The first time I smelled Bleu de Chanel, I adopted it and now wear it everyday everywhere I go. I like smelling Bleu. This fragrance is a masterpiece.
The Parfum was the first and only version of Bleu I’ve ever smelled. Fell in love instantly and never felt compelled to try the others.

You get the jist of the fragrance I’m sure but I’m the same lol I’ll smell them when I can but even the Sauvage Parfum is so much more refined and pleasant than the other concentrations IMO, I’m sure I’d feel the same with BDC too. I like more skin scents anyway so it works out

Little late, but same here i bought like 20 or 30 perfume samples and i tried maybe 5 or 10 till i came to bleu de chanel perfume and I instantly knew thats it and i don't have to try any others. It's just so perfect and feels so natural. It's not too intense on others but at the same time it's always noticable. For me the best fragrence out there.

This is the first fragrance I’ve ever actually loved. Wow The hype is real. I just love it. It is exquisite
Great stuff. Its fresh and sharp but a little sweet in the background. Best part for me is that it last pretty long on my skin. Love using this scent.
I guess it doesn’t really matter but I love when Ash backs up my fragrance purchasing decisions. Love my BDC Parfum and it’s the first of the line I’ve bought. Think I made the right decision though, I’m a lavender fiend so maybe that’s part of what draws me to the fragrance so much. Didn’t know that was a note in it!
I do really like that fragrance houses like Chanel, bring the three concentrations to a men’s fragrance line, like they do to the women’s line. I don’t find it boring, not at all cuz every concentration brings a different olfactory experience, and I’m glad that some other companies are going into it. Cheers To you Ash! 👏

I have Bleu De Chanel EDT for quite a while and this is the first time I realize that you can actually twist the bottle cap to open instead of pulling it off jesus...

I finally picked up EDP. I first smelled it in a local store a couple of years ago and remember thinking how awesome it was. It's not cheap but less sprays are needed, so in the end, it's not that expensive.
How many sprays would you recommend and where?
Best video on the topic so far. I’ve been buying the EDT and EDP but mainly the EDP. I’ll give the Parfum a pass based off projection alone

For me this one is great all year round but I really like this for nights but specifically in the fall/winter.

Great review. BdC Parfum is a stone cold masterpiece. The whole line is incredible but I think Parfum is the best of them all.
How was the projection? Better than Y edp?
@@Reyzzzd it’s not super strong projection. Y EDP has better projection overall but Bleu de Chanel smells drastically better, at least imo.

Nice review Ashton. I have the edt in my collection, which I luv rocking in the summer. However, I want to add the edp to my collection but I've heard the edp has been reformulated and performance is terrible. Do you know exactly when the edp was reformulated? Thanks

Honestly just wearing a fragrance already gives you an edge since quite a lot of guys don't and while some fragrances are more common than others people do have different tastes and preferences so if you avoid those few currently overused fragrances and focus on finding another scent that you like personally, chances are actually high that you're the only smelling that way within your group of friends, relatives, acquaintances...

Honestly it’s the perfect fragrance. After trying tons of samples over the years, I’ve simmered down my collection to two frags: OG spicebomb for the cold, BdC parfum for the heat.
Won't you smell like everyone else?
This is true about your choice I've always said that if you need a coveralls type scent for seasons then the OG" spicebomb and blue de chanel parfum have definitely covered it
Not everyone wear Chanel parfum.. I don’t smell this anyone. And I have tons of complements on parfum at work..

I wear BdC Parfum to the office in the winter. It’s fantastic, rich, and sits closer to the skin than its brothers. Perfect in that situation.

BDC parfum is phénoménal, compliment beast,women love it
I wore the eau de parfum for over a year and loved it. Then when I bought a new bottle it smelled of nothing, really weak. I found out that they had changed the recipe (why did they do that?) and got a refund. What a shame!
I now use Gio profundo which is even nicer - to my nose :)
I bit the bullet and paid full retail for the parfum. Tiff Benson and Bowtie fragrance guy both prefer the parfum so after careful consideration…i chose that one. And when i eventually run out, i will purchase again. It’s the most versatile fragrance in my modest collection.
I honestly don’t think there’s any other option but to buy full retail if Chanel has anything to say about it😂

BDC Parfum is a MASTERPIECE. Any time, season, and situation. No one in my social circle wears it. Spend the money and set yourself apart. Dylan Blue is a great one too.

@@dnareti get a full bottle. I only order mine from Chanel so I know it's legit. It'll last a while. I've had this bottle for several years and still have plenty left.

I love the scent but it doesn't project which is fine. It smells stunning
I rock with the parfum I feel it just last so much longer on my skin and the fresh kick opening note is a Goldilock sweet spot.

