There's a lot of people in the RAE community that are still reeling over the loss of Snap's show over ten years ago. It was really well maintained, the characters looked awesome, and a lot of people say that his show was their favorite setup.
The maleficent animatronics like to catch fire. They don’t always burn to the ground either. I saw the main one for the big show briefly go up years ago. It wasn’t an impressive fireball, and was already hidden by the water screen. My family joked for years saying Mickey went all out with the pyro technics that night.
I also made jokes about Maleficent animatronics, where Maleficent really needs to get her dragon powers under control… and there’s also Mickey’s magic fluctuating that caused bigger impact on Maleficent than intended. I guess even Mickey still needs to get his sorcerer powers as well? 😅
I worked at Six Flags Great Adventure for years in their entertainment department. The aera that the haunted house stood was directly next to the theater I performed in. The site was completely walled off and wasn't used for anything until 2019. On a very busy night, my cast had to be escorted threw the walled off section to make it around crowds. It wasn't until we were in the space that any of us realized where we were. It was very unsettling. Our theater was also known to be haunted, mainly by a young girl's spirt. I would have late night rehearsals in that theater and would always hear things in the dark. Very spooky and sad. I always thought it was a bad idea to build something on the area but a big company like Six Flags isn't going to pass up open space.
After the Haunted Castle fire, fans who cared actually created a touching makeshift memorial for those whose lives were lost. However, the powers that be at Six Flags Great Adventure didn't seem to care enough about the incident (after all, due to the attraction originally being considered seasonally temporary in spite of its popularity, it lacked any proper safety guidelines, which in turn, led to the blaze getting out of hand & subsequently consuming the fan favorite attraction, as well as killing 8 of the 30 guests inside), despite being liable for gross negligence. The key reason I say that those in charge at Six Flags Great Adventure didn't care about what happened was because after the tragedy had occurred, repeat parkgoers who visited after the fact pointed out that in an arcade area next to the bumper cars that was adjacent to where the Haunted Castle used to be, there was a particular video game that seemed to be rather tasteless on the grounds that it appeared to make light of the tragedy, as the entire premise of the game in question was to, quite literally, escape a burning castle. Some have even theorized that this specific area in itself was now taken over by the souls of the 8 who perished in the Haunted Castle fire, so many began to criticize Six Flags Great Adventure for the....ahem....inflammatory & rather insensitive video game that existed so close to where the Haunted Castle itself had once been.
So, hot take about the Creative Engineering explosion, if you'd pardon the pun. It was 100% Aaron Fechter's fault. The gas, Carbohydrillium, was not only extremely unstable, but also stored improperly in a tank that was not suited for the kind of gas he was making.
I'm a big Five Nights At Freddy's fan, and I have been for years, and I like the fact that this channel, even if they don't talk about five nights at freddy's, they atleast reference it with adding a bit of audio from the games or an image of one of the many animatronics from that franchise
I remember the Rock Afire Explosion set that got burnt in Snap's Museum. From what I remember the smoke machine they installed in the pipes of Fatz's keyboard was responsible. There is a video from 2010 with low quality audio of the smoke machine running like normal in the Tune Machine skit, it was added to create new visuals to the show.
The thing is, it could've been prevented had Snap not left his museum to go somewhere when the blaze started. But, then, Snap himself would've been putting himself in danger had he stayed.
The stories of Dracula’s castle and that guy’s Rockafire Explosion and 80s collection burning made me so sad. Dracula’s castle looked so cool and I would have loved to go there; it’s a shame it was never rebuilt. And that poor man spent so much time and money amassing a collection of retro collectibles and things he loved, only for it to all go up in flames. 😢
I remember hearing about the Okefenokee and the design alone seems terrifying, but seeing the little carrot dudes or something dying in front of me would definitely cause trauma. 👍
11:16 I grew up going to OC New Jersey every summer so I was shocked when I heard about the Castaway Cove fire. It also seems to have destroyed the two shops next to it, a Dairy Queen on one side and a hamburger place on the other
I’ve been a fan for years so imagine my surprise when your first entry is something I grew up with! I always used to love going to look at Dracula’s castle as a kid but was also too scared to go in! I remember when it burned down and now that I’m an older horror lover I’m sad I never got to fully experience it. It’s still a fondly remembered landmark of the town, they just painted a mural of it on the side of the Boardwalk Mall, a couple blocks down from Nickles pier. Great video as always!! 🖤🖤🖤
The wildwood part isn't fully accurate. The waterpark has already taken over Wildwood from the nickel family while the castle was there. One of the castles towers was even retrofitted as a slidetower. This is probably also why they didn't rebuild it: it didnt fit in the waterpark

Aw, man... I go to Ocean City at least once a year, and yet I never knew about Playland or its giant parrot & pirate entrance... now I'm sad that I never got to see it.
My family and I live in the east coast of America. My mom and her brothers were fortunate enough to be able to experience Draculas castle in Wildwood because that’s where they would go for vacation while growing up!
Sometimes I forget how incredible you guys are when it comes to video creation but I'm never going to forget again because that intro was amazing!

Snaps blasts museum fire was caused because of the smoke machine over heated and started flames in fats organ as he was programming a Halloween show
