TFM has made some great content. his red pill grief cycle is a really good break down of the mgtow path.
I spent a year being angry post "red pill". then one day i decided to focus on my health and fitness and my life improved. in little over a year I've lost 80 lbs and doubled my income.
life is still a struggle but i cope with it much better.
I've shifted from watching mostly mgtow/mra/antifemnist videos to watching channels that share my hobbies. I find a body builder talking about nutrition to be more enlightening than sargon sperging about whatever the outrage of the day is.

Yeah, I can get Stardusk bashing Sandman due to some of his questionable interactions, but TFM has made more than just the "same old" recycled over and over again. I don't think he should be lumped in the same category as Sandman when it comes to all of that.

TFM and Halsey are having a going at making a daily show that reviews the egregrious (from a MGTOW perspective) news. TFM can be hilarious at times. He certainly is self-deprecating and reflective and at least has some spunk. Guys coming off the redpill rage/grief cycle need a variety of perspectives to help get their brain around what has happened to them. The MGTOW content producers are like lighthouses warning where the rocks are, in an unfriendly world of anti-male ideas and confused feelings. There sure as hell is no support for men in the mainstream media, zero, zilch, niente. If you're taking on water and about to sink who you gonna call? No-one gives a rats-arse but your MGTOW bro's.

If adopting MGTOW principles means a single father distances himself from the pursuit of women and therefore spares himself and his children the potential emotional chaos of another crazy relationship, then that's Golden!

I've noticed recently, that if I have some kind of inner desire to persue relationship with women, (I think, the reason is that, I'm still quite young, 25 years old. I was red pilled when I was only 20 years old by Barbarossa and then I found the videos of Stardusk and Specnaz. To be honest, I felt that something was wrong even earlier, but I anyway was quite shocked.
So, my problem is strong sex drive, which confronts this knowledge), Well, then I created a kind of thought experiment where I just replace these fertile females by each other, and I understood, that I feel the same shit to any of them. The feelings and behaviour from my part are the same. It was the point when I really internalized this statement: "All women are the same, the same pattern of behaviour towards males and the world in generall, there aren't any NAWALT in the whole World and the main thing is, that, They've never existed, at all!"
But even now I can say for sure, that I don't want to be married even if the laws would be changed tomorrow, because the problem aren't the laws, the problem is a human female. By the way, the main difference between my and TFM's views is this issue of the guiltiness of women, he still views them as children that just went out of the control of men, and by this way, they do harm for men, society and for themselves in the long run. He thinks, the contract between the sexes had been a good deal for all parties, but that's not the case in my opinion.
The differénce between two epochs is, that these whores wish to get the best from two Worlds, the alpha-fuckers and the freedoms and advanteges of the modern age, and I won't be able to lie to myself even if some Great Cthulhu will change the laws. I don't give a fuck about the laws, and I do not care if Westernized Civilization will be destroed and devasteded due to such views. If society wants not to die out because of such men like me, this pile of shit has to ingratiatingly offer me a good deal, because I don't give a damn about shaming tactic.
And even then, I do not guarantee, that I will accept this deal, I do not like children, but maybe some men will return to the Plantation, who knows!

Sandman is a light post, with one light that is rotating, and another pointing to the better place. I don't watch his videos much these days, but I still see a lot of people who are introduced to red pill by him. In fact, it's entirely possible that I wouldn't be here, watching your videos, if I didn't run into Sandman's videos some years ago.
I can imagine there being a bunch of people who are stuck at that light post. I'm not sure if it's Sandman's fault, or their own faults. I donated a bunch of money to Sandman because I saw so many people who got introduced to MGTOW from his videos, and I have zero regrets about that.
I just don't see why you have to keep bringing him up in a negative way, while saying you don't care, in the same sentence.

