I think ive kind of cracked what happens with mel and leblanc. Leblanc tells mel in the previous episode that mel is an empath and can see the true face of others. Leblanc had to be physically present and exorting power on ambessa to kill her. Mel stepped into the black rose trap to get closer to leblanc, literally touch it, and feel it. “I see your face deceiver” is literal, shes using her mother as bait to see leblanc’s true face and to track her down. This explains why Ambessa says “you are the wolf”
This fire 🔥. And makes sense in some ways bc she was willing to do whatever it took for the W. Even sacrifice her own mother but she died knowing she had it her all along
10:22 bit of a correction the pink face paint is a call back to Isha, but the Green Paint on Jinx is a nod to her and Ekko’s relationship; and there is also Ekko’s signature hourglass on Jinx’s right arm(there also seems to be a crown on the hourglass as well). Also as you probably mention later Ekko is also covered in Jinx’s Pink Xs and paint, as well as a pink Jinx hair accessory seen in the promotional material for Ekko. Finally Only Jinx and Ekko are covered in paint signifying that they were the only ones painting the her Lair, and by extension they were likely alone when they … marked each other.
I find it interesting that every time Jinx has made a clear attempt on her own life with one of her bombs, someone else always stopped her or tried desperately to save her (silco, ekko, vander/warwick) so if the speculation that she survives at the end is true, which it most likely is, it's nice to see that someone else didn't have to try and stop her, she made the decision to save her own life. I think she realized that the person worth living for is herself. The old Jinx would've happily let herself get blown up in that explosion if meant ending the cycle.
27:06 the paper Ekko is burning has Powder written in it, if you take a screenshot and flip it you can see "der" which stands for Powder. I think Ekko knows or at least believes Jinx survived and that paper was in memory of his time with the AU Powder. I say this because right at the beginning of the episode when Ekko is trying to convince Jinx he says something like "I just want to talk to you, Pow-- Jinx" so he has accepted her as Jinx and the AU one as Powder
No cap brother I have no idea what frame ur taking about I just went through at .25 speed like 20 times, also I feel like this would definitely be the first time Ekko has gotten to Mourn Hemeier
If you watch when Ekko was convincing Jinx not to detonate her bomb, you'll see on the last time pull, she glances down at his device and sees HER monkeys in it. So she immediately knows one of two things: 1. This is something she worked on, but had never worked on, and that it's monkey arrayed for a time machine, which means she is destined to work on it. 2. Ekko loves her so much that he integrated her style into something he created. Either one, or both, is such a powerful draw back from the edge. My guess is the former.
I totally agree. I am convinced about the 1st option being true; i feel like a lot of Jinx' struggle is about her only seeing herself as a destructive force (unable to create, only to tear down) and it makes her realize some version of her is actually able to create something "positive". Hope this makes sense, I am high as shit rn
I think it's more likely that the monkeys' presence is confusing and intriguing to her. Perhaps Ekko did it, but regardless it's interesting. I think her jumping to the conclusion that she invents time travel in the future is such an incredible leap of logic that it doesn't make sense. The writers confirmed that Ekko tells Jinx about AU Powder, though, offscreen. So Ekko convinces her that she is capable of not being a jinx using herself in the AU as proof.
The noxians stand around and watch the 1v1 between Cait and Ambessa because that’s a core part of Noxian culture. 1v1ing the commander of the opposite military on the battlefield.
Also historically accurate. Back when there was honor in leading an army, generals would sometimes duell, instead of having their soldiers slaughter each other. Can you imagine something like that in modern times?
2:56 I REALLY wanna see a Jinx pov where she wouldn’t remember some of Ekko’s words but can sometimes catch him getting injured and maybe even figuring what’s happening whenever he stalls long enough, it’d be so choppy but I think that’s a cool idea
Exactly. I usually don’t fully see it with Arcane, but I was genuinely mad when it was revealed they cut screen time from timebomb to give more time to the sex scene between Cait and vi. Even more upset that production stated it was originally longer and MORE detailed and that they wanted to do it…. I genuinely feel like that felt obligated to dedicate so much time to the lesbian couple. It was a blatant fan service decision that to me destroys the last act. Not only for the basic obvious of them choosing to cut screen time but the fact they mean so much to the actual plot. Vi literally doesn’t need to be there…. And Cait being important for the Ambessa story is important but her relationship drama literally makes no difference. That sex scene was completely useless. There was far to many pressing issues for them to have focused any amount of time to that. Especially considering the timing. Her sister dips out and there’s a war coming so she decides then after crying to bone cait?? In a open cell…. The one her sister was just depressed and stewing in?? It really just adds to the hate for Vi again showing her strange priority list when it comes to her sister and Caitlyn. It’s a weird either or logic. She could save jinx so she bones Cait instead? It’s strange.
