The biggest issue with absol is being if you don't get any crits then it's really hard for absol to secure a kill. They have to be very careful of how they buff absol as it can easily be broken

I guess it's supposed to be that Absol crit chance is not the highest, but can crit with everything in it's moveset. Nah your random bouts of damage is too much. That move as too much range. That buff last too long. We broke a move but we like how it works now so we nerf the whole mon. They should (aside from the slight stat buffs they do when they are afraid of breaking again a Mon they previously broke) make the effect "Super Luck" increase the crit chance and HP vamp an extra % according with the amount of HP you have below 50%. Or something... anything at this point really...
The issue is the crits are random. Make them guaranteed based on your crit rate. For example, if you have a 25% crit chance (Absol’s rate w/out items/emblems), make it so you crit every 4th hit. This would also add in a little mini-game where you can pre-load a crit by attacking wild mons. As is, sometimes you’ll full combo and just get unlucky with zero crits. Yesterday I managed to hit every enemy with Absol’s unite and didn’t crit a single time. Felt real bad.
I actually like night slash and psycho cut, if you can get early stacks and play around bushes you can delete a lot of tanks and carries. Of course if you get cc'ed or caught out its over but its the only way ive had success with absol since his nerf into oblivion
That crit on Delphox is why Absol needs a rework honestly, like I wish he was more like inteleon with guaranteed crits but maybe they do less damage or something, because as of now fights can either be one shotting like that Delphox, or going it and getting demolished for being so squish
Agreed, having to gamble just to kill absolutely ruins the pokemon imo. With pursuit they could at least make it a guaranteed crit when landing it from the back.
Have been playing a lotta absol this season. Night slash+sucker punch doing wonders for me almost popping off every game. Yet can't find the wins at many occasions even when being the menace throughout the game as it have some serious issues in team fights especially at ryquaza. Adding mew2 and bad teammates to the equation results in quite unfortunate loses despite having exceptional performance for the first 8 mins. Having the least defenses in the game doesn't help the case either and since the devs didn't had any problem with raising gengar stats then i genuinel believe absols defenses/bulk should be shown some love among other helps.

Spoiler Alert According to me and some leaks after meowscarada metagross will be released it will be a defender It will have a three stage evolution level 1‚4‚8 Its basic attack will be melee type attack with it's third or fourth attack metagross shakes the ground and lowers opposing Pokemon's defence and special defence for a short period of time It's passive will be clear body that meta gross will summon a shield that will negligent the first hinderance or crowd control move and then it goes on a cooldown (30 seconds) It's first two moves as beldrum will be headbutt like normal headbutt and takedown in which when pressed takedown button it charges in the designated direction if it hits an opponent it deals damage and stuns them for 1 second After it evolvs at level 4 it can choose two following moves Zen headbutt or Magenetic rise. While watching I was like "oh wow a game without Mewtwo, that's nice" and then had your same exact reaction at the end. The only time I recall seeing it was at the start when you ganked top
And mewtwo did 67k damage while spragles only 36... I am not saying that he played bad, what I am saying is how did he end up with only 36k fighting all game And mewtwo 67k while being unseen the whole time. (Damage done to wilds And objectives doesn't count, so it can't be afk farming)

I've heard of the welcome back rewards system and I was wondering, are there things I need to take into account to not miss out on any of them? I have limited time every day, so are the rewards limited time and do I need to meet certain conditions for them? Also, do you have any tips for someone who played the game for over a year from start but has been away for over a year? I think the biggest issue with absol is not enough survivability. like literally a rowlet can 1v1 against absol and win sometimes. also absol doesn't have the mobility other speedsters have, like zoroark.
I main Absol since launch and it pains me every time to see my pursuit hit the wrong target. They should allow us to aim our pursuit if there are multiple targets around.
I literally have had to stop playing the last few days because the matchmaking has gone from meh to unbearable. Losing 5+ matches in a row in masters and it’s not like they are close games, it’s like 150 - 800 point games. I’ve gone from having competent teammates to games where every single time people fight over jungle, never show up to objectives, spam “Thanks” the ENTIRE GAME meanwhile the enemy team has multiple people with ribbons, and put on master classes with their pokemon. I played a game as M2Y and we had a blissey… enemy team rolls up with buzzwole/clef and ROLLS us, my attacks were bouncing off of the bug like he was made of titanium. I just don’t understand how I’m getting these matches that are so clearly designed to make me tear my hair out but I’m done playing this season.
Oh, and NO ONE wants to play a damn support, so if I make the MISTAKE of choosing one, I get a team full of people intentionally dying, forgetting to farm, face checking bushes and running into a 1v5 right before the 2 minute mark… meanwhile I sit there waiting to heal my team full of dead mons
It’s just frustrating because I really enjoy the game but the last 30 matches I’ve had have been some of the worst experiences I’ve had. Even when my team has a M2Y the enemy’s is somehow just better. Or when I break down and choose M2Y because I’m tired of the unbalanced matches, the enemy team just perfectly has that one comp tailored to stomp me out lmao. It’s taking the little fun that was left in this meta and snuffing it out.

Absol doesn't do well into the blissey M2Y lapras meta (which technically is hard to beat from a MAJORITY of the roster). Lapras just tanks crits, blissey cleans psycho cut n ults mew2y. Just hard to do anything unless u get lucky catches/crits

Absol is already crazy strong and doesn't need a buff imo. Theres just so many other pokemon now that everything is getting harder to play with. Before we could choose out of the few pokemon and play strategically and now its more about luck of the draw you match up good against the enemy teams choices

Sigilyph would be freaking sweet to see in Unite though, for real. I'll always be happy to see more unique body shapes and designs than another humanoid type. That absol buffs were uncalled for. Literally nobody asked for them yet the devs decided to throw tham on our faces with the pretext for making other moves(psycho cut) more viable. But the typical devs instead of admitting their mistakes decided to nerf every other thing aside from it's main problem to the ground.

Early game is tough with 9s cd on Feint. lowering cd wil help early game immensely

Buff Absol?! Um, have we not forgotten when he did get buffed, he was VERY strong? Let's not make that same mistake and ask for something we don't mean. ^^;

(I do not have Absol, and do not enjoy his playstyle - just in case people think I’m an Absol main wanting it to be broken)
That absol buffs were uncalled for.
Literally nobody asked for them yet the devs decided to throw tham on our faces with the pretext for making other moves(psycho cut) more viable.
But the typical devs instead of admitting their mistakes decided to nerf every other thing aside from it's main problem to the ground.
I want my Absol back.
