Target panic is the fear of missing. So either shoot and not care where the arrow goes or gain the confidence that you know the arrow will go where you want. Those are your only choices. Hopefully by shooting close to your target and then when comfortable move out to normal ranges. Also, trying to aim and thinking about getting the shot off at the same time is a hard for any shooter... forget about the release of the shot... focus on aiming only. I'm one of the best trigger archers out there and you can get by this. If you are not getting better then put the bow down for 6 months and then start over. Trigger panic is just a bad habit... good luck.
Funny you should say that. Two summers ago I was in the Ardennes (you know, where they fought out the Battle of the Bulges in WW2). I was on a similar spot as Keith, high up the ridge in nomansland. I did throw a nice size rock down the gap...and to my horror I heard someone screaming about 200 meters downlow...turned out my rock missed him by a razor and tipped his stetson of his head. He was very angry, I was SHOCKED...so we got drunk together, and never mentioned the rock-incident again.
how can that broadhead be on the other side of the elk if the arrow was sticking out 26 inches from the elk shoulder, theirs a lot better broadheads then that one for elk . I use solid broadhead for big animal moose elk bear I don't take chances on Mechanicals I had bad experiences with them

Beautiful country, what's the closest city
Snakehead4 Chama is the closest town, and I'd say Espanola is the closest small city.
Terrila amarrila is the closest town
Unless you go to alamosa

You sure you didn't hit an elk when you chunked that rock over the edge? lol