I've no idea about anti-police rhetoric since I don't really watch all that many of his videos these days. I did notice some political stuff that I didn't agree with long time ago. I just skipped them. It's not like any two person can agree on 100% of things. That'd be scary.
As for money, it's not easy making a video everyday for how many years now? There's no free lunch. Nobody is forcing YOU to give him money.
As for warping the "MGTOW," the way I see it, if someone gets to know MGTOW by running into his videos, but that someone doesn't grow out of it, that person never really had the aptitude to go his own way. Too bad.
I myself have had 0% success rate trying to help my friends, so I'm thinking that most men just aren't evolved enough to really go his own way. Therefore, I think it's actually not a bad strategy to spray and pray. If the percentage is going to be small, the only way to reach the few is to reach a whole lot of people.

Often feel like suburban Australia is a bit like the Truman show...all clean and organised, but anaesthetised , fairly soulless, conformist to appearances, nice car, money, comfort.
Hanker for a more diverse and free environment where punks, goths rub. Shoulders with buddhist monks, steampunk dressed people... its all so boring and brainwashed sometimes.
Its why i head for the hills, hike in the great national parks here. Also work in the bush, away from urban areas. I live out of my 4 wd van, doing mostly labouring jobs.

True, Stardusk might not be something special, but one doesn't have to be special to just sit and observe. You learn a lot by doing that, but it takes a certain kind of mindset and constitution to sit and observe -- like watching the breath in meditation and being detached from what intrudes upon the mind.
Most operate in the "monkey mind," which explains what we have to deal with daily.

I wonder whether Stardusk is downplaying his intelligence out of modesty. I can't imagine a scenario where identifying the societal success model for what it really is and deconstructing the nature of the female in both an evolutionary and a historical context would not reguire high intellect, among other things. RUclips, with its inherent cognitive stratification, has become better than many academic institutions, as far as attaining applicable knowledge is concerned and, in this regard, both Stardusk and HuMAN lie at the higher end of the Spectrum. Great video! Thank you. :)

Finally, someone articulated what has been obvious to me immediately after discovering this topic.
I think addressing this is key to breaking out of the current pattern.
Sandman and his imitators produce the equivalent of the daily two minutes of hate. That feeds some needs but with junk food.
What is needed seems fairly obvious to me: success stories and fellowship. Vention is an example, when he focuses on his house and garden as opposed to women. In person meet-ups would also be beneficial.

Stardust has clearly transcended MGOTW. But, in retrospect, don't we all want this??..... I don't think this is a bad thing at all. I myself want the same one day. I'm barely out of the "Red-Pill Rage" and I am literally a "Ghost" in society. I don't have many friends anymore and I have no intentions on making new ones. This is just me, "Going my own way." I will remain as such until I drop dead and I'm OK with it. Once you realized the fuckery in the world for what it is, life truly becomes meaningless. I kinda can't wait to die at this stage. I'm not suicidal, but I'm on autopilot now with little emotional output. I think I expended it all through the "Rage" stage. So now, I have lost interest in everything except for my career. I would rather be this way than be duped into marriage, relationships, etc. to please the masses. Being "Red-Pilled" from the lie I grew up in has matured me by leaps and bounds. However I go out from here is irrelevant and I'm fine with it.......call it whatever you want, I am free.......

At 58:12 in the case of talking to women, I saw pua video on how to successfully talk to women. It stated that women are kind of like water (I can't exactly remember the numbers in case of how women are composed) 85/95% emotion and 15/5% logic. At that I thought "Goddamn, no wonder I've never been able to hold conversations barely any women. The MGTOW loop. That's a perfect way to put it. I don't think it's all bad however. Even if some people need to stay in the loop in order to keep away from marriage and ultimately divorce, I think those men are better off for it. I would say that I am still in the loop myself, (for different reasons though). I feel no shame in admitting that because I've been in another loop before. When I first lost my Christian faith, for a window of time, it was basically all I could talk about. I broke out of that loop just like I will break out of this one.
Another thing talked about in this video that I still have some internal struggles with is groups. I have known for a long time now that I simply don't fit in. I have also never made any attempt to do so with any group; however, I am still young and there is a part of me that does want a group. Usually, it's no big deal. But occasionally it will eat at me. In fact, not too long ago it did. But those times are temporary and today I am a happy kitty once again.
Great talk guys; sounds like I have a lot to look forward to as I age. And y'alls' videos have helped me out a lot, so thanks for that too. Cheers!

