0:21 VS 1:52 3:08 VS 4:18 Thank me later folks. Definitely A for me, B sounds a little thin and recessed in the mids, like the singer took a step back or their lips were further away from the mic. I want my mids to pop and take center stage, as they should. B is also less airy on top and rolled off, somewhat more blunt. I cant hear anything that I like on B more than A. Listened on the 6xx.
Great idea! An A B sound test blind, and audiophiles worst nightmare 😂 because we invest so much in our equipment we don't like being wrong. B to me sounds better, A reminds me of cheap digital sources.
B sounds more open, more reverb, and brighter. A sounds more focused, but less sparkle. Both different not necessarily better. If I had to choose I think that A is more accurate but B is more engaging.
I like A better. B seems less distinct. The bass sounds have less detail, and are less revealing of the various tones and overtones. And maybe the treble is rolled off? I have old rock and roll ears, so high treble rolls off naturally, and I leave this judgement to the kids. 😊 And BTW, as I was typing this, something didn't sound so good, and I glanced at the screen. The screen had a big B on it. And if selection B was run through Thomas' new amp, please assume that I don't know what I'm talkin about. Edit: I went to the poll and it seems that I am badly outvoted. So I went back to the samples and tried it again. That caused me to reaffirm my original conclusion.
@@ThomasAndStereo I agree, but only partially. If two systems or components are similarly competent, then it truly becomes a matter of taste But there are objective differences too. A clock radio doesn't sound better than a competent system, no matter how deluded the listener may be.
B is by far better. In fact I'm surprised by the votes for A. B is more spacious, harmonic, separated, rhythmic, superior in every way. B is like you walked into a real event with proper acoustics. A is flat like a photograph.
so I blue toothed to the TV system and on JBL 530s B sounds smaller, but the Voice on B2 4th track seamed more focused. much more bloom with A1. Using my phone I can tell differences but it's a little more apparent on the loudspeakers. Well that was fun 😊
A 00:00
B 1:30
A 3:00
B 4:10
🤗👍LISTENING AGAIN 😁😍😍😍
A draws me in and keeps my attention. B sounds good, but I could walk away.
Interesting,I love this, you're doing a job that make any audiophile/music lover realize what is the BETTER sound he/she is supposed to look for.

🤗 actually I love ❤️ blind comparisons …🤷♂️what does this mean 😁😍😍😍
B sounds like phases inverted on my dac
B is darker but with a peaky mid treble IMO

A
Switching between Class A and AB?
B seemed more laid-back with better clarity and detail (for me).
Hard to tell on my phone but "A" seems to have more distortion.
I like A better.

Everything is a question of taste. So if you prefer A, then A it is. No right or wrong.

@@EskWIRED Haha, well said.
Agreed. I prefer A
B seemed more clean and crisp in background and vocals.

It must depend on the gear and preferences, because I had the exact opposite experience!
'A' sounds a little distorted compared to 'B' which btw has more clarity.
Now go on, make me a fool! 😄

B felt smoother overall, more musical and less fatiguing.
B is more relaxed. I can get the same differences in my system just by changing some settings in Roon And on my pre amp. No $ difference.

A sounds a bit too bright to me. B sounds more well balanced, IMO

I like B
Try some no-rez and tube connectors it will brighten up the B sample.
Is that you Danny? ☺️
LISTENING AGAIN,THOMAS 🤗 UNDISTURBED 👩🦰 😁for the first time on my system with volume 😎💚💚💚