Showing Hextexh is not the dangerous weapon that Jinx build for Silco. It was always herself. Silco made her overcome the impossible and he never even thought she could do it. He set her up to fail, just to keep her occupied. He only wanted to enjoy her company and while he was deeply impressed, her progress made him scared she would leave him behind. And she did.
Her facepaint (those two stripes under her eyes) most definitely reference Powder. S1 E7 had Powder in the bridge scene having the exact same facepaint under her eyes
The E's in "THE END" are mirrored (with one skewed) such that they create a double door with one door open. As that was done in Jinx's scratchy style this is the writers telling you she escaped the death trap, if the other clues such as the Air Ship Powder mentioned in S1E1 and the purple shimmer streak and the monkey head in Cait's hands while examining the tower blueprints weren't enough.
Why did nobody watch the episode 1 scene then?! After Powder, Mylo instantly says 'and I am going to shoot one of them down' making the iconic Jinx pistol fingers. Quite the bad omen.
Ambessa is a great character and has a really beatiful arc. Took me some time, just because I really did not like her and did not pay much attention to her. She is another Vi-like character, but again she succeeds where Vi fails. She also progresses going out of her comfort zone despite her old age and all the years of only following one path. After thinking about it for some time, I have found real beauty in Ambessa.
i have read a theory that really intruiged me which is why Ekko burned only one paper? he could have burned two papers one for heimerdinger and one for jinx and my speculation is that the paper he burned was for heimerdinger not jinx and i remember christian linke said in an interview with Necrit that Ekko and Jinx had a long off screen dialogue about how there is a different version of powder and it's real and he has seen it in another dimension and how jinx believed him and talked her off killing herself and ultimately help him fight on his side, of course christian wont reveal the entire dialogue that happened between Ekko and Jinx since when he was asked if jinx really died he said "figure it out" in his interview with Necrit and there are huge avidences that she's not dead analysing the last scene in Episode nine, ok back to why ekko burned only one paper is that he knows jinx is alive and she told him that she's gonna fake her death and "break the cycle and walk away" so no more people have to die in her life just like what silco said in her subconscious in episode eight during her imprisonment, and i really hope Ekko has left with her on that air ship in the end since he's alone and the firelights group is pretty much useless now and got dismantled so his next journey has to be with her with his girlfriend and work on their relationship together.
Apparently you can see "der" written on the folded piece of paper he burns, so it's probably "powder" (either him accepting jinx for who she is now, or saying goodbye to the alternate universe powder)
@@paulinutewhite5139 i completely missed that detail, well there goes my coping out of the window, but i hope Ekko knows jinx is alive and he's accepting her as who she's now
what jinx wore to final war is not her style she usually dresses up like a bar girl sassy look but what she wore at the end battle is more of ekkos outfit which is battle ready and when she looked at ekkos hextech she knew some shit sure did happen , jinx not only upgraded savikas arm she upgraded the fireflies gear too , also noteable fact is both jinx and powder secret base is the same blimp in both the verses , jinx looks less pale in ep 9 means she for the first time in life must have eaten bellyfull or was calm and cared (you can see the veins around her eyes disappear and she looks a bit like powder ) . jinx under eye lines are ishas trait , also the stronger jinx will to live is the stronger her shimmer is we can see her bodyslam warwick away which clearly proves jinx was at her strongest condition for the fight ..... so it is safe to say it is a small journey but the ship sailed reached a dock and jinx went on her own journey now ekko and jinx had their own dance for sure
idk if anyone mentioned, the "stay" message in that scene at 6:45 is meant to symbolize the the war of Piltover where everyone had the choice to run or stay - like many stayed and died in order to defend their families. I doubt there's a deeper meaning to that shot.
The crow is not swain yet, Swain only gets his crows after the invasion of Ionia during his coup, this is Raum, the demon that makes a pact with Swain later
20:30 The difference in design is the markings left from their afflictions from when they were healed It’s why we know it was the arisen of huck that attacked mel and jayce because the markings matched his scarings.
Forgot to mention, for me Maddie was Sus the moment she named Vi, before ever hearing it from Vi herself. I don't care that Vi's name is tattooed on her cheek, it's an odd leap to make to think what's tattooed on someone is their name. I've got Mom tattooed on me, does that make my name Mom now??
Also the three of them ran in separate groups, Maddie, Piltovers lower class, Cait in Piltovers upper high society, and Vi in the slums. Vi hates enforcers, so Maddie knowing Vi's name becomes so much more suspicious.
