Vlad is more likely worried about the Darkin weapon (if that is what the sigil refers to) than he is at all about Mel. He was originally a slave who learned Hemomancy from a Darkin Master.

That last sigil definitely looked like Riven's blade. She's likely going to have a key lead role

The only thing i dodnt like about Darius (ironically) is the shoulder paldrons, i hated them on all the LoL cinematics and always thought theyd tone them down for the animation but hey ho, as for Darius physicality wise, three things, one he IS huge, hes just small in comparison to Trundle, when he walks through the Noxus soldiers hes obviously quite tall, two hes quite young and seemingly inexperienced here, but this is him when hes making his legend before being promoted to might of Noxus Three I dont mind if they dont make Darius into a hulking bulk bruiser, because that means theyll be making him a "hero" or atleast a proper protagonist, the big hulkong guys are never protags

Ive not seen anyone pony thisnout, but when Melanthia takes a deep breath amd walks through the gates.. she looks ALOT like her mother in that split second I cannot wait for this series, Draven Riven &Swain are gonna be CRAZYYY.. i love that they stuck with Darius and LeBlanc being Persian, hopefully they commit to making Swain Persian aswell, Noxus beong a mix of Rome Persia and Mongolia is brilliant and gives an organic depth of diversity to the series

I love the framing of how LeBlanc is watching everything that we see in the cinematic, and before each introduction of a character, they show LeBlanc's smoke "sigil" for them. It makes it seem like she's pulling strings. I also need to know who that last person is supposed to be.

This goes SOOOOO hard! I'm only familiar with Arcane and not the games, so every moment Mel was on screen was a delight - can't wait to see my girl transform fully into the wolf (but on her terms, not her mother's).

I like this video.. I’ve seen too many reviews being way too harsh and negative. I like this balanced approach because there ARE a lot of AMAZING things in season 2. But there are also many flaws. At the end of the day it was just a beautiful show. Season 1 was a masterpiece. But season 2 was a flawed masterclass. Jinx’s arc was amazing and definitely was the highest point of the show I think.

I wasn't a fan of the change, mainly because Viktor's engineering genius was completely removed. This guy was basically so smart that he managed to make himself as strong as a mage thanks to his intellect, here he becomes a mage by being forcibly fused with the Hexcore and manipulated by Singed. Gone is the scientist so bright he created an AI so advanced it became sentient, now he replaces people by souless automatons. Gone is the guy who removed the emotions that hindered him but kept those that allowed scientific progress, now we have a selfish basterd who provokes worls annihilation so he can meet Jayce. Yeah, not a fan of S2 at all.

Despite its art direction, the characters move so emotionally and realistically that it's easy to forget it's animation. This feels like live action at times, with full on character actors, then punches you in the gut woth an absolutely _wild_ sequence.

1) Viktor's gameplay didn't need a massive overhaul, it fit his old design, some slight buffs like with his ult and the change in how his W ticks are what were needed, his W had a margin of error of +.5/-.5 seconds, it didn't stun consistently, the shortest time it took to stun and the longest time it took to stun were almost 1 whole second apart, the kit only feels like it needs an update because it doesn't fit the new design. Viktor was a scrappy dude who had to pull himself back together, so his abilities felt scrappy and separate too, as if he tried fixing each problem separately or one at a time, this makes sense in the context of old viktor, his death laser on E also made sense as it was made for Viktor to protect himself from the chembarons harassing him as he left Piltover and started operating in Zaun, similarly to Singed but he was more in the open about it 2) 5:09 shoutout to my favorite movie, X-Men Origins Wolverine 3) sorry it took me 2 weeks to comment on this, YT stopped pushing me your vids and unsubbed me, despite being subbed with the bell on

Has anyone noticed Powder’s belt buckle in Episode 7? It was shaped like the letter ‘E’. Also, in the final scene of Episode 9, when it says ‘The End,’ the letter ‘E’ is written backwards. I think Powder’s character might return in one of the future spin-offs

After watching S2, this video aged like whiskey. Viktor achieved godhood and still had to ask Singed for help.

I've seen a lot of people complain that episode 7 was nothing but fan service, and while I can agree that there was definitely fan service there, it's also integral to the plot. Without the Z drive, Jayce would have 100% failed, and had Ekko not traveled to the alternate timeline, he would not have had a reason to create it. Not to mention how at this point Ekko isn't very involved with Powder. He's given up on her, I don't think he believes there's a possibility that she could ever be anything but Jinx and getting to spend time with her in this alternate timeline gives him the resolve to go looking for her and try to save her from herself, and it gives him a reason to believe in her. With how much the motif of butterflies appears and reappears throughout this series, I think it's safe to assume that as a result of the theory of the butterfly effect, they would've failed if Ekko hadn't gone back for her. His ending up in that alternate timeline was integral to their success, so what if we got to see him kind of be happy for like 20 minutes 💀💀

Well except we do not know if Leblanc is actually the Faceless. This isn't a prediction, just a option and fan theory: There are only hints in the lore The Pale One (Leblanc) is The Faceless, but there are other parts of the lore that are 'well maybe not'. She is high up and a the Matron of the organization, and no one knows for sure what she looks like as 'Leblanc' form is an illusion. However, there is nothing specifically naming her the one leader or as The Faceless. IF Arcane writers take us next to Noxus it might be a twist that the Trifarix is just forming or about to. Deceiver is not one of Leblanc's or The Faceless' names. It would be an interesting turn if Mel became the Faceless and thus Guile in the Trifarix, especially if they plan on making her a Champion in game. That would be an interesting story as the overthrow of Boram Darkwill could not only could be made into quite the thriller it leads places. Some great characters aside from Swain and Darius are ingrained in the story of the Trifarix and invasion of Ionia; like Else and fan favorite Draven. Plus, it opens up Ionia and Riven and Katarina's stories as side quests or entry into the next series. That would be very similar to other things they've done like Singed being Dr. Reveck (Oriana's father).

Both of them are heroes, or at least they try to be even with their mistakes, fears, flaws. That's why Jayce becomes so badass after surviving for so long alone, only his faith in surviving one more day in that hole made him endure for months alone, almost driving him literally crazy.
