Excellent video! I nowadays even go gym with oil in my hair and wash it off due to time. It is funny, a lot of Indian women used to get made fun of especially in western countries for oiling, being 'smelly' but now everyone is chasing after this! I am glad you're showcasing this as it has so much benefits! :D
Awww i love it!! I always loved seeing my friends in elementary with oiled braids and when I learned about oil masks in early college years i couldn't go back hehe.
Love love love Question: do you think Ayurveda has longevity in modern world - considering AI and advancing technologies (where everyone is leaning towards tracking everything even blood sugar, food, fitness, metabolism, sleep etc) is there a place for ancient science and Ayurvedic practitioners in the future?
Thank youuuu Such a good question! My professor was just talking about this a few days ago but her point is that Ayurveda is unique in that it is ~time tested~ over thousands of years. There is documentation that spans generations on the science and validity of the methodology, it's just not your typical "double blind placebo controlled study." Ayurveda is the science of life and nature. As we as humans are of nature itself, the wisdom from this science can still apply and provide relief to imbalances.