When it comes to the end, there are actually 3 versions of TH3 END/ tHe End ii /tH3 END N. Season 3 is coming and new story will begins. Hopefully Jinx can still play a huge part of it.
There was a scene where Maddie also looked quite shocked before she started clapping. So I wonder when she acc started the actual betrayal mission. Good writing though omg
Nobody pointed this out about Ekko yet but during the final battle his hairstyle changed, it's important because in the alternate timeline Ekko wore his hair in a ponytail, so to show his appreciation for what he was given, he rocks the same ponytail in his own Zaunite style mixing it with his side locks and keeping it at the end.
3:18 when ekko says "us," she stops trying to just pull the pin and instead pulls it while jumping off, trying to protect Ekko from the blast. Viktor's dolls are all different because they came from different, unique people in the commune.
The reason ekko's machine doesn't go far back was because he saw heimerdinger explode after 5sec. (4sec being safe) That was considered the safe spot. Ekko was really risking it all moving the dial well past 5sec. (22:18)
It’s her. To build something new, for her, *as Jinx*. Not for someone else, not “for good” (Vi at the prison) to bring back old Powder, but for her. “I thought you could love me like you used to, even though I’m different.”
0:25 reference to Silco’s sermon in the river “a story of opposites”, with Ophelia as a contextual clue, and the lesson to kill Powder and be reborn, where now Jinx is the one dying. 0:38 don’t remind us… 1:32 that’s all a massive stretch, don’t you think? “If we re-orient all the sticks in KK to look like XII, it looks like XII”! Besides, ekko already wears an ‘X’ on his face, with no I’s, which you are now burdened to explain, and his “number” is 4, not 12. I think “Ekko” just remains a reference to time repeating. 2:04 another massive stretch, unless you can recall a time when Vander pouring drinks shares the splash pattern of the petrol. Again, I think you can just stop at “watch it all burn”. 3:16 she starts to leap before pulling the pin, she doesn’t stop pulling 3:34 not ambiguous. It’s Powder. 4:23 he has seen the fight he loses. That’s why he shows up as Jesus Viktor, and not monster Viktor. He becomes Jesus Viktor only when Jayce survives/wins. 5:08 this is not a justification. Mel is not a military commander, she has no experience in conducting warfare at all, and martial prowess is not genetic. Mel is in command because Mel and Jayce are the highest ranking officials, nothing more, and their inexperience is precisely the reason they are being so soundly defeated. 5:30 If the hexgate tech is being used to throw the containers, they should teleport, not just move fast. This is a plot hole. 5:54 he’s just a representative of the populace, like Gert 8:08 the gold is not a reference to her powers. She put it there when she was suffering a crisis of identity, when she (and I suspect the show itself, judging from the execution) wasn’t yet aware of her powers, and gold is a pretty good candidate for the colour that would represent herself. 9:15 it’s just the shark teeth on fishbones, bro. Isha copied them on her helmet, not the other way around. 9:31 because the balloon is just her turbine hideout from season 1, and the Claggor/Mylo dolls were there already. 9:48 the bunny ears are a tribute to Vi that Isha also appropriated. 10:05 the ‘X’es are crossed out eyes, symbolic of death. Jinx’s hallucinations had the eyes crossed out, as did Cait’s and her own occasionally, a symbol of her intention. 10:31 it’s where her shirt stitches are, not “over his heart” I’m done. Tired of this
28:00 That’s raun not swain. Swain gains that power during idionia which has not happened yet Raun is the demon that becomes swains left arm. He’s like rys a collector of magic
i've seen from another video but one of the reason why ekko could resist viktor was because he has already seen paradise and has already refused it in the AU.
The draperies on Caitlyn's bed was green in season 1 and is now violet in season 2. Originally, there was one chair next to the fireplace but at the end of episode 9 there's two.
In the Jayce universe you can actualy see the crushed Jinx based inside the clocktower. Which is a bit of a loophole. Jinx explodes her self if Ekko doesn't stop her. So Ekko should be there to calm her. But Ekko is getting sucked into other universe (every time I assume). And Ekko need Victor to give Jayce and acceleration rune to build time machine, which implies that in every other reality Ekko is unable to go back to his world, meaning there is no Ekko to calm Jinx, meaning there shouldn't be JInx base inside clock tower in any universe, aside from the main one.
Ekko doesn't give a tribute to Jinx, he gives a tribute to Powder because Powder is gone (you can actually see this faintly if you flip the image and zoom on the piece of paper). This means its still ambiguous weather he thinks Jinx is actually dead or not, but he knows for sure Powder is gone.