I love the scent, but I also have a problem with the EDP not lasting long. But I just spray a bit more. Scent wise, the best perfume I've ever bought

As much as I like the parfum and the whole line really, the incense in the edp is what really sets it apart from the rest, also the performance on the edp is great for a designer, great balance of projection/longevity
All three are very distinctive and blended very well but my choice and the only one I own, if I had to pick just one.. BDC Parfum is my winner.
Bleu de chanel parfum is my favorite evenings out.
love this stuff, just got another bottle because my last was out, for me it’s the best in the BDC lineup. as far as performance goes, the parfum outshines the edt and edp by a lot. for me it performs and projects and lasts wonderfully. had a friend ask me if i resprayed my cologne around 5-6 hours after i had actually sprayed it, he said it still smells just as strong as earlier. that was just awesome to me.
This is the only one from the line that I not only enjoy but that I've bought & will likely buy again. "Blue' and Aquatics are my least favourite families, but BDC Parfum is really well done.
I always said it ever since the realease, this is the best Bleu de Chanel. I sold my EDT as soon as I got this one. But unfortunately most people always go by what others say

I have a 10 oz bottle. If I only wore one scent this would be it. Perfection.
The parfum is definitely the best one it's a bit darker, more masculine and lasts longer
I own the EDP, but I prefer the Parfum. May pick up a bottle of that real soon

My Bleu de Chanel Parfum magnetic cap is not perfectly centered. Bought it from Macy's and didn't realize it until I was home. I am not an avid collector but I have a handful of fairly popular higher end designer fragrances.... should I make this a thing or just be happy with what I have. It still smells amazing and I love it nonetheless. If I were to want to resell this, at some point... idk if it would cause as issue. Thank you in advance.
Fabulous fragrance! Classic and Forever
I’ve never smelled the EDT, but the Parfum (compared to the EDP) is very different. It’s deep, creamy.. it has depth. It’s classy. It’s very overstated. I think it’s a very posh scent.
Do you think the Parfum is smoother and pleasant to the nose compared to the EDP? There is this "scratchiness" maybe from the incense+ginger in the EDP that gives me headaches when wearing it
A little bit late is an understatement. But its now crossed off the list of what will they watch
I have had all 3 and the parfum works the best for me.
The parfum actually lasted the longest on my over all of them. Love this juice. Classic clean and easy to wear.
I've had more compliments with the Parfum than the EDP and the longevity is amazing (for me it actually lasted more than 12 hours.)
Parfum is the only one I own. The others never won me over. 1st time smelling Parfum, and I was hooked. My wife was with me and her eyes rolled back when she smelled it. Simple yet deep

Chanel Bleu was the original blue frag and still the best by a mile. The parfum is best for top ups at work because the opening blast is tamed
As I put it, the original Bleu frag, not blue. That is, the utilitarian blue abstracted out to a more chic, upscale scent.
This and the edt are my favorites… 🥰
Got a brand new, BDC Parfum, 100ml on the way for $120 including shipping. I'm pumped! Now I have to go to Macy's between March 25 and April 3 to get %15 odd the Edt version. I'm set for Spring and Summer!

I’ll say this. As you mentioned performance. You’re right it does depend on other people’s skin. But I do feel like that if you the smell to last longer on your skin, apply non scented lotion on your pulse points and then apply the fragrance. As it’ll hold on longer. But I’d also maybe spray it at least 5 to 6 times. Maybe layer it a little bit if you want to boost its performance. Or just add a couple or a few sprays on your cloths, as the smell does last longer on fabric.
The Blue De chanel and more the EDP version I think is quite similar in depth to the armani code.
It is as they have taken it and developed it.
I would like your opinion on this suspicion of mine.
This is one of my favorites, I was excited for ysl y parfum but this is actually done much better.
I tried Y before trying BdC parfum and I can assure you that the Channel versions are a way more loveable than Y.
@@momentsofjoy6396 Yup even though I like Y EDP, I just find BDC is smoother and more refined. I generally find Chanel's quality to be a bit higher than other designers.
To be completely honest to me all 3 smell so similar it's hard to find the differences.
I own the EDT and love the scent and it's affordable. When comparing this to the EDT Sauvage I personally love the BDC scent more but Sauvage just trumps it with its projection and longevity which is disappointing. I personally love the EDP more than the EDT for Sauvage as the vanilla note adds a level of elevation which the EDT lacks.
I have a suggestion: pop into a perfume store/department and spray the EDP on one wrist and the Parfum on the other. Leave it for around 30 minutes and you should notice that each concentration has a different dry down. The Parfum is beautifully blended. It’s darker and woodier but has an almost powdery hint. The lower alcohol content means that it doesn’t project as far as the other versions but I think it’s more of a subtle power fragrance. I reach for the Parfum when I’m formally dressed. Hope this helps.
@@mtedwards Is the parfum actually subtle? Have had some issues with fragrances in the past that in my opinion project too much (even with very few sprays)
@@laiks5485 the Parfum is strong…it’s the projection that’s subtle. After a couple of hours it becomes a skin scent. Those in close proximity to you should pick up the scent trail.

