- By placing a camera object in your project, you can animate panning and zooming around your scene, or move backward and forward on the Z axis to create a feeling of depth! You can also take advantage of focus blur and animate its parameters! And with fog, you can simulate a thicker atmosphere, partially obscuring more distant layers.

could correct the following bugs:
-Fonts cannot be imported in current versions
-Groups lower the quality in the preview and sometimes affect the export quality

Re Fonts: Do you have "Imported" selected? If that is not selected, then imported fonts won't appear in the list. If you do have that on, do you get any error, or does it just fail silently? Could you please contact support@alightcreative.com and let them know? Please follow the instructions in the automatic reply to reach human support.
About Groups, please let us know more information about that as well. To improve performance, you may this if is the group is very heavy, but this should not affect export quality. Please make sure to explain this in detail so we can start an investigation thank you!

For groups you can just make a shape on the top of the grup then go to blending > mask

Hi! So I’ve been using Alight Motion quite a while now and I really like it! The only thing I have a problem with is reversing videos and slowing them up and down. It’s really hard to make velocity or sometimes the speed just turns choppy. I think you should make speed graphs like in other apps and a setting for reversing videos. I think it would really be so much easier and convenient!

I prefer the previous version which is not too lag when editing or exporting, because in this version I feel a very significant difference in lag, although there are some new effects that help but I prefer Alight Motion which is not lagging 🙏

I love editing in alight motion, but I'm new to the app, but I was learning, with the 4.0 update, my videos aren't exporting right, can I change the editor version? I find it much easier to edit in alight 3.8.0 (I don't remember if that was the version I used)

Please add 3D camera point of view, x, y and z rotation, scale, position. I know how hard it is to do it, but so many apps have this feature. If Alight motion bring it, I'll certainly not need to use other apps to complete my edits. And I forgot to say, thank you for your amazing app! 😍❤️

the new features are good, but unfortunately there are some bugs in this latest Alight Motion, namely in the group section, group masking, and color correction, hopefully in the future it will be good, keep the spirit😊🙏

Hello, alight creative team. Some of the features I'd like to see is some kind of video time remapping or twixtor. Increased performance for devices lower than the recommended Ram. That is it for now, I wish for the team's reader's and your team's safety.

How do you use the camera without it covering up other layers that you don’t want it to cover?
I edited the camera with a certain text layer and when I preview the camera layer or try to export it, the camera layer covers the correct text layer, but then also covers a different and separate text layer that I don’t want it to cover…
Hello! This may be an issue due to the Z coordinates of your layers. Like a real camera, it will see anything that is placed in front of it within a certain angle. To hide the text layer, you want to hide, that layer should either be outside that angle, or behind some other layer. Setting the Z coordinate value will let you determine how far back you want that layer to be. Hope that helps!

Hello! The first camera you add becomes the default camera for the whole project. Perhaps this is the issue? So my am is lagging when I use effects such as linear streaks and motion blur. Like it just lags just before the effect and also many people are experiencing them. Hope you will correct it or do about it
I installed the 8.0 ver first,it had the same problem
Then I tried the 9.0 ver but still lags
Then I tried the 10.2 ver but it still has the exact problem🥲

hello alight motion!! I just wanna say that thankyou so much for this feature.
But it's just that sometimes, my layers always glitch when I do the camera movement/null cam movements when I export the project . The layers kept blinking and glitching. Is there any solution to that?
One time I solved it by adjusting the z position of each layer so that they only have very little difference in depth. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Is there any solution to this problem if I want my layers to have big differences in z positions from each other ?

How will it affect 3d objects like cubes? Will it look 2.5D or have depth unlike the others
The current 3D objects we have are 2D projections of a 3D object, so they will not have depth, like other layers.

Have you guys updated Alight Motion 4.0 yet? my phone updated to Alight Motion 4.0 from yesterday, today I went to review it it's a different interface I'm really excited to see what effects Alight Motion updated, and I've prepared everything to edit until when blur it only makes the border proportionally, not the angle blur with position bla bla… but i just went to edit 5p i just added 1 blur but my device started to heat up and drain the battery very fast, i feel weird because the phone i use to edit it is iphone 11 i have never seen it so laggy anyone like me when updating to alight motion 4.0?

Is there any way to get alight motion back like before? I don’t like this new update and I can’t crop my photos like before, I have to manually do it in MY photo gallery rather than in the app.

Hello! Just wanted to ask how to fix this so basically I added a camera object and a null and I did 3d movement. But then when I added a new overlay it copy's the same 3d movement but I did not add a camera object. Sorry if you dont understand I don't know how to explain it.

When you add a camera object it applies to everything in your scene, so if you add more layers, they will also be affected by the camera. Was that the issue? If not, please contact our support team, and they'll see if something has gone wrong, or try to walk you through any issues you may have. Hello! Please enter your project, and then tap the plus button, and then tap Media. In there, tap the button with the name of the current folder, and then choose the "Sample Media" folder. Then you can see all of the Sample Media we have on offer!
The problem is you can't animal layers above in the null which is a problem also the lag is a little far worse then before

Does anyone know how to fix it 😭 in the editor the camera works very well, but when I export it it changes completely and the images move but the cameras stays in the same place which ruins my edits 😭😭
What's the difference of camera objects and move and transform key frames? I don't mean to disrespect though, but I think you can also manipulate the scene by key frames move and transform.
Hello! The Camera behaves slightly different from other layers, which is why it has its own camera properties panel. For example, moving the camera up, will make it look like the other layers are moving down, which is different from other layers. There are a few other differences like this.
You can definitely manipulate the scene with Move & Transform, however moving the camera by itself may be easier in some cases!
You guys really managed to make an after effects type editing app for phones😭😭
But there is still a very difficult meeting, and sometimes I cannot design light motion because of it

How do you use the z axis on a mac whenever i try to swipe/interact with it it doesnt move the zaxis just the x and y axis even when i click on the z axis it just switches back to x and y