Overall, I greatly enjoyed listening to you talk, but I was also left with the feeling that I listened to the male version of gossip. There was enough talk about your peers and little enough new commentary on the main subject that I was left wanting more. Something more substantial.
What I’m looking for is a good discussion about the way the world of men and women has changed and how to we might adjust the myriad interactions that we can’t escape so that men and women are truly treating each other as equals, and men aren’t the plow horse, the oxen, or the sacrificial lamb.
We will continue to live in a world where there are men and women. What I want to explore is how we make it work with some degree of balance and fairness.
I understand you gentlemen have chosen the path of withdrawal from women and going your own way. I respect that. On many days, I’m tempted to follow. But the reality of the western world is we live and work around women and we have to find a way to make it work.
The MRA’s are talking about part of it, but their anger seems to get in the way as often as it does for MGTOW.
The feminist’s have gone so far off the deep end that I think engaging them is a complete waste of time.
I respect both of you, Stardusk and HuMAN. I’d love to hear your conversations and intellect embrace the question of how to move forward, for all the various men in western society.

Also the positivist/negativist dichotomy of type is very evident between you two in this discussion.
You obviously being the negativist and huMan being the positivist.
Below is an excerpt from Viktor Gulenko's article "Forms of Cognition"
"Positivism I understand as the tendency to maximize the positive, Negativism as the tendency to minimize the negative. Positivists primarily perceive the positive side of any phenomenon, and often turn a blind eye to the negative. Negativists won't overlook problems, and simultaneously mitigate any positive aspects to their situation of interest.
    Intellectual Level
At this level, the Positivism-Negativism dichotomy manifests as identification of similarities or differences in object comparison. In Negativists thought processes prevails contrast, in Positivists leads comparison. Meaning that Positivists more easily hold overall views of an object, without considering its internal divisions. Conversely, Negativists more easily distinguish its extreme points of separation and opposing contrasts."

