Lorna Shore has been killing it right now and it shows, definitely in my top 5 favourite bands as of now and their musicianship is unparalleled. So looking forward to their new album in October 🤘🤘
Every Lorna Shore song since To The Hellfire has made me feel like I could crush a planet with my bare hands. But this one makes me feel like I could crush a universe with my teeth.
Man blows me away after finding you when you just discovered Metallica and Slipknot and were skeptical even back then and now you're listening to Lorna Shore with ease. Big proud.
This might be their best song with Will Ramos so far. They show that they are more than just breakdowns, crazy rythms, smeagol voices and just brutal stuff. This song has some kind of old school Melodic Death Metal vibe which I really love. I really, really hope that they can deliver more songs this good or even better. So far one of the best modern extreme metal bands right now.
I think having watched interviews with Will (Tea Time with Elizabeth- The Charismatic Voice, for instance) makes listening to Lorna Shore THAT much better. His sweet, bubbly, totally east coast chill personality are in direct contrast to his performance presence. He brings such intensity to such heavy music, but somehow is such a light, cheerful person. The first couple times I listened to Lorna Shore, it was just too much. But now having engrossed myself in it, I just giggle and smile, and can’t wait until October.
This song stands out so much,... not over using breakdowns to rely on.. a goddamn euphoric melody line,.. pretty happy feeling.... I think this is the best song yet
Lorna Shore was my intro to the more extreme core bands too. I had bands like Impending Doom, With Blood Comes Cleansing, and melodeath bands like Dark Tranquility on my playlists but i couldn't get into the more extreme deathcore bands. None of the bands that I checked out appealed to me so I stopped trying. Until Lorna Shore, specifically after Will Ramos.
@@MadisonM1996 I was always into Metalcore but didn’t really go heavier until I heard Of the Abyss by Lorna Shore, now I’m on a Deathcore/Deathmetal kick. I highly recommend the band Shadow of Intent. I haven’t heard a bad song from them yet
I’ve been watching your channel since you first reacted to Master Of Puppets, it’s been fun watching you get hooked into metal and now you’re pumped af to something as extreme as Lorna Shore. Fuckin love it, keep it up man!
Lorna shore is a bit more heavy than the stuff I normally listen to like Iprevail or something along those lines. But will Ramos is so insanely talented that I can’t help but love it
One of the things I love about the new singles is that they’ve done a great job at making Pain Remains more of a soundscape instead of just an album title. Every track so far has a consistent sound that seems to me like it will carry over through every track on the album
I know exactly what your talking about. Avenged Sevenfold and Ghostemane are two artists who do this with their albums. Each song blends almost perfectly into the next.
I could be completely wrong, but my theory is this song is part 2 to Sun//Eater. If you look at the track list for Pain Remains, this song comes after Sun//Eater and it flows perfectly into Cursed to Die. It might also explain why the beginning sounds so similar to Sun//Eater (haven’t looked at the lyrics yet, just going based on music)
I back this theory honestly it makes sense they did it with their ep where it all blended in a story if you listen in order, I think they want to do this more with the way they are going
It's pretty possible. Shadow of Intent done the same thing with difference that they numbered their tracks like Elegy I, Elegy II and Elegy III. Lorna Shore only used titles but it's possible
@@WIERTARA2137 I just learned that the last 3 tracks are pain remains 1-3 so I was kinda wrong about these being the tracks that were all one song, so they did do the same thing as shadow of intent. I think what's going on here is something that I've seen done alot where tracks just flow into eachother to make it sound seamless which is a nice touch if you have the option to fade in tracks because then you never even notice the song change.
🤯 omg the drums, my heart felt like it was gonna explode!!!! I have never heard anything like this. Very talented musicians I really liked the drums. Not sure it's my cup of tea but I can definitely appreciate talent when I hear it.
There is NO band that can compete with Lorna Shore. Really. Normally I don't really like Deathcore but THIS. Oh My God. I love the symphonic sounds in combination with absolutely everything. I can't wait to see them live next month.
Lorna Shore is shortcut to get non metalhead into metal very quick. I remember when I showed my non metalhead friend "To the Hellfire" and he was like you in this video. Now we banging and discovering music together. Soo harismatic band
Intensified genocide by shadow of intent. Both solos and breakdowns. In most of their songs actually, its definitely worth the listen especially since you like lorna shore
I just ordered their new hoodie for this new album coming out in Oct. Hella excited to see them grow more and more. Hope I get the chance to see them soon
This song sounds similar to Sun Eater if that helps any! Your reaction to the breakdown was perfect. Just broke your mind completely No wonder this song sounds like Sun Eater it literally comes after it on the album! OCTOBER 14TH

Dude you need to look at Makari- Phantom or Monuments- Collapse. Andy Cizek is the vocalist for both bands and he's the guy from Termina. You'll be blown away by his versatility
The vocalist for Lorna Shore did a video with a youtuber wherein they went to an Ear Nose and Throat facility and put a camera inside of his nose to observe his vocal chords while he did the crazy shit he does. Really eye opening and incredibly useful for any fledgling metal vocalist.
The first time I did an edible I heard the symphonic elements of lorna shore in the shower haha. Yeah this new song is dope as usual. Reminds me of and I return the nothingness the song. Will Ramos is great the best him Alex are the best
PROTECT THE GOBLIN AT ALL COSTS
Will is the breath of fresh air this band needed. These guys are on a totally different level. The amount of talent is mind numbing
Lorna Shore are in their Midas touch phase. Everything they produce is just perfect.

Totally agree
They're one of the/if not THE best deathcore band out there right now. Not a lot of bands can make deathcore sound that brutal but so emotional.
These guys just keep getting better, extraordinarily melodic.

Metal Heads stick together. I am sure the bands agree. You feel it?
