Yes I like a place where we can be ourselves….I watch a lot of reactors and “Army” became vicious on several channels and I simply said i didn’t like these rap lyrics…I was shredded to the point of questioning if I wanted to be known as army….we definitely have tiers of Army those who get mad if you disagree and those who are able to realize people have differing opinions but treat people with respect all the same
@@angie7777-7I think the issue is that a lot of ARMYs who have not been exposed to hiphop much outside of BTS are actually misinterpreting the lyrics and judging them on that basis. If you just dont like explicit references no matter if Jack is making fun of himself or not, then that's a different issue. Just make sure you're clear on that.

I think they're just saying that they are adults and should be given the room to express themsleves and their experiences of adult themed things in their music without feeling that they should silence themsleves. I've seen a lot of people hate on them in chapter 2 for expressing themsleves in this way because they feel entitled to them making music in ways they deem fit, which is unfair. I definitely don't agree that a song can only represent adulthood if it has cussing or sex, but BTS as adults should be allowed to sing about that if they want to.

Jacks verse is literally him making fun of himself from the past but also commenting on what ppl said about him for dating ppl. Nobody is disrespecting women… ppl tend to see certain words and make the assumption that they’re directed towards the females… when in reality he’s talking specifically about himself and how he was seen… not the girls. The scene with jack and the girls are visual representations of chess… bc the whole thing is around that concept… all the black clothed ppl in the back when jk is all in white with his group of ppl …. The kid on the horse … another chess piece , the guy sitting down w the two toned hair ….. jack and jk representing the two kings…. And one main fact in chess that ppl completely miss is that chess is all about the “queens,” they’re the ones with the most power 😊

Some are saying how bad the rap part is, about lyrics blah blah but those same people are hyping AI covers of our rap line doing this part? When I pointed out that, they told me "Why so pressed? Just enjoy the music this is just Ai cover" Suddenly, all the bad lyrics topics are gone…I can sense some (probably solo stans) are finding excuses not to support 3D. If you don’t like the explicit lyrics and JK’s new music, that’s fine. No one forces you to listen to it, you have the right to dislike and to express your dislike. But some are intentionally stirring the problem in the comments as if all ARMY are underage and innocent and don’t like this kind of music. Our fandom has such a great diversity of ages and people so don't attack those who are enjoying this type of music. Also, don't attack this kind of creator who wants to keep their channel family-friendly.
1:56 I think something ppl have to grasp with jungkook is that he doesn’t have one style of music lol if you listen to all the songs that he has a main creative control with lyrics or production…. so now that they're big enough to do whatever they want it's no surprise that he chose english songs with this style as his singles
they just announced that his album 'GOLDEN' is coming out NOV 3rd and it has 10 songs including the 2 singles seven & 3d.. I'm not sure if it's gonna be a full english album or it was just the singles but we have to wait and see

The dead body reference: I've seen/heard some interpret this as talking abt women & it being problematic considering yes there's systemic issue of harm in relation to women, men & sex. Most especially when a woman refuses advances.
However, broken down in context I think the part abt the dead body in combo w/ the visual in the MV is actually what is being misinterpreted by some:
This can be partly fault of the visual direction (director). Him stepping over a 'dead body' was intended to be 'kitchy' or funny but I think it could be misinterpreted that he's talking about the girl... when actually he's talking about himself! (Wait rly?, yes)
"When I seen that body"
(When he saw her)
"you would think it was a dead body"
(He was stopped dead in his tracks so -he- was like a dead body. Another way saying she's 'drop dead gorgeous')
"The way I told my boys, "Come look"
(He told his friends come look at her like, wow)
📍This is also kind of a reference from a cpl movies probably the one most may be familiar with is 'Stand by Me' but it's also from 'Boyz in the Hood'
Is the verse creative or amazing, no but he def. wasn't talking about a woman atp except to say he saw one that was sp "drop dead" gorgeous he couldn't help but tell his friends to also come look.
📍This verse wasn't a way to say she was in any state of being unable to consent to an encounter or that he was calling his boys to come take their turn.
The following verse talks about what he -used to do- vs what he feels now:

And steal they hearts like some crook, true story" - PAST
"Now when I hold somebody's hand, it's a new story" - PRESENT
How I took this part is his view is kinda changing on the way he views women. In particular, the woman he is currently 'with'.
Again next verses seems like he's back in the 'past' of how he'd viewed his relationship to & expected reactions from women, especially considering his current "status" so this part is speaking from the bravado pov of a man:

I mean some parts of the visual direction were indeed confusing but most of it is just so in your face, it's completely unjustified how some people took it out of proportion and did try build a mis0gyny narrative, because it's clear they were not approving shaming woman, the MV visually is literally a battle (chess match) of perspectives, it's not because a movie for example show wrong things being done that it means whoever is showing that approves what is being done, pratically the opposite as it can be actually criticizing said things.