Hey Stardusk and huMAN, thank you for the discussion, I loved it.
After some reflection, I have some thoughts. The pitfalls of conformity is mentioned as an expansion to the concept of being red pilled and how it doesn’t completely cut it for some men (if not most). I would agree, but I found it interesting how both of you acquiesced that you’ve come to your senses (so to speak) in comparison to your younger selves and have now successfully embraced the precipice of complete freedom/independence. So in a way, it would seem both of you agree (please correct me if I’m wrong) that for men that use MGTOW either as a crutch for dealing with pain and/or for motivation of systemic change as opposed to an independent free lifestyle, are in a similar situation you both found yourselves in (I’m referring to the comment that you’ve evolved with age and perspective).
This all works for me, although I’d argue the only way that kind of independence could develop is through the hyper individualism that is present in a post-modernist/relativist/nihilist environment, the mass societal scaffolding of which affords that kind of mindset and lifestyle to develop. To put it another way, I forgot the specific experiment’s name… but I’m thinking of the study done on rats and over population. As they continued to bred, the rats eventually reached a breaking point where breeding stopped, homosexual and asexual behavior developed, in-group preferences were few, and stress levels were increased; all as a function of an environment that fosters these behaviors. In light of this study, and your previous comments about evolving with age, it’s hard to see extreme individualism of freedom as a natural choice at rest. I guess I am taking liberty in what I’m defining at rest, but I would define it as being in a free society devoid of the coercion of massive governments that have the ability to create their own preferred mating environments. I’m thinking more of just the natural way in which groups of men and women would form to create in-group preferences for a society and not so much the runaway train of an overarching empire/government controlling those preferences. Ultimately, I’m splitting hair a little bit here, even the Puritans had their own type of government of in-groups preferences, but hopefully you’re getting the point. I’m talking about the most natural state of relations, assuming governments cannot hamper the abilities to go to war and freely associate as groups looking to survive.
Personally, I am very much identical to the two of you, introvert, intellectually curious, can very easily self-reflect and dissociate myself from conformity and society, etc., but I can also honestly say that if I were living alone on the plains of the savanna and came across a cave woman, I would absolutely pair-bond, if not for sex, definitely for the survivability and biological aspect. I think that’s part of the problem now, marriage/love/sex today really is no longer rooted in survival...like the rats in the experiment...and not even really rooted in the psychological aspects of intimacy and bonding required in survival as men demonstrate during times in war, for example. Sure, some will say marriage is still about intimacy, but without the pressure of survival, intimacy is really nothing more than a perk. This is evident in the way people interact with each other. Sex is really about pleasure more than survival/bonding, dating is less about getting to know someone on a personal level and more about having fun and going through a checklist to see if the other person meets everything on the list, etc.; I’m being slightly hyperbolic in my explanation but if you work with me a little here perhaps you’ll get what I’m saying. Generally speaking, considering how personal relations and intimacy is fostered today, the survivability and necessity of intimacy is gone. This is evident by the fact that so many divorces are happing today (mostly initiated by women around the world), everyone’s sleeping around (women’s average partners continue to rise beyond men, and they exclusively have the burden of reproductive choice/attractabiilty), not to mention the fact loyalty/intimacy among men is also less desired as a whole in an hyper individualist society. All that being said, women will usually be the first to say love and true intimacy exist. In that aspect, the common refrain is that intimacy is a love that is transcendent from person to person and isn’t exclusive to one person. This is why women say they can divorce and still love the person they divorced, and that would be my exact point. Without the requirement of survival, loyalty/intimacy is really nothing more than feeling good for the time being and switching to another object of intimacy when the opportunity affords itself. It’s a very emotional intimacy, but not very practical… especially for men.

The catholic church still sees mariage and sex as a means of survival and raising children, and not for pleasure alone. They still think men should lead and women should follow. Mariage works if women needs a man for survival, that's why they have children and obey. If they didn't, they would fucking die. The moment women don't need an individual man for survival and protection, and the social rules (i,e slut shame or stoning if you're a muslim lol) are not in place anymore, they stop bonding and start demanding more and more. The price of pussy goes to the roof and mgtow is the only rational consequence. I'm afraid that we'll never see that freedom you're talking about. I feel like communist ideology is everywhere, the laws are getting worse and the government is still very present in our lives.
I absolutely agree with you at the end there, and i would add that you CAN'T trust womens feelings, you can't expect them to last forever and that her hypergamy won't kick in just because you're alpha enough. Women have to need men for this shit to work and last. We don't have to need them for us to love them, we drive way more pleasure being around them than the opposite. We have a way stronger sex drive and need for that intimacy than them, and that did and always will assure that we fulfill our role as males.

You aren't a group person because you are an INTJ with Polr Extraverted Feeling or Polr Fe.
Here is an excerpt from an article written on the Polr function in personality type.
Notes: Point of least resistance (PoLR) is also called vulnerable or painful function. It contains the information aspect that directly opposes the workings of one's creative function. It is also of opposite E/I-version of "Hidden Agenda" (e.g. if one's Hidden Agenda is Fi, then Fe will be the PoLR). Correspondingly, information relayed on this element has the reverse effect of activating function - it deactivates, demobilizes, slows, bores, or shuts one down. Vulnerable function is considered to be 1-dimensional, encompassing only the parameter of experience.
Here is a description of Extraverted Feeling
Fe is generally associated with the ability to recognize and convey (i.e. make others experience) passions, moods, and emotional states, generate excitement, liveliness, and feelings, get emotionally involved in activities and emotionally involve others, recognize and describe emotional interaction between people and groups, and build a sense of community and emotional unity.
That is from the study of Socionics.

