I like to think that the reason Ganon won was because everybody else had a very pacifist mindset and thus never really made any complex weaponry, and the reason Link was chosen as the hero was simply because of his overwhelming capacity and love for violence.
It’s like Lobo from DC comics. His entire race is kind and passive, so the universe decided to balance them out by having just 1 really, really violent dude.
Now that someone has built a gun, im kind of surprised the zonai didn't ever create their own handheld laser guns, like you would imagine a highly advanced civilization would've done that. Imagine Link just tossing the master sword aside and shooting the hell out of Ganondorf
At 17:25 , the Howls Moving Castle build is actually incredibly accurate, if they were going for the broken down version from the movie. It looks like a platform with two legs, almost exactly like in the clip.
This game is completely next level.....the fact that the mechanics all work....while going through a massive open world...while having unique Characters, story, art style, puzzles, etc etc. Masterpiece. A real one.
For the really cool bike at 14:10 you could use a giant brightbloom plant on the front instead of the headlights. It doesn’t take power and it’ll light up a larger area. 😊
Lights are overall inferior to bright blooms as a lightsource, but the cool thing about the lights is that they act as kickstand to keep the bike upright when the stabilizer is off.
Using a literally free arm engine thing to power that swing was insane and I feel likemif utilized properly could be used to create some incredibly advanced machines
The content itself is not much. The puzzle itself is kinda straight fwd. Phantom ganon is indeed challanging. I think the reason for player spend thousand hour is just to torture korok or build thing like this. Content wise, not so much
@@tristherie5741 well, side quest kinda easy, help impa, get 4 elders, get master sword, then go to ganon. Explore dungeon below is easy if you not min max everything. I mean just upgrade to 2 battery bar, unlock shield/bow to 10 slot and weapon to 15 slot. Upgrade stamina to max and health to 7. Thats pretty enough to beat ganon. Not busting my days fighting lynel just to min max my armor

Theres an ultrabuild power you get in the depths. You can save the schematics of anything built recently and can immediately build something with nearby parts or use zonanite as a substitute. Its insanely valuable for those who like to build
Perhaps the greatest sin Nintendo committed with this game was their failure to add a feature that let us share designs similar to sharing Design Codes in Animal Crossing.
Nope, you actually have to use your brain with this game. I like that any clown just can't copy something and say they invented it. If you do manage to copy this gun, you are probably smart enough to create one of your own.
The absurdity of laughing at the skysurfer, then realizing it's Rocket Powered and laughing even harder juxtaposed to the roasting of the poor helpless Koroks had me wheezing! Just, "Oh and we're back to the torture."
If there’s one thing I wish was in this game was the ability to share these creations to the community. Uploading and sharing them for people to download would’ve been amazing!
@@Coldsilfur4 you can already do that. Once you finished building something you go into auto-build menu and favorite the last thing. Then you can spawn the thing, even if you don't have all the parts. If you don't have everything it costs Zonaite to build.
the segway at 9:00 has a new design that is significantly better where it uses two angled fans on the front and back that stops better and moves better
I can’t believe how TOTK was able to completely surpass BOTW! I can’t even imagine what they will develop for the next one! I mean there’s no limit to what you can do in this game!
now that i’ve beaten the main story and quests, it’s time to sink hours and hours and hours into exploration, side quests, and zonai device experiments and shenanigans.

If Nintendo has not already done so, they need an official creativity contest where the top spots get special Zelda items or something. There should seriously be a PR campaign around the creative aspect at work. Thanks for putting these together!
I’m pretty sure this classified Zelda ToTK as having game changing mechanics. Cuz the amount of things you can build and create with fusion is insane. Then you add in all the weapons and stuff u can fuse and arrows you can create with any object in your inventory. So people who where hating on the game just hadn’t seen the depth of what is here. And we keep seeing more and more cuz the creativity people have is nuts.
If there was dlc that let you alter a material's element like turn wood into metal, that would game change everything. Mind you, the only physics this game is missing is rope. I wonder if there is an actual chain in the game.
There are chains like those that connect your horse to the cargo tow and in shrines with objects hanging from them, so I feel like they could add a rope/chain ability of some kind if they wanted. Would open even more building possibilities for sure
Well I’ve seen these plugs that seal koroks in places that you have to pull out. Pretty sure those are chains or rope between the two items. So at least they do exist.

Technically in BotW Link does have one, the master cycle. You can kinda recreate one in this game. Actually I'm kinda miffed the Divine Beasts didn't come back in TotK or their spirit pilots. Would've been cool to have them play a part in the game or maybe even see Zonai Constructs or upgrades to them.
As an old guy that’s only played about 2 hours of TOTK, didn’t play BOTW at all, a grew up playing A Link to the past on SNES. This is a whole new ballgame. It’s deff Zelda and Link and such. But at the same time, this is a whole new game.

Early in the game I found the auto cannon you can build and it made everything so easy. Added 2 to some fights.

I even saw a person attach amber to the side of the wheels as a kickstand for a motorcycle.
Also bear in mind that throwing the brightbloom onto the vehicle will activate it. Attach first!

to be fair, Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts did something very similar. The only difference is Zelda has done it in a much better game.

I’ve only seen chains that are connected to metal balls in one of the shrines
There are stone slabs i found them underground, so tanks will not burn down

Actually I'm kinda miffed the Divine Beasts didn't come back in TotK or their spirit pilots. Would've been cool to have them play a part in the game or maybe even see Zonai Constructs or upgrades to them.

As an old guy that’s only played about 2 hours of TOTK, didn’t play BOTW at all, a grew up playing A Link to the past on SNES. This is a whole new ballgame. It’s deff Zelda and Link and such. But at the same time, this is a whole new game.
