhi hai, jhatke leke waps 87-88 pe aa jati hai. Ecu update krane ke baad m 100kms se jada chala chuka hu bike lekin abhi prblm gya nahi. Mene phle b ecu update kraya hai ek baar lekin ye speed limit wala prblm kabhi nahi hua. Please help.

Jab mechanic ko bola to wo bataya ke throttle body clean hua hai isilye thoda esa rahega par 50-60 kms chalane ke Baad thik ho jayega. Pankaj bhai agar throttle body clean kiya to esa problem hoga kya? Bike to aur bhi sahi ho jana chahiye na? Abhi mera dominar chalane ke liye odd lag raha hai. Rpm down hone ke liye time le raha hai aur raising hoke reheta hai. Gear shifting ke time bhi zyada noise araha hai. Rpm ka timing late ho gaya hai down hone ka. Ab kya karun, jo mechanic bol raha hai ke kuch kms chalne ke Baad thik ho jayega ya kuch aur karna padega? Ap kya bol rahe ho?

Mujhe fast gearing ka adaat ho gaya tha rpm ke sath but abhi rpm thoda late ghatne ke wajah se acceleration aur gearing ka taal mel nahi pakad pa raha hun.

As per there website it's only available for appache 200 FI for now. In future they might but fuel injection and ECU driven bike is necessary for powertronic. You can connect them on insta and check website for future

I hv done 60k kms nd touchwood Happy bt hv meet other owners who faces problems with Dominar. I think it's all abt hw u handle the bike. If u r upgrading from 125, 150 cc carburettor ones nd don't understand the FI technology handling, or I say do mishandling then Problem are ready for you..

Majority of times ECU update fix this lag but if throttle body is clogged then fuel injector cleaners might help. If it's sudden drop in power then it might be ECU issue if it's gradual power loss then cleaning will help
My 2020 dominar got 5 years warranty, after 3 service, if I switch to other engine oil brand will it effect my warranty? Or till 5 years I have to use that Bajaj oil only?
I didn't faced throttle lag in dominar since 2 years but recently I serviced my bike at service centre, they changed air filter for the first time and changed fuel filter as well. Since then I'm facing throttle lag. Please help what should I do? I'm using motul engine oil.

Q: my dominar 400 2017 has clocked 11000 kms only and till so far I have only used Bajaj 10w50 engine oil (given in service centre). I want to immediately use Motul 7100 4T 10w50 oil in my dominar. Should I use Engine oil flush like 3m engine oil flush/liquimoly engine oil flush, or should directly change the oil without using flush? Secondly, is bajaj 10w50 seriously fully synthetic oil?
If oil change is don't regularly as per manual no flush required at 11000. Don't go for Motul 7100, buy motul 300 v or V2 instead or even Liqui moly street race is better. (This is just my recommendation) Bajaj oil is synthetic, but by definition itself it's not natural oil it's something made in a lab with all ingredients etc so not one full synthetic oil will be same. Engine oil depends on brand used if bajaj oil used then 1300-1500 roughly. Oil filter rs80 Labour charge almost 500-700 hai Air filter 250 Chain lube maat karwana Rs180 phaltu lagega.
Hey @being curious I had a question as we Indians love faired bikes what if We were to retrofit fairing to the Dominar? Maybe go for a KTM RC fairing parts and replace the head hub too with the stealth nose means the whole front set from the RC or go for the RS200 fairing front as it's a perimeter frame I didn't like the Pune autopsyche readymade fairing packages
It would be way costly if done in single custom project but anything is possible in India with money to spend. I myself finding some bolt on solution for cafe racer built no one is interested in single bike project which cant be sold to masses. But yeah idea you have could be reality but expensive
For tank noise check my vibration video, for chain check chain slag already have a video on that please check on channel page, lube the chain timely. Also have you installed chain slider given by bajaj last year?

Bajaj mechanics are troubleshooting the issue but no success yet .

Well if you can hide it from service center guys then no you can be eligible for warranty but once they come to know then yes it might get void

No it doesn't but if bajaj service center guys want to make issue about it they will, just ensure no wire is cut while installing anything
