    I love the way you explain things step by step and leave in the whole arranging procedure. I find it especially helpful that you leave in the pieces where you change the position of a flower or change the arrangement in some way and explain why.

    Hello, Kiana and congrats and thanks for what you are doing. This video gave me back the sparkle into creating floral designs. I do have one question though, as I have never used a pin frog and I want to swap the floral foam with this. Do you insert the stem of the flowers into the nail or in between them? How do so many flower come into that little pin frog? Thanks again and looking forward to devour your channel, this is the first video of yours that I have watched.

    This is such a beautiful arrangement. Flowers are so ephemeral, though. How long will an arrangement using these flowers and fruits last? Is there something special that can be added to the water to give them a longer life? I have used little floral packets that come with small bouquets at the market, but I do not think they helped my flowers to last much longer than they otherwise would have done, which is usually only a few days. I use distilled water instead of tap water because of the chemicals added to tap water. Is it better to use a certain type of water, e.g. distilled, spring, etc.?

    Hi! I have a question: do you pierce the stem into the pin or just place it in between the pins?

    • @Tulipina
      @Tulipina  4 года назад +10

      Hi Erin - actually, both. However, woody stems are more difficult to pierce, and tend to go in-between the pins.

    Hi I have a question! Ranunculus have very soft stems so how do you avoid breaking the stems when you pull them to the side? Your work is beautiful and I'm learning so much! Thank you!!

    • @nrupianist3072
      @nrupianist3072 3 года назад +1

      Hi Megan, thank you for your positive feedback. In general, ranunculus can be gently bent without breaking the stems. Just be patient and if the stem feels like it isn't moving into position, pull it out and try a slightly different spot.

    Gorgeous! How do all these flowers manage to stay pinned to the frog? Visually seems like there are more flowers then the frog can hold..

    • @Tulipina
      @Tulipina  6 лет назад +8

      Hi Xenia, not all of the flowers have to be secured in the frog. You use the frog to build your base, and then other flowers can be inserted between stems, without necessarily needed to be secured directly into the frog. Hope this helps!

      Hi Kiana, when you have to transport the arrangement, since some flowers just sit in between the stems (not all pinned to the frog), would the arrangement stand still? Also just wondering, since the vase is filled with water, is there any special handling during the transportation? There wouldn't be water splash problem with foam since it absorbs water, but with the frog might bit different? Hope you can advise since I'd love to use the frog 😊😊

    Are the floral stems pressed in between the frog's spikes or onto the spikes? In other words, do the spikes pierce the bottoms of the stems, or do the stems just snuggle between the spikes. This is unclear to me.

    • @Tulipina
      @Tulipina  4 года назад +2

      Both! The spikes piercing woody stems can create a nice base which will allow other stems to nest in between (and/or between the spikes). Cheers.
