After I bought a PS2 in 2000, then I bought an OG Xbox in 2002 because of the great game on it such as Halo, Halo 2, Blinx, PDO, KoToR, Bruteforce, Gunvalkyrie, Amped, MechAssault, and Crimson Sky, and Jetset Radio Future. No wonder, I'm happy for owning an OG Xbox back then along with PS2 in 6th gen era. PS2, Xbox 360 and Xbox were my favourite console of all time in any console gen. This game is absolutely one of my favourite game on my OG Xbox
Awesome game. This is what Sega should be bringing back. Give sonic a break and give us a true Dragoon sequel. Or at least give us an HD remaster of this for PS4/Xbox One/PC.
Only just found this video, but, I couldn't agree more.... Panzer Dragoon Orta was/is a totally stunning game; breathtaking visuals even today, and silky smooth to play! I'd love to see this, and and the others before it, remastered by Sega for the current consoles. This game especially is too good to be allowed to fade into history as older consoles and the discs start failing.... Come on Sega, give us the Panzer Dragoon series remastered for PS4 and Xbox One S/X, and the Switch!
***** how? don't get me wrong I love Dreamcast way more than xbox, but xbox had better online capabilities, better graphics, a more modern controllers with two sticks.... So how? How could it have been better on the Dreamcast?
Well this game is not so much about online, I think that in Dreamcast it would of been different, maybe graphically not better, but yet pretty good, I don't like the Xbox controller never got used to it, the Saturn was much Better than the ps1 but they never reach full potential on Saturn, instead they went for the Dreamcast, Sega did everything too fast and waste lots of money on experimenting, Saturn came out with not too many games, but Dreamcast was a little bit different, if they would of release a game like this for the Dreamcast it would of been great sense it needed those kinds of games, besides it was games like this that would identify the Sega consoles, giving them to XBox Microsoft was kind of awkward, not what fans would of expected, making a game like this for Dreamcast would of been more successful I think, maybe not graphics better, but enjoyable and maybe would of help prolonged the Dreamcast timeline in the market.
+Jacob C. Ferrari F355 Challenge is proof to the contrary as was Dead or Alive 2. Polyphony Digital coukd have made some great things on the DC hardware had they been a 3rd party dev
Lol the Xbox was so far ahead of the competition at the time, it absolutely could not have been run by the GameCube. Remember how PS2 and GC often had to have specifically made ports of games since they couldn't handle the Xbox ones? Like every single Tom Clancy game ever?

We now need a modern console port( of all 4 games) on all three consoles but we want more stories of panzer dragoon as well.

I remember reading that the PS2 hardware was actually the weakest of the three, and that it usually got the lesser ports (exhibit A: Sonic Heroes)