As i was running low on my BDC EDT, i decided to blind test BDC EDP vs Parfum, and the Parfum won easily. So thats what i bought, and I love the dry down. its a perfect daily driver for all occasions.

That’s a great way to describe it. Smells amazing but only people who hug you or stand very close are going to notice it. Indoor scent.
Definitely will use it for my grandma who hates smelling cologne off people unless it's a hug

How would you rate the three Bleu fragrances against YSL Y EDP?

Bdc parfum or y edp for the office? And is there a huge difference between their performance?
I feel like the Parfum has a more "formal" kind of scent. Something you'd put on for the Oscars haha and the toilette and eau de parfum you'd put on for the club or goin out with friends... ?? I really like the Parfum a lot
I think BDC(I have the EDP) makes me go nose blind when I wear it. Other people smell it on me when I Don't smell it. Definitely a big compliment getter, especially in the high heat.
I have the EDP also, outside I can smell it for about 2 hours, but inside when its bit cooler it lasts really long. So I think it makes you noseblind really easy but yeah it lasts.

It for sure makes you noseblind. I did 4 sprays of BdC Parfum just to try it out, and during family dinner they said the scent is filling the room and is a bit much. Might go just 1-2 sprays from now on, especially when in the office.
Man Ash I miss this studio Back drop is so beautiful.
Parfum was very smooth and creamy (iso e?) but lacks projection compared to EDP. Makes sense since it's the alcohol in EDP that makes it project. Parfum lasts longer but more of a skin scent. So different applications, parfum for intimate settings and EDP/EDT for just a out any situation.
EDP, with Parfum slated as my next buy!

This is one of my top 3 favorite colognes
I got a free sample of this, and while i like it, i can't wear it as it gave me my first aura migraine. It is also the only Parfum concentration I have tried so that might be why.
I was lucky enough to purchase BDC parfum back in 2018 when it wasn’t too expensive. Still have half a bottle left. Still to this day, one of my favorite fragrances in my collection.
How much did it cost you.?
Paid 140 bucks this week for the parfum. Not too bad.

The EDT is such an iconic scent
Sauvage and BLEU DE CHANEL are the absolute kings, period.
@@dosbaddel7436 Sauvage is a scent I just don’t get at all. Comes off like a turbocharged cheap spray deodorant to me. My wife also absolutely hated it so the ‘crowd pleasing’ factor didn’t really come into play either.
@@EOTA564 opposite for me. I think all blue kings bow to sauvage edt. That being said, I just bought ysl y edp and bleu de chanel today and haven't worn long enough to decide if they challenege the king. That being said, versache Dylan blue, invictus, nautica voyage don't even compare for me. Only one that I like in the same ball park as sauvage thats clean is adg profumo
@@EOTA564street comparisons vs BDC almost always has Sauvage as the winner. Scents are subjective but there is a reason Sauvage is the top selling cologne the past decade.

I have a lot of blue fragrances and although I don’t have the BDC parfum , I have the EDP and it’s my favorite blue fragrance
edp smells like kourous. edt is best.

The Parfüm is the Best from the Line 🤩
I enjoy wearing the EDT and the EDP. The Parfum doesn’t work with my skin. The mint note actually projects off my skin in a way that is not pleasant to my nose.

For me it’s between the EDP and the Parfum. I think the Parfum smells the best but the edp has slightly better performance.

It depends is your skin Type, I spray both on skin and clothes and it lasts. 8 to 10 hours it was still going very strong on me. I was surprised it was a 2021 bottle too. I got a 50 Ml to try out the performance gonna get the 100 ml next. I even thought about 150 ml but I’m not because I’m getting the other 2. The EDT and Parfum as well.
Two years ago, a buddy sprayed BDC on me and it got me laid. Didn’t know much about fragrances back then, so didn’t look into it. The last few months, I’ve gotten to having fragrance staples that fit my personality. I smelled the EDT and EDP, but they didn’t sit well with me. When I smelled the parfum, it was a no brainer purchase. Bought it today.

Hey friends , this is parfum version of best bleu scent .
I am a big guy. My skin is always warm, oily, sometimes wet. Edt sits on me for 1 hour and then it disappears, Edp for 2 hours, Parfum is amazing as it lasts near 4 hours.
It is heavier, it is darker, however it IS the strongest Bleu, it projects and lasts longer.
The parfum has a sweetness that I'm not sure about. The edp had the freshness of the edt and the richness of the parfum.
