This series has inspired me to do the same. I know nothing about archeology except that archeologists are equipped with whips and wear cool hats, but I will use these videos for help.
I wonder why the ice cellar is built with the entrance facing the cave wall rather than the road? Extra security to prevent theft? The noteblocks seem like some kind of doorbell or burglar alarm.
I'm pretty that the icebox chest is meant to help distract the Warden monster - its the impact spot of the snowball that gets the Warden's attention (throw too many, and you get his attention). Love the series.
Structure spawn in parts. I don’t know how to do it but using jigsaw blocks, you can spawn a specific parts of a structure. for an ancient city you can figure out the different variants and the blocks will be different.
24:15 - (and other spots, but that's where you did the replacement). I agree with the cobble, but for a different reason: it's that same pillar design from the outside: cobble, cobble, chiseled, brick.
youre my new favorite mc channel, you give me etho vibes ❤ i love the educational aspect in your videos, dont be afraid to go heavy on the facts! thanks for this fun content!
With that Ice block in the floor, what I think happened was, the Ice was sitting on tile floor block, but the block deteriorated so much and the ice fell into place before the skulk took over.
I found this series randomly and now I love it
I'm glad you're here! don't forget the full episode premiering shortly!

Lol, good luck! :D
You know the important stuff. Watch out for boulder traps.
14:30 right here. I think this is just collapsed wall that got turned into skulk so that’s why it’s in red.

thats an excellent question! There must be some reason that the building faces away. Ill have to think on that one!

You make me enjoy my anthropology class.
It is fun to see how we have been approaching this project in a complete uncut format!

I'd love to see more uncut footage!
Now I'm off to watch the next video! :D

Because I don’t think most of the structure were made out of cobble deep slate, I think the cobble deep slate is what is degraded into

I think It maybe wider on one side because of the ladder access to the inside
16:40
Maybe that brick fell from another place.
You could also make a few super flat worlds and do/place and place a few of them to look at it
Thank you for the suggestion, but that's not really the point of this series.
That will be a really good idea to do a deep study on the ancient city and study all the models that spawn and really compare everything
I'll have to remember that for use later
the cobbled deepslate is probably meant to represent rubble in some areas
21:00
They could de debris that felt and were later replaced.
Love this
I really wanna do this for a base now.
Your intro is fire, btw.
Will someone for the love of god tell me how they're replacing blocks instantly on around 7:20

Any theories that Daskalos might find interesting?
Awesome!
@@daskalosBCE there should be a campire/makeshift tent in one of the areas.
funny you should mention that. We looked for one and couldnt find it. I was really hoping there would be one too since i could talk about looter camps
