Great vid Jess! Didn’t know about some of these places and they look amazing. I’ve never tried chicken and waffles. I’m not a fan of mixing sweet and savory. Chicken with sweet bbq sauce is tasty but maple syrup over chicken doesn’t seem appetizing
I'm so glad I could share some new spots for you to try! I do like a bit of sweet and savory, so it's a great mix. I'll admit, I thought it weird the first time, but I'd suggest going with someone who would get it so you can just try a bite ☺️
Burger looks good! I actually tried going to Burger Bar last night but too late (I've been trying to find the best burger in Amsterdam). So far, my favorite burger places are Happy Bull and the burger at Bar Bonnie.
Pendecast in Amsterdam, NL. for Kansas City style B-B-Q. I’m all in on that, when I crave midwest USA barbecue. Thanks for posting this location and to hear and see your posted video location(s) you have actually tried the food.
Everything looks so delicious! I've had chicken and waffles a few times here in the US, but what you got looked better than what I've had. It's really great to see some great spots for American food when you need that taste from home every once in a while!
I’m going to be in the Netherlands in September and have a local friend who craves kapsalon whenever he’s in the country. Where would you recommend for that in Amsterdam?
Not in the least, actually. I'm guessing you're talking about the cheesesteak. We just went so often and became friends with the owners and I felt comfortable to ask if he could say something. I don't know if you're new to the channel, but if we got something for free or as paid, I tell you.

lets look at the belgians and ask them what they think of americans putting chicken of their waffles...

The options are constantly getting better! I'll have to try these sometime, too. Thanks for the tip ☺️

Exactly! It's nice to have a taste of home. We have so many amazing cuisines in this city, that I hope to share more ☺️
A waffle isnt American though. Its Dutch/Belgian! Wafel we say
The combination is American. At least one form of it. And the waffles in the US are similar to Brussels style, true.

Sorry I missed this! I don't eat kapsalon, so I'm sorry to say I don't have any personal recommendations 😞
Wow you realy like your food! Great (and hungry making) video! 🍔🍟🍕👍😅
Oh yes! I really do. Also, there's just so much good food to share 😄
You can get great hamburgers at restaurants here in the Netherlands but the burgers you get at our fast food places called 'snackbars' just suck 😅.
Ohhh I'm talking about burgers at regular restaurants. They have a different texture! It's like they are more dense or something.
I really like Burgerbar. Excellent burgers and reasonably priced.
But fries with Mayo, (although delicious), is NOT very American! 😉
🤦 You are so right! Sorry for the misrepresentation 😂
"Promosm" 😔
