Good. Thats what he shoud be. An honest guy with talent. Not some fake wannabe full of himself artist some filmmakers try to be.

He's a brotha from Oakland. There's SO MUCH TALENT in The Town, but like all things in this country, it's about opportunity. He made the most of his. Ryan is an AUTEUR. He's going to be massive...it's just time now.

Fruitville put him on. Creed showed that he's a force to reckon with and Black Panther is going to catapult him to superstardom

+dramatish +Tidwell2527 yeah, it was. this time, even though he's revisiting his most famous character portrayal in a movie (next to Rambo), he's got age, wisdom and a wealth of experience behind him now that he can use in his performances. he's gotten better

Amazing story, I honestly thought also that Creed was a studio move that just hired Ryan the way they treat their comic book movies, but not the case at all, the film was inspired by a personal story by Ryan and a passion for the Rocky franchise.

That's not true, Ryan Coogler went to college for cinematic arts/film and has a Master's Degree in Fine Arts, he wouldn't be a director if he didn't have the education and training. For every job that I was hired I was selected because of my education and credentials, not because I know anyone.

This was a great interview...but the way she ended it was really awkward.. "How long is that shot"? (he responds, she cuts him off) "Uhh, congratulations, we gotta go now, I'm afraid, okay here we go now.........................."
I mean I get it she probably was instructed that she had to cut it, but geesh, it could have been a little smoother, idk

Agreed, great interview but REALLY cringe-worthy 'Karen-like' abrupt end to such an amazing moment in the interview. Time up or not, a smooth landing would have been nice. Would love the interviewer's thoughts on this. Thank you for this.

Anne Thompson I know this is going to sound crazy but I know what he is talking about if sly is looking for that one guy who he truly ever inspired to its me on the spiritual level it all connects with Ryan's intentions of the movie and Slys and mine. The universe has brought me this far. Plz I ask you just pass this msg to Ryan. All I can do is believe. Let him know I said that. Is believe in our dream.

Fruitvale station is his best film he should do more work like that, i always cry at the movie, such a terrible situation and whole story, i still cant believe the epilouge of that, only 2 years for cold blood murder. I would like to see movie about that whole process, and why is sentence such small. TERRIBLE .

He fucked up in my opinion. It should have been all about Viktor, way more interesting.Rocky can still appear. And it makes more sense than Apollo having an unknown illegitimate son all of the sudden.

This movie was INCREDIBLE. I can't say enough about this movie and the talent of MBJ and director Coogler. Stallone's acting was phenomenal. Everything about the movie......I cried, I smiled, I cheered. It felt truly like the ROCKY original movie! I was so impressed.