I feel so robbed! After Ekko saved Jinx, I was excitedly waiting to see them together and rally everyone. I was so disappointed that it never came. I wanted it so bad! Then, to find out that it was planned and got cut?! 😭😭 Who's decision was it? I just wanna talk! 😈
Its so frustrating that we didn't get more explanation. And I know arcane wanted to expand more but cut a lot of content from the finale because of netflix, but im still frusterated. Like, its still a great show and I adore it with my full heart, but we really needed more ekko jinx time, more viktor's transformation, more sevika (because seriously, she just??? got a new arm??? offscreen??), and more aftermath (we really believe just like that piltover and zaun are cool now?), and probably more that I'm forgetting. I love this show and just because we didn't see these that doesn't mean I hate it, but it would've helped immensely. I hope that one day we do get to see the cut scenes to give us the audience some closure on how things could've played out.
NO.11 He was talking about Jinx. The writers said he was talking about her, and he told her about her AU self. Also in the Arcane Artbook. Its confirmed Timebomb
nah, at 22 most of the people I've discussed Arcane with thought of Sion for point 98 when you say that Singed has no motivation, yes, I believe there is a possibility that the Noxus arc is a prequel that takes place during the 7 year time skip between Season 1 Act 1 and Season 1 Act 2. in Season 2 Act 1 Episode 1 Singed's scar is still red, assuming that it's still relatively fresh and we SAW the moment his lab explodes back in S1 Act 1 episode 3. It is possible that he went to Freljord during the time skip and that's what we see in the post credit with the Murkwolf, he had to have passed through Noxus, and we see that toxic gas being used so he already made it, it's possible he could've either sold it to Noxus or made it in Noxus and took some leftovers with him and then continued to Freljord. Also for 98, The Invasion of Ionia already happened if the written lore is still correct, the Invasion was under ruler Darkwill, with Jericho Swain as a general leading an army in Ionia, during the invasion Irelia cut off his arm, when he came back and was dishonorably discharged he took control of Raum, ordered a coup and installed the Trifarix that Ambessa talks about in Season 2 Act 2.
Just finished watching S1 and S2 in two days, and I must say i don't want to say goodbye to the characters at all.. I enjoyed the series too much and didn't want to end at all.. Don't know what to do with my life now lmao.. So my question is, should I start re-watching it again? Is it too soon, should I wait a couple of weeks, than re-watching it.. i don't know
6:22 this annoyed me because I’m pretty sure Caitlyn knew about the magic absorbing runes, or at the least Mel would’ve known. And let’s say they didn’t know, did no one have a regular gun without any hextech? Send a regular bullet that won’t be absorbed by engraved rocks! What are you doing Caitlyn!!!!!!! Get a normal gun and try again, don’t keep shooting her with something you know she’ll probably block 🤦♀️
Impressive. I wondered if Viktor's foot cracking the glass might have been a parallel to the last shot in Season 1, when Jinx's rocket cracks that window - though I'm not sure what it would symbolise if so
I thought that it would be about Honor for Ambessa to fight them alone to prove her "worth" as a leader. Maybe it is also something like a Noxian custom.
What lablank wanted was the champion of the wolf. Which are both ambesa and mel as kindred made ambesa his champion when she was still pregnant with Mel (why Mel’s powers are weird even for ruintara) The thing is as of right now we have no idea what kindred has planned or planning for either of them and probably won’t till ambesas book comes out. Even then thou I think it’s only going to be the half truth. What lablank is going after is the full truth we do not know of. It would make sense that the current gate guard to a fake death would go after both of the possible future gate guards of the actual death (stand in. Yes kindred is just ‘death’. We don’t know who the original death was. As that death disappeared for an unknown reason) Thus it’s safe to say that lablank is probably going after a primordial or prime evil level of power. Or if altruistic in nature a way to truly kill mortikizer.
There are only three people who can engineer the Arcane or has successfully engineered the hex gems. Jinx, Ekko and Singed but if Noxus had to get someone to use for the engineering I would go with Jinx as crows are likely to have seen Jinx engineer and weaponize hextech. If this is the case then it is only natural that Jinx as the only person who left Piltover/Zaun would pop up in some future series in the Arcane universe as the accompanying engineer for hex tech.
