Wow, these arrangements are really lovely, Mark. Being a "more is always better" kind of person, frogs can be frustrating -- they (gasp!) limit the number of blooms and greenery you can use. But, after watching your video and learning the tips (OMG wedging that sucker to make it fit in the hole is genius!), I think I'll hunt down my mother's frogs and use them to create a simple arrangement. Cheers!
Hi friend!! I'm so glad you liked this and have re-thought your use of frogs!! They really are so VERY easy and a quick fun way to enjoy a few blooms in your home! I so appreciate your continued watching and wonderful comments! Cheers to you! Mark
Mark you can have the Rum straight up or with coke. They is also a white one called Mount Gay Silver which I used in the height of Covid which was my medicine. Have not caught it yet.
I used to drink a bit of rum and Coke back in my younger days, and also have enjoyed it with various combinations of fresh fruit juices. But I applaud your medicinal use of it! We should probably let the world know about that! 😂. Thanks again for watching! ❤️
Wow, Rose, that must have been an amazing experience!! Do you still use the frog? and, what's your favorite type of flower to use in your designs? Thank you so much for watching! Mark
Hi @lucynesse8734 and thanks for watching! In one example in the video, I use one pin frog turned upside down and slightly on top of the other to counterbalance it and give it stability. There is also a product called floral clay that can also be used. The clay (which really looks like green clay!) comes in a roll. You would unroll a bit of it, and use it to adhere the frog to the bottom of your container. The clay is SUPER sticky and will often leave a residue on your container and frog (which is why lots of folks stopped using it!). And, ultimately, it's about making sure that the flower placement in the design is balanced and that the stems are placed to ensure both visual and physical balance!! Great question! Keep 'em coming and thanks again for watching! Mark

They are called flower frogs because they could be underwater and sit still like a frog can
Thanks for the explanation!! That certainly makes sense! Thanks for watching!!
Mark I know you are a Bourbon specialist, but you have to try any brand of Mount Gay Rum from Barbados❤
Haha, yes, Jan I certainly should! How do you recommend it? Neat in a glass? On ice? Or in your favorite cocktail?
