Beautiful morning! Rocks everywhere, nice, great day! Nice first agate, love the waves crashing, that's peaceful. Porphyry is cool, seen agate day cut a few too. Sone great agates today, nice! I like when people leave rockhounding love notes for the next to find! I wonder what's in the bottom of that river, any rocks!

So, that river...though near the Lakeshore...is only a sand bottom...no stones... 😢 But it was a beautiful morning! And thank you for the nice comment on our agates! Oh, tin tin and I went to a wedding near Petoskey mi...we went out to the gravel parking lot and found some Petoskey stones and some banded chert that looks similar to your railroad chert. It was a lot of fun. We made a video about it. I hope to post it soon. Have a great week!

@upperpeninsulabeautiful that's awesome, maybe that came be the source or closure to the source, I've always wanted to find it, bigger pieces! Yeah, most of the rivers around me are sand bottom too. Which makes me wonder if the rocks on my river are from when the bridges where built. Because it's only in this spot really, up and down stream are mostly sand for miles until the next big newer bridge.

So refreshing to enjoy the beauty and surprise finds but especially to hear your praises to the Creator of it all. Go safe in His love and peace.
