- In this video, I teach How To Walk Silently Through the Woods Like a Ninja. I demonstrate Historical Ninjutsu Stealth Walking (Shinobi Aruki) Training Techniques. In the Ninja Martial Arts, some of the secrets of walking through the woods and high foliage are to connect to the elements, take advantage of the terrain, control your breathing and the proper transfer of weight.

This lesson covers “Shinobi Ashi” (silent step) and “Nusubito Ashi” (thief step) which are methods of ninja silent walking (Shinobi Aruki) within classical shinobijutsu: mokuton/mokuton-no-jutsu training.

This lesson is directly for the practitioners of the ancient Japanese koryu martial arts of the ninja and samurai, such as ninjutsu (ninpo) and bujutsu (budo).