As for saying " im not a sexist but..". Not something i do , i talk with authority about feminism being toxic for men and women... and quote camille paglia Etc... women actually like men who stand firm ... they find it refreshing and sexy. Think sean connery etc. being metrosexual is a dead end.

Also the gaming thing later on in the video. As a semi competitive player I've come to understand this kind of multiplayer gaming on the PC, where you're matchmaking, you just have to accept that the fate is in the team selection and you just have to wait for your turn to lose or win. And that many of the people doing stupid things are just on that learning curve where they don't know as well as you because they're just at the stage of being a newb that you once were. I'm like you that I find it frustrating all the same. You can move towards competative arranged games between clans but it doesn't really solve the problem it sort of just kicks the can down the road, now it's some smaller more nuanced thing that decides who wins and loses. Basically it's one way of saying that you're never going to win the majority of your games in a team game, mathematically it's going to be about half for everyone with enough random play. But it's frustrating non the less.

Thinking Ape kind of reminds me of Jim Florentine, his tone, his cynicism. He cracks me up even though I know he's not trying to be funny.

About art, or my view on it is that it isn't about being "good" at it, it's about self-expression. What you produce is what you are and how you see things. E.g. if you can't draw, it doesn't matter, it's self-explanatory through your art. To put it bluntly: if you are trying to express something graphically, it tells that whatever you are trying to tell is important to you, you are just shitty expressing it.
But like walking, talking, thinking, archery, swimming, using chopsticks, climbing, painting: you'll get better by doing it, you'll get better at expressing yourself graphically the more you draw. In time you'll learn to avoid excessive and unnecessary strokes.
If you're a boxer, the only way you'll get relaxed enough is through practice, you'll learn to use ONLY the muscles needed to throw a punch. Same goes for anything else, by doing it over and over again, you'll learn to do only what is needed and letting go of the rest, thus achieving energy efficiency or elegance, grace, fluidity in the movement/action etc. Doing it relaxed = doing it enjoyably = doing it as yourself. If you're shitty, accept it, because that's what you are, continue anyway, enjoy it. Art is about your take on a subject as yourself, it isn't competition of skill.
Actually to think of it life itself is art, do it your way. It's like a canvas: you decide what and how much of it is on it. Whatever is on it, explains itself by being there, no need for further explanation _(this is why I hate art critics.. there is no meaning behind the painting, the painting IS the meaning, it's all there like the way it should be and everyone can see it)_ And when you run out of the "canvas of life", the piece is ready; it's complete = death will buy it lol..
I know you probably "hate" these kinda things, but tried to speak from my heart.
*Tl;dr: whatever you do, do it as yourself i.e. enjoy it as much as you can, if you can't enjoy it, don't do it.*

To me the cognitive dissonance fueling so much of the conversation comes from having to wear that mask... needing to live according to society's standards while being too aware of what is going on and having absolutely nowhere to share perspective.
We need to invest in our public personas, and that means ACTING. Talking online, thinking, intellectualism... they aren't sustainable in face of what you actually do in life.

I really like your content, but please keep in mind that 2:40h is a lot of time to listen to one podcast/ video. Also keep in mind that you have viewers who are not native english speakers, which increases the potential cognitive effort they have to put in to get the content. So an edited version like a "best of", a list of jump labels or other ideas to make this more accessible might be a good idea. Just sayin.

Ok thanks, I will look into the Stardusk Compilation. I already know Coltaine, I probably listened to every of his videos at least twice. Now Coltaine is a good example, because his videos have a specific topic, and usually a good structure, and also provide visuals - so it is way easier for me to jump back to listen to specific parts again if I lost track (english is not my first language). This is quite hard to do in a 2,5h audio only discussion like this. But of course I try, it is a good way to improve my english listening skills.