The noxians standing around during the fight also is a visual nod to the idea of fighting in lane amongst minions, possibly. I think they introduce background characters like Loris, to add personable details, than they kill them and show their deaths to elaborate that detail. IT than tells us the viewer that main characters are at risk and we should be worried about their survival. Another thing it tell us is that when someone dies in arcane, we see them dead, and whenever we dont see someone as officially dead, they are alive. out of the dead main characters, we only see Ambessa as dead. every other person's body has not been accounted for by the viewer. I do think its possible that they simply overlooked that, but given their ultimate detail, i would not be surprised if all 5 other unaccounted for characters are still alive or will come back. even Vander may be revived again as Warwick, although that one is the least likely. I think Jayce and Viktor will come back in much later series. I have a theory they will develop a new lore based on a "good guy" mage guild, with Zilean as a dumbledore like figure for it and Jayce, Viktor, Mel and other mages like Ryze, also being members.
12:03 -> Here I wonder if the blood on the cocoon is Viktor's blood from during the transformation, or just the blood of the guy that was stuck to the crate before shooting. Or if it is even blood at all
Can anyone explain why Jayce didnt immediately tell Viktor about the future after coming back? He met Viktor twice before the scene on top of the tower
I know this video is for Episode 9, but I noticed an odd detail for something in one of the past acts. Maybe it's just me, but I noticed that Isha's helmet and goggles have a similar shape and eye placement to the head of Mr. Duddy, the mechanical monkey Powder used that basically changed the course of Jinx, Vander and Vi's lives. Maybe that's just me.
Also i believe the bat (chirean) child from episode 7 in the alt universe was the same child ekko's second hand man was holding (either his daughter or sister) heimerdinger was in that alt world for 3 years, and when he was singing to the people with the children sitting around him there was that same child (i think).
About 3 minutes before the jinx 'death' there were 3 very short sounds. To me it sounded like the lamb humming. Once its heard really well, 2 times shortly after its accompanied by other sounds, so harder to hear. So far i havent heard anyone mention this, so i dunno if im just hearing things. But at that point it sounds so out of place that i thought it must be something. I thought it must mean Jinx 'accepting death', cause thats what the lamb would mean. But it would contradict that 'other' evidence that she might not be dead. So i dunno. edit: To clarify, it was during the 'viktor+jayce in sky' thing.
13:30 think about this as a noxian if you attack to someone that your general is willing to fight for and killed or helped for killing him/her you are prob gonna die because you disrecpect your general
Ehm watch the scene were the pianists uses the hextech weapon. Vi punches the enemy minion three times and Jhin fires the 4th shot finishing him off and opening the viktor egg. I am so scared of Act 4 Jhin. Did you see the X on Ekko and Jinx?
So, Ekko has a youtube channel ?!🤔 😂😅 OK then - I'm a new subscriber... describing your lovable" Powder "* we are in a deep poetical exploration of League of Legends Arcane Lore!!! Greetings from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 Sir Internet Loy.
@28:13 I have seen nothing in the show that explains where that corrupted hammer came from after our Jayce destroyed his. The show suggested that Jayce was reliving what happens in his future, in order for Jayce to be able to do what is needed. Have you seen anything in the show that makes it clear how a new hammer came to be? Everyone else has given me fan fiction and theories to explain it, but nothing that's is shown within the show...as most everything else is.
Not "Future" but rather the original timeline. Jayce originally developed Hextech by himself and Viktor stole it (thus why Riot said ALL LORE IS CANON). The ultimate result was always the same and Viktor kept trying to tweak the end by modifying the beginning ("Butterfly Effect" time theory), thus the prevalence of Butterflies in the series. Viktor was ultimately dissatisfied that the end result always ended with him alone in a devastated world, so he sought to end it before it got that far and only Jayce was able to get through to him (He wouldn't trust any one else), Viktor implies that he tried everyone and everything he could think of to change the result (at least till he hit absolute despair).
@@Hawkido The only change was that Ekko was able to come back, which allowed Jayce to get through to Viktor. Everything else seemed to be the same events repeated in each time line, so where does that hammer come from when every Jayce would have had parts of it on his leg?
@@LifesDeath The original hammer of Jayce. None of the alternate Jayces ever returned in any of the other timelines. Viktor tried everything, each time he changed how he steered Young Jayce to get the outcome Viktor wanted. Only when Viktor gave up his dream did Viktor pull a Jayce through to him at the end. Viktor WAS the anomaly. Every timeline where both Viktor and Hextech co-existed Viktor ended up in the same state. An inevitable endpoint that trends towards zero. Yes, this means that the timeline Ekko went to and kickstarted Hextech, Ekko damned that timeline to the same fate as Powder didn't leave it alone. The Montage of them building the Z-Drive, that is actually 3 separate events, one of them together inventing the Z-Drive, one of that timeline Ekko building a Z-Drive, and one of Powder building a Z-Drive. the scenes without the split screen has our timeline Heimer & Ekko plus that timeline Powder building it. the split screens are of that timeline and powder each building their own. Does taht timeline Powder go to find an Alt-universe Vi, who knows... But Hextech gets built and that universe Viktor is still dying and looking for a way to save himself and humanity.
