Stealth is a bit of a misnomer in this game, it really should have just been dodge or something since all it does is raise your AC. It makes Rogues/Ninjas/Monks viable "tank" characters in the early game and keeps them competitive with heavy armor wearers in the late game.
I'm really loving this series, got me into playing the game again and I just beat it. I wanna leave a tip since I haven't seen it mentioned. I think the mage's best spells are Freeze Flesh and Freeze all, they can take several enemies out of the fight and unlike sleep, don't get knocked out of it from damage and melee attacks do extra damage to them as well. Also later on I find mass instant death spells to be really useful, more than other games of the type.
I was hoping you'd try and sleep in their beds. I'm looking forward to two levels from now for Auld since you mentioned something happens at stat 100 I believe.
IMPORTANT PROTIP: Friendly NPCs (anyone in green on the minimap) will NOT be hit by any damaging spells. throw out all the AoE you want. They take no EXP, the only "downside" is that you will have fewer rounds of combat to train skills. (or, depending on your viewpoint,t hey may block a doorway you want to go through or something). IMPORTANT PROTIP: 31:00 Monster drops are random off of a drop-table, and treasure chests have a pseudo-random drop based on what chest it is, but items just found on the ground are 100% guaranteed to be exactly the same everytime 12:30 they absolutely will help you... but they wont initiate the combat themselves. they have to be "in play" when you start the fight. 24:30 lategame mages arent the end all be all... that said, Shrill Sound isn't the best of spells against these specific targets.
hey, I've got some strange issue. I have a mook in my party and he doesn't want to leave it for visiting her relatives after speaking to the hologram, is this normal?
Great video as always! Looking forward to more episodes. :)
Look around for guards and move toward them, that's what I do! :)
lol

I'll keep that in mind!

I've clicked on the beds, they don't do anything.
In this case I meant more figuratively as you are camping in their rooms.
Avatar tax time. :D
