You're completely right. Arcane has thought me 2 very valuable lessons. 1. True perfection is not in perfection alone but a fusion with imperfections. Therefore embrace your imperfections if you wish to be truly perfect. 2. Patience which is something everyone is lacking except for singed who was also focused on his mission which is why he succeeded.
Looking further into the arcane characters I realized many were afraid to mess up, although it's just the beginning of their story. This pressures people to rush things and inevitably perform worse. Heimierdinger says this himself in his song, "Go and make some mistakes, you live and you learn." however, with singed he's not afraid to make mistakes since he knows it's part of the process.
I think Jayce is a great representation of this, since in season one all he wants to do is "play it right." such as his thoughts on what hex tech should be, and if the people are on board.
I was surprised at how much my closest friend disliked the fact that Singed got what he wanted at the end. It upsets my friend that a karma houdini who caused so much death and destruction can suffer no consequences and get a happy ending. I told my friend that I didn't mind cuz that's life. It's a bitter sweet finale when Ekko is lonely but Singed gets a "happy ending." However, while Singed is awful, his dedication to his daughter makes him more than just a cliche evil villain. His atrocities are numerous but they're all in the name of one end goal: his daughter. "Is there anything so undoing as a daughter?"
No other character played such a long-term game as Singed did in this series. He was doing this even before the beginning of Arcane, when he was dismissed from Piltover’s Academy. It’s no surprise that he would achieve his goal. But perhaps your friend will see Singed face some justice in the future. His story is not over yet; he will probably continue to be a key character in the Ionia vs. Noxus series.
Well, Singed is basically the devil. His atrocities are often just giving other villains and characters what they want for their power. Like shimmer for Silco. People who fail or suffer are the ones who accept whatever he has to offer, and he just gets what he wants sooner or later. Like Caitlyn and Ambessa suffered for accepting what Singed had to offer too. Even Viktor. Sure the other characters made big mistakes that Singed had no part of.