Another hair inspo for the jinx shot was the most liked picture on Instagram which was Kendal Jenner laid down with her hair like that on shapes of a heart
I think it was also the inspo for her death animation in the game which looks a lot like that pic, it was a very viral Moment in pop culture history for the girls and gays for some reason lmao
The scene in at Silco's window also looks like an eye to me. The shark hood is also a reference to Silco. Idk LoL stuff so just assumed the guards letting Embessa fight Mel and Cait is some kind of honor duel type deal. I think Victor's "that shouldnt exist" could be because it was made in another timeline out of his reach but also idk how much he can sense that form.
It's not "Le Blan-K", it's "Le Blanc", without the [k] sound. The final "c" is totally mute. That letter is only there bc of the feminine form : blanche.

This. Trial by honorable combat.
Also historically accurate. Back when there was honor in leading an army, generals would sometimes duell, instead of having their soldiers slaughter each other. Can you imagine something like that in modern times?
@@thatgermanview5721yeah, but in several cases even the soldiers would consider umwise to duel, specially when they had numbers
A wise man once said " this isnt a trial...its an execution"
2:56 I REALLY wanna see a Jinx pov where she wouldn’t remember some of Ekko’s words but can sometimes catch him getting injured and maybe even figuring what’s happening whenever he stalls long enough, it’d be so choppy but I think that’s a cool idea
Theres a video that does that
We should have gotten more scenes with Jinx and Ekko in the final episode , since there won't be a season 3.
Shark teeth on Jinx’s hood is the same as her shark missle launcher.
and the shark teeth on Isha's helmet
Showing Hextexh is not the dangerous weapon that Jinx build for Silco. It was always herself. Silco made her overcome the impossible and he never even thought she could do it. He set her up to fail, just to keep her occupied. He only wanted to enjoy her company and while he was deeply impressed, her progress made him scared she would leave him behind. And she did.
She’s coming in like a missile🚀🦈
True!
10 was also the age Powder became Jinx.
really? Peak
Her facepaint (those two stripes under her eyes) most definitely reference Powder. S1 E7 had Powder in the bridge scene having the exact same facepaint under her eyes
The sails of the Noxian ships are arrows pointing downwards. Regression. Viktor opens the door to the Hexcore with a upwards arrow. Progress.
Huge spot, wish this was in my video! Even Viktor's head is shaped as an upwards arrow
Jinx's face paint was a reference to Isha aswell I'm pretty sure
yeah this most of all.
during jinx and ekko fight from S1 young Jinx has the pink face paint
Came here to comment that.
Thanks for beating the punch
Yes! actually more Isha than Ekko, forgot about that
I loved this series of videos, not clickbaits obvious things like most of these but real dedication and thinking behind them! Thank you for sharing!
The openign shot of Jinx and later the shot of "Ascended Victor" are probably some of the greatest artworks ever put into animation.
Stay is the name of the Stray Kids fandom, the K-Pop group who is featured in the song Come Play. Maybe that?
Ambessa is a great character and has a really beatiful arc. Took me some time, just because I really did not like her and did not pay much attention to her. She is another Vi-like character, but again she succeeds where Vi fails. She also progresses going out of her comfort zone despite her old age and all the years of only following one path. After thinking about it for some time, I have found real beauty in Ambessa.
Victor’s hexarm is the same invention he and Jayce made when they were showing the gauntlets, hammer and the hex arm to Heimerdinger back in S1
i have read a theory that really intruiged me which is why Ekko burned only one paper? he could have burned two papers one for heimerdinger and one for jinx and my speculation is that the paper he burned was for heimerdinger not jinx and i remember christian linke said in an interview with Necrit that Ekko and Jinx had a long off screen dialogue about how there is a different version of powder and it's real and he has seen it in another dimension and how jinx believed him and talked her off killing herself and ultimately help him fight on his side, of course christian wont reveal the entire dialogue that happened between Ekko and Jinx since when he was asked if jinx really died he said "figure it out" in his interview with Necrit and there are huge avidences that she's not dead analysing the last scene in Episode nine, ok back to why ekko burned only one paper is that he knows jinx is alive and she told him that she's gonna fake her death and "break the cycle and walk away" so no more people have to die in her life just like what silco said in her subconscious in episode eight during her imprisonment, and i really hope Ekko has left with her on that air ship in the end since he's alone and the firelights group is pretty much useless now and got dismantled so his next journey has to be with her with his girlfriend and work on their relationship together.