Stardusk how do you deal with the girls in Overwatch?Or even worse couples. Usually DPS and Healer couples.
    i am a Diamond/Master level DPS player.
Blizzzard saw that the female player base is playing mainly Mercy.
So that character is buffed alot. you see also a lot of one trick mercy mains.
As i remember u play Ana. She was nerfed hard. after and during Season 3.

    • @thinking-ape6483
      @thinking-ape6483  7 лет назад +3

I have moved away from Ana in recent months, gravitating to Zenyatta and have been able to climb much more, across 3 different accounts, even dipped into GM briefly. Zen just has more reach but I will play Ana still if I deem it necessary as well as Lucio. I play about 8 heroes in total. Don't get me started on Mercy one tricks; my main account is called SayNoToMercy.

    • @sexymonkey7148
      @sexymonkey7148 7 лет назад

Yep Zen is right now awesome. He is also in the Meta right now.
Secret DPS,easy Healing (compered to Ana), Increased damage output(discord).
Always helps in uncoordinated teams when someone takes a healer.
I prefer to play zen on KOTH maps and give shout outs who is discorded.
I have 2accounts.had around500h with Genji. Yeah I was that guy but
      never played Hanzo or Widow.
Started asa Genji main. Blizzard nerfed Genji into the ground and buffed his counters.
First Symmetram buff. Took some time to adapt to that as Genji.
Second the Lucio Boop. Made it so difficult.
To be more Clear. Blizzard is nerfing all characters which require Skill.
      Genji, Ana,Roadhog
Now the latest, buffed McCree’s Flashbang to counter Genji in the air.
So around mid-Season 4 forced to play Tracer, Pharah, Soldier, Winston and Zen. Then took a break.
Still follow the Pro Scene, E-Sports in some extend
      If u wanna go
      some QP or Comp
      zir#21560
also tried to contact you to make a topic for you

Some of us (older ones) have a more received (English) pronunciation, younger ones with a bit a Canadian accent leaking in. With huMAN's accent i would agree his is very typical of middle Australia. There is an unconscious conformance in speaking accent & tone to emphasise authenticity and trustworthiness between men.

Either you accept MGTOW and actually go your own way; ANY way you choose; or you don't and just keep LIKING the MGTOW mentality and ideas and keep bitching about women and never actually go ANYwhere--- AT SOME POINT YOU MUST TAKE STEPS to go your own way and stop spending your time talking about how horrible women are and bitching about it; if you LAREADY accepted MGTOW, well, START going your own way!! That shit is not as easy as it sonds people!! Once you take women out of the equation and you have a whole lot of YEARS ahead of you to suppossedly do whatever you are interested in.... you find out many of the thiings you thought you were interested in are hard to do and you become UNinterested in them rather fast... and finding somehting else to ignite your interest is time consuming and most of those thiings wittle away fast too... without women, life is not necessarily better or easier!! shocker!! is it preferable?? well, if you ACCEPTED mgtow then it SEEMS you already made your decision, but how many accept it and then go right back??
It is SIMILAR to an alcoholic who finaly accepts the facts of it all: he is a drunk AND IT IS RUINED HIS LIFE AND it may get him even worse unless... but accepting it is NOT fixing it, that shit is a lot harder than the acceptance was. NOw he has to decide how he is going to live his life without alcohol, and what about all those friends, and what about weekends, and what about all those ideas that got him into drinking, and what will he substitute those things with.... what will he do at parties, does he need to give them up? and what about his wife or kids after drinking, will they like him better or only SAY they do?? where will he need to live now? etc etc etc... it all DOES NOT just fal into place.

Fantastic discussion, gentlemen. I disagree with the points Stardusk was trying to make regarding talent. You can't conflate intellectual pursuits with athletic talents. We still know very little about the elasticity of the human mind. Our training is very insufficient in most of these areas. Enthusiasm for practice is a much greater predictor of quality than talent. I say this as a person who has achieved professional status in a few creative/intellectual careers that at one point in life, I was not considered "talented" at.
