Knock sensors, starter, manifold gaskets and check all connectors. Might want to change ocv valves as well

the smoke may just be the valve cover gaskets, common leak on the UZ

Try and just tighten the valve cover bolts a bit over time they get lose and it would leak on to the exhaust and make smoke.

Great suggestion! The smoking it up dissipating now that the car has ran for a little bit! I think that it just had sat for so long. It just needed a nice long idle session!!