The delulu at the end😭🤚
Apparently you can see "der" written on the folded piece of paper he burns, so it's probably "powder" (either him accepting jinx for who she is now, or saying goodbye to the alternate universe powder)
@@millarivera7188 coping hard here 😭
@@paulinutewhite5139 i completely missed that detail, well there goes my coping out of the window, but i hope Ekko knows jinx is alive and he's accepting her as who she's now
@ me fr😔
what jinx wore to final war is not her style she usually dresses up like a bar girl sassy look but what she wore at the end battle is more of ekkos outfit which is battle ready and when she looked at ekkos hextech she knew some shit sure did happen , jinx not only upgraded savikas arm she upgraded the fireflies gear too , also noteable fact is both jinx and powder secret base is the same blimp in both the verses , jinx looks less pale in ep 9 means she for the first time in life must have eaten bellyfull or was calm and cared (you can see the veins around her eyes disappear and she looks a bit like powder ) . jinx under eye lines are ishas trait , also the stronger jinx will to live is the stronger her shimmer is we can see her bodyslam warwick away which clearly proves jinx was at her strongest condition for the fight ..... so it is safe to say it is a small journey but the ship sailed reached a dock and jinx went on her own journey now ekko and jinx had their own dance for sure
idk if anyone mentioned, the "stay" message in that scene at 6:45 is meant to symbolize the the war of Piltover where everyone had the choice to run or stay - like many stayed and died in order to defend their families.
I doubt there's a deeper meaning to that shot.
The crow is not swain yet, Swain only gets his crows after the invasion of Ionia during his coup, this is Raum, the demon that makes a pact with Swain later
Man your channel should be bigger, I love your breakdowns!
20:30
The difference in design is the markings left from their afflictions from when they were healed
It’s why we know it was the arisen of huck that attacked mel and jayce because the markings matched his scarings.
I loved the piano guy in the war, because war has no names, it has way too many deaths to celebrate one name. It is random people doing what they can
at minute 25:51 you can see a person with a hair similar to powder from episode seven, why would the Arcane team choose such hair color and style? 🤨
I think you are onto something
It’s so similar but the pink streak is on the left side. Powder’s pink streak is on the right side.
Her hair in the first scene references roots and her trying to cut herself off from the tree of life
Jinx's coat in her finale grand entrance was confirmed by the creators to be Ekko's coat. Obviously, it's been altered, but it is Ekko's.
Ekko uses 4 sec rewind on his machine because it was the max safe time
In the final battle he went far on the unsafe territory
Dude the blue/green clouds made me think of Mordekaiser
3:18 when ekko says "us," she stops trying to just pull the pin and instead pulls it while jumping off, trying to protect Ekko from the blast.
Viktor's dolls are all different because they came from different, unique people in the commune.
The reason ekko's machine doesn't go far back was because he saw heimerdinger explode after 5sec. (4sec being safe) That was considered the safe spot. Ekko was really risking it all moving the dial well past 5sec. (22:18)
thanks for putting all these details together - much appreciated
It’s her. To build something new, for her, *as Jinx*. Not for someone else, not “for good” (Vi at the prison) to bring back old Powder, but for her. “I thought you could love me like you used to, even though I’m different.”
10:43 The co-creator confirmed we will see more
Jinx’s war paint in the finale was also something Isha did. She would paint the lines under her eyes 😭😭
Video and comments are agold rush. Thank you, and great work!
Don't forget that Ekko and Heime pulled the Mobius strip inverted to time travel, just like Tony Stark did in the Avengers.
0:25 reference to Silco’s sermon in the river “a story of opposites”, with Ophelia as a contextual clue, and the lesson to kill Powder and be reborn, where now Jinx is the one dying.
0:38 don’t remind us…
1:32 that’s all a massive stretch, don’t you think? “If we re-orient all the sticks in KK to look like XII, it looks like XII”! Besides, ekko already wears an ‘X’ on his face, with no I’s, which you are now burdened to explain, and his “number” is 4, not 12. I think “Ekko” just remains a reference to time repeating.
2:04 another massive stretch, unless you can recall a time when Vander pouring drinks shares the splash pattern of the petrol. Again, I think you can just stop at “watch it all burn”.
3:16 she starts to leap before pulling the pin, she doesn’t stop pulling
3:34 not ambiguous.
5:54 he’s just a representative of the populace, like Gert
8:08 the gold is not a reference to her powers.
10:31 it’s where her shirt stitches are, not “over his heart”
I’m done. Tired of this
28:00
That’s raun not swain.
Swain gains that power during idionia which has not happened yet
Raun is the demon that becomes swains left arm. He’s like rys a collector of magic
i've seen from another video but one of the reason why ekko could resist viktor was because he has already seen paradise and has already refused it in the AU.
Next level Analysis sir! Bravo!
jinx's hair reminds me of a spider web. She is trapped in a web of her own making, she can't escape herself
For detail 59 @16:32, it seems like Leblanc was extracting information from Ambessa's mind when Mel interrupted.
Great work 🙌🏾
Thanks
I guess Sevika becoming part of the council isn't important enough?
Its confirmed Timebomb
nah, at 22 most of the people I've discussed Arcane with thought of Sion
for point 98 when you say that Singed has no motivation, yes, I believe there is a possibility that the Noxus arc is a prequel that takes place during the 7 year time skip between Season 1 Act 1 and Season 1 Act 2. in Season 2 Act 1 Episode 1 Singed's scar is still red, assuming that it's still relatively fresh and we SAW the moment his lab explodes back in S1 Act 1 episode 3.
Impressive. I wondered if Viktor's foot cracking the glass might have been a parallel to the last shot in Season 1, when Jinx's rocket cracks that window - though I'm not sure what it would symbolise if so
Gonna say you're wrong about Jinx's face paint, it's also a callback to Isha when Isha used the same color to use the "linebacker under eye" liner.
Which was a call back to Powder during the Ekko Jinx fight on the bridge in season 1.
I thought that it would be about Honor for Ambessa to fight them alone to prove her "worth" as a leader. Maybe it is also something like a Noxian custom.
What lablank wanted was the champion of the wolf. Which are both ambesa and mel as kindred made ambesa his champion when she was still pregnant with Mel (why Mel’s powers are weird even for ruintara)
The thing is as of right now we have no idea what kindred has planned or planning for either of them and probably won’t till ambesas book comes out.
As that death disappeared for an unknown reason)
Thus it’s safe to say that lablank is probably going after a primordial or prime evil level of power. Or if altruistic in nature a way to truly kill mortikizer.
Bro needs more subs!
Maddi's lines in the first ep talking to Vi about the late sheriff
Ekko actually wrote "Powder" in the paper
Or if it is even blood at all
Well done LOY!!!!

Can anyone explain why Jayce didnt immediately tell Viktor about the future after coming back? He met Viktor twice before the scene on top of the tower

Is Stay a reference to the Stray Kids fandom name? Stray Kids being the KPop group that sings the song when Ekko and Jinx make their entrance?
I know this video is for Episode 9, but I noticed an odd detail for something in one of the past acts. Maybe it's just me, but I noticed that Isha's helmet and goggles have a similar shape and eye placement to the head of Mr. Duddy, the mechanical monkey Powder used that basically changed the course of Jinx, Vander and Vi's lives. Maybe that's just me.
Also i believe the bat (chirean) child from episode 7 in the alt universe was the same child ekko's second hand man was holding (either his daughter or sister)
heimerdinger was in that alt world for 3 years, and when he was singing to the people with the children sitting around him there was that same child (i think).
Space and time being inversions of one another makes sense
Her hood is actually vander/warwick after isha shot him
13:30 think about this as a noxian if you attack to someone that your general is willing to fight for and killed or helped for killing him/her you are prob gonna die because you disrecpect your general
Ehm watch the scene were the pianists uses the hextech weapon. Vi punches the enemy minion three times and Jhin fires the 4th shot finishing him off and opening the viktor egg. I am so scared of Act 4 Jhin. Did you see the X on Ekko and Jinx?
I think the musician is an homage to Christian Linke one of the co-creators of Arcane.

Viktor was ultimately dissatisfied that the end result always ended with him alone in a devastated world, so he sought to end it before it got that far and only Jayce was able to get through to him (He wouldn't trust any one else), Viktor implies that he tried everyone and everything he could think of to change the result (at least till he hit absolute despair).
in fact, the show suggested this was a different timeline, an alternate universe, not living the future
@@misxfitx But the same events happen? A broken leg, a destroyed hammer?

I think it was also the inspo for her death animation in the game which looks a lot like that pic, it was a very viral
Moment in pop culture history for the girls and gays for some reason lmao
The scene in at Silco's window also looks like an eye to me.
The shark hood is also a reference to Silco.
Idk LoL stuff so just assumed the guards letting Embessa fight Mel and Cait is some kind of honor duel type deal.
I think Victor's "that shouldnt exist" could be because it was made in another timeline out of his reach but also idk how much he can sense that form.
It's not "Le Blan-K", it's "Le Blanc", without the [k] sound. The final "c" is totally mute. That letter is only there bc of the feminine form : blanche.
Jinx's face paint is a nod to Isha who put the same pink lines on her cheeks....
